The final exam was just around the corner. The schedule of Soshi Girls and Super Boys were cleared from any activities to give time for them to focus on study.

The classes for today had ended. Instead of going home, Sunny and Sungmin decided to stay back at the library. They had a lot of things to catch up especially they had to skip the classes many time before.

Sunny was at the bookshelves. After done looking for the books that she wanted, she went back to the table with a few thick books in her hand. “Aigoo~” She sighed in relief after putting the books.

She took the seat back and took a look at Sungmin. She chuckled seeing him already fell asleep on the table. Just a while ago she left to find the books, he was still reading. She just let him sleep and continued studying.

After 30 minutes, she took a look at him again and chuckled that he seemed sleep properly despite the uncomfortable position. “Yah~ wake up.” She shook his arm, however he stayed unmoved. “Lee Sungmin, wake up~” He remained sleeping soundly. “Ah, seriously!”

She stared at him for a moment and suddenly a smirk appeared on her face like she got something on her mind. She took the marker and went to sit beside him. Then, she started drawing on his face as she let out a silent laugh. She smiled widely after observing her skillful drawing on his face and returned to her seat. She continued studying but couldn’t help taking a few glances since he looked so funny.

Since he still slept soundly and she couldn’t wait to see his reaction for her prank, she herself woke him up. “Lee Sungmin, wake up!” She hit his head with a book lightly.

He eventually got awake especially with her hit. “Ouch!” He rubbed his head at the part he got hit. “Yah, what did you just do?!” He glared at her.

She stuck out her tongue at him playfully. “This is not a place for sleeping, ok?”

“Ah, really…” He let out a long sigh. He looked around while zoning out. He still looked blank after being awake from sleeping.

She stole a few glances at him. She tried her best to hold her laughter but unintentionally let out little laugh.

“What~?!” He asked in annoyance.

“No, nothing.” She bit her lips to hold the laughter. She bowed down her head, pretending to focus on the study back.

His eyes wandered around and spotted a group of girls were having their eyes on him. All of them were smiling widely seeing him. Thinking that they were his fans, he returned their smile brightly. He even waved his hand in the air. However, they even started laughing that made him felt strange. He frowned as he was thinking.

He realized that Sunny also paid attention to them and laughed along too especially when she looked at him. “What’s so funny?!” He was irritated with her teasing laugh.

“Well… not sure…” She raised one of her eyebrows playfully. He suddenly got up and went to sit beside Sunny. He took her bag and looked for something in rush. “Yah, what are you doing?” She asked.

It turned out that he was looking for the mirror. He then stared at himself in the mirror. His eyes went bigger as his lower jaw dropped. “Ah, so embarrassing!” He was in disbelief. “Yah, Lee Sunkyu! How can you do that?! Aish, really…” She just smiled mischievously. “You are dead when I get back!”

He walked away, heading to the toilet to wash his face. She just laughed happily like a little kid, celebrating the success of her little prank.

He came back a moment later and took a seat beside her angrily. “You ought to get the punishment for your action.” He said to her seriously.

She put the pen and paid her attention to him. “What are you going to do?” She seemed wasn’t scared of it at all and just looked forward for it.

He stared at her while smirking. “Your punishment… kiss!”

“Wh… what?!” She asked in disbelief. Soon, a shy smile appeared on her face. “Yah!” She hit his arm lightly. “Are you crazy?! We’re in the library right now!” There were a lot people around.

“Don’t misunderstand. I don’t want to kiss you but… since it’s your punishment, your boyfriend has to do it which is me. I can’t let anyone else to kiss you, otherwise people might badmouth me.”

She chuckled for his lame excuse. “Hang on… a punishment should be something that I don’t like and you would have enjoyed, right? Then, what that was supposed to be?” She pretended to be clueless.

He lost his words, as expected, lately he kept losing to her in any argument. “Who said the punishment should have been like that? I can do whatever I want.” He still denied it. Honestly, he still felt embarrassed to act sweet to her without any reason.

“Hah, just admit it, Lee Sungmin!” She made fun of him. “You took advantage of me, isn’t it?”

“Wh… what are you talking about?! Enough! I’ll just let you go easily then!” He eventually decided to let her go without punishment.

She let out a laugh for her victory. She focused back on the study as Sungmin just stayed silently there. Actually, she couldn’t give full attention since they were talking about kiss just now. Both of them got their cheeks red.

“Sunny-ah…” He suddenly called out gently.

She got quite startled with that. “O… oh? She hesitantly replied. Her heart did skip a beat.

“What’s time is it now?”

“What? Time?” It wasn’t like she expected of. She looked quite disappointed. She took a look at her wristwatch. “4PM.”

“4PM…” He nodded. “What?! 4PM?!” He asked in disbelief. “Oh My God!!!”

“Why? Why? What’s wrong?” She found it was strange to see him getting so anxious.

He immediately got up. “I’ve to go somewhere. Don’t go anywhere, I’ll come back later.”

“Hang on!” She held his hand to stop him. “Can’t you tell where are you going first? Besides, why are you getting worried so much? Is it that important?”

“I’ve to go now. Let’s talk later.” He put away her hands from his. “Remember, stay here. We’ll go home together.” He walked away.

She leaned her back against the chair. “Why is he acting like that?” She muttered. She couldn’t help but feeling uneasy.

“Ah, I forget something!” Suddenly, he popped out behind her which shocked her.

“Yah, you shocked me!” She patted her chest and let out a relieved sigh.

He bent down and whispered to her ear. “Your punishment…” Later, he gave a peck on her cheek and quickly ran away like a thief.

Her eyes went bigger. She touched her cheek and her lips curled up. “Ceh! What is this?” Her smile became wider and she giggled happily before continuing her study. Her minds went blank after the kiss from him, she didn’t wonder anymore about the place and the reason why he suddenly got to leave.

As soon as Sungmin left from the class during the break time, he was immediately attacked and circled by his fan-girls. After the successful first Asian Tour of Soshi Girls and Super Boys at the Seoul last month, his fan girls increased significantly as he managed to steal their heart with the guitar playing skill that he showed for the first time.

Despite being always tired due to the hectic schedule, plus attending the school, he didn’t mind to hold a small fan-meeting and generously shower them with his killer cute smile. It finally ended after 10 minutes as he even tried hard to make it fast since that he had promised with Sunny to have meal together.

He soon rushed to the place that he asked her to go. He hove a sigh of relief after he spotted her sitting on the green grass under the shady tree.

“Sorry~ have you waited for long?” He took a seat beside her.

She did look quite pissed off. “I’m seriously…” She glared. “If you are late for one more minute, I would have left by then.”

“Hey, it’s not entirely my mistake, okay? It’s just that my fans suddenly wanted to see me so much. You should be proud with the fact that your boyfriend has a lot of fans, right?” He boasted.

“Ceh! For your information, I have a lot of fan-boys too, you know?!”

“Where? Where?” He by pretending to look around where there were only two of them.

She sulked with his teasing. “Alright, I think it’s better for me to spend time with my fans then.” She was about to get up.

However, he quickly pulled her which she ended up staying seated beside him. He chuckled and wrapped his arm around her neck as he moved closer to her. “Oh, ho! Since when my girlfriend has gotten angry easily?”

She couldn’t pay attention to what he said as she froze because he naturally moved to stay close to her like this. “Wh… what are you doing?” She looked straight, being too shy to have eye-contact with him.

“Why? Is it wrong for me to do this?” He drew his face closer to hers that his lips almost touched her cheek and she could even feel the warmth from his breath. “Hm?”

That caused her heart to pound crazily. She kept stuttering, “I… it’s it’s not wrong but… but… what if people see us?”

“Who cares? You are my girlfriend, right?” He refused to move away as he moved his hand as this time, he wrapped his arm around her tightly.

She found it was so absurd that he suddenly changed to this sweet person and she started to think of what may be the reason. “Hang on…” She turned to face him. “Did you eat the wrong medicine?” She asked seriously.

“What?” He just smiled that she had such a thought. Well, he kind of expected it since he become more shameless to act sweet towards her. He didn’t know the exact reason why he didn’t feel strange and shy to make physical affection towards her anymore. Maybe she was just too lovable to him that he couldn’t hold his feeling and just expressed it as much as he wanted.

“Or… are you sick?” She made sad expression while cupping his face. “What is it? Is it that severe that you don’t have much time?”

“Yah! You have such great imagination, don’t you? No, I don’t!”

“Then, what is it? Why are you being like this?” She looked frustrated that she couldn’t figure it out. “Hang on…” She even turned her body around like she was ready to have a serious conversation with him. “Did you do something wrong to me?”

“Of course not, why did you keep thinking nonsense? Aigoo~” He pinched her cheek gently.

“Then, it’s impossible for a person to drastically change like this. What did you do behind my back?!” She frowned, couldn’t control her anger thinking that he had done wrong to her for him acting so nice.

“I’m talking the truth. I didn’t hide anything from you.” He tried hard to explain when he sensed that she’s really going to misunderstand.

Before she could argue more, their conversation was interrupted by a phone call. It was Sungmin’s cell phone and he picked it up. “Hello?… I’m with Sunny… why?... right now? But… alright, alright, I get it…” He ended the call.

He lifted his head up, staring at Sunny with hesitant look in his eyes. She seemed more annoyed that he reacted that way after the phone call. “What is it?” She asked seriously.

“Actually, I have to go somewhere now.” He mustered his courage to say it out especially he had to leave after getting into that situation.

“What?! Didn’t you promise to me to have meal together today?!” She was really upset and angry that he even went as far as breaking their promise. What was the thing that he talked on the phone that was much more important than her right now?

“Yes, yes… I did… but something came out and I have to settle it now. So, can I go?” He pleaded.

“Then, what is that ‘something’?”  She folded her arms.

“Th… that… I can’t tell you… but, you just have to know that it’s really important.”

“Wow, I’m really…” She was so speechless that he hid something from her. “Don’t you remember how many times that every time we are together, you just suddenly disappear and said that you had something important to do?! And, now too?!” She eventually burst into anger that he kept making her felt uneasy especially when before, he being so strangely sweet to her.

“I know that and I’m really sorry but… I have to do it. Can… can I go now?”

She turned away from him. “Do whatever you want. Why are you asking my permission when in the first place, you don’t consider my feeling at all? It’s not my business!”

“I’ll come back to talk to you later, okay?” He got up and quickly walked away, leaving her alone.

She stared at him disappearing from the sight in disbelief. She didn’t think that he really dared to do that when she already let out her anger. It was so upsetting to her. He didn’t care of her feelings at all and ‘that’ important thing comes first to him.

Sunny just stayed silently under that tree even after Sungmin had left her. She still found his action was disappointing. Suddenly, she got up and looked determined, seeming like she had made a decision. She wanted to find out what exactly he’s hiding from her. She just felt very uneasy.

She looked for him around the school and finally spotted him from afar in the court. She wondered if his secret concerned to basketball but couldn’t come up with any guess. She approached the court and she just realized he was not alone and it is much worse, she saw him with a person that she didn’t feel too comfortable to see him with especially when he had been suspicious lately.

She clenched her teeth little when she saw Hara was holding onto Sungmin’s arm affectionately and she couldn’t help but being jealous. She tried to think rationally that they acted just like regular friends. She saw they were talking to a guy, as far as she remembered that guy was a new student, he just transferred last month but due to his skill in playing basketball, he got accepted into basketball team quickly.

“Junhyung, this is actually my boyfriend.” Hara introduced Sungmin to the new student. Sunny’s jaw dropped upon hearing what Hara just said.

“Oh, really? I didn’t know that.” Junhyung replied in please. “Anyways, you guys did look good together.” He smiled.

Sunny and Sungmin seemed like they froze due to Junhyung’s unexpected reaction. It seemed like it didn’t go like they planned. They thought he would be at least little jealous. “Huh? I… well… thank you.” Hara awkwardly replied. She seemed frustrated.

Suddenly, Sungmin involuntarily bowed his head as he got hit by a ball that felt like was thrown to him on purpose. “Ouch!” He held onto his head in pain. “Yah!!! Who the heck is that?!!! Can’t you be careful?!!!” He yelled, thinking that it might be one of members of basketball team. He turned around and his eyes went bigger.

Sunny was glaring at him while grasping her hand in anger. She didn’t cry yet but the tears started to form in her eyes. What made it worse, she threw at him a disgusted look, being in disbelief of what she just found out. “Bad guy!” She mumbled angrily.

“Oh no!” He looked panicked.

Before he could think what he should do, she already walked away from there in anger. He was about to chase after her but got stopped by Hara. “Yah, what are you doing? Don’t do stupid thing! Remember about our plan!” She whispered at him while taking a look at the confused Junhyung.

Sungmin flung off her hand angrily. “Yah! Do you think I can do that when I’m having a problem like this?! Do you think I can ignore it like nothing happened?! Aish!!!” He yelled in frustration before walking away to chase after Sunny.

Hara bit her lower lips in frustration as not only her plan was ruined, she just also embarrassed herself in front of the guy that she had crush on.

“What is going on?” Junhyung asked Hara.

“Well…” Hara just grinned awkwardly while scratching her head, now knowing how to start explain this nonsense situation.

Sungmin looked around the school area but she was nowhere to be seen. He knew that this misunderstanding would hurt her deeply since she didn’t know the truth. He was really worried what she was doing now.

After about half an hour looking for her, he finally gave up especially the bell rang 15 minutes ago. Now, he had to be worried what would be his excuse for being late. Besides, he thought there might be possibility that she went back to class especially the girls would be there to comfort her.

He eventually returned to the class and the teacher was already there, glaring at him seriously for being late. However, instead of minding about that, he was more concerned for her. His eyes immediately went to look at her seat. He was relieved to see her and smiled.

However, she just looked fine and there was no sign that she had cried. She just looked… cold. Honestly, that was more worrying to him.

“Lee Sungmin, why are you smiling? Are you making fun of me?” The teacher asked seriously.

“Oh, no, no…” He immediately denied. “I’m really sorry for being late. My stomach just didn’t feel that good.” He hoped his lie would be accepted.

The teacher sighed deeply before deciding to not think too much about his being late. “Just return to your seat.” She said lazily.

“Thank you.” He replied happily before returning to his seat. Taeyeon, Jessica, Onew, Donghae and Wooyoung seemed wondering why he being so late and they didn’t seem to believe his lame excuse. There must be something happening especially when Sunny was acting weird.

The lesson continued like usual. As expected, Sungmin couldn’t pay his attention at all. He continuously took a glance at Sunny. She looked just fine. She acted like nothing had happened. He thought it was so astonishing. Was she really not angry at all? Or at least sad? But, he still remembered clearly how she looked like when he saw her at the court before. He couldn’t forget the anger, disgust and hurt shown clearly in her eyes. Honestly, her being like this was making him more uneasy.

Finally, the time he had waited for had come. The teacher came out from the classroom after the lesson ended and the students started packing their things. Sungmin immediately got up from his seat and approached Sunny.

Meanwhile, Taeyeon, Jessica, Wooyoung, Onew and Donghae paid their attention to them. They were really curious to death what exactly was wrong with them this time.

Sungmin said as Sunny was packing her things. “We need to talk.” She ignored him like he was invisible and continued packing. “Sunny-ah.” He called for her gently but she still didn’t give any response. He eventually grabbed her arm. “We really need to talk. I can explain everything. It’s not like what you think.” She didn’t even say any words and just put off his hand from hers. He was quite taken aback that she acted this cold to him. He thought it was better if she vented out her anger.

She finished packing and walked away from him. He was so shocked that he couldn’t do anything. She stopped for a while as Taeyeon and Jessica just stayed silently there seeing this absurd situation. “Aren’t you guys coming?” She sounded quite serious that caused the atmosphere become scary.

“O… oh… coming!” Jessica and Taeyeon immediately packed their own things and ran after Sunny.

“Aish, this can’t be!!” He muttered in frustration and was about to chase after Sunny but got grabbed by the boys. “What are you guys doing?!” He asked in annoyance.

“It’s not a good choice to talk to her now. Let her anger cool down little. ” Donghae advised.

Sungmin finally agreed. “I get it.” They let go of him.

Three of them started to interrogate him like he was a criminal that commit a serious crime. “So, what did you do to her that caused her to be like that? It must not be just because of silly argument, right?”

“Well, I… it’s not a mistake actually… it’s just that…”

“Not a mistake?!” Onew asked in disbelief. “Then, why is it that she acted like that for?! It means a girl really hurts when she chooses to ignore you. So, what is it?”

Sungmin didn’t have any choice and just explained everything to them from the start.

“No wonder she acted like that…” Wooyoung shook his head in disbelief, clearly thinking that it was obviously Sungmin’s wrongdoing.

“It’s that really my mistake?! I did it because I didn’t want her to think nonsense! She would have misunderstood everything.”

“You know, it causes much more misunderstanding if you are afraid from being misunderstood. Do you understand?” Onew gave a piece of a wise advice.

“He’s right. It is more much suspicious, that’s why she reacted like this. Especially, she didn’t know the truth yet, right? She must think that you really did cheat on her.” Donghae added.

“Then, why should I do?!”

“You are the one look for problem, then you solve it!” Wooyoung said jokingly.

“What?!” Sungmin asked in disbelief. “Are you guys really my friends?!” He looked more annoyed that the boys still during this important time. They just laughed at him.

Jessica and Taeyeon didn’t have enough courage to ask Sunny about what actually happened. They thought it’s better if she mentioned about it first. They didn’t want her to be in bad mood for no reason.

They had waited for long until it was already night. However, what made them confused was that the last time she had big argument with Sungmin, she would cry and locked herself in room.

They were in the living room, watching television. Sunny just laughed happily enjoying the show but Jessica and Taeyeon didn’t focus that much on the show since they had been keeping their eyes on Sunny. Jessica and Taeyeon sat close to each other as they talked slowly almost whisper, about Sunny.

“Do you think anything did happen? She just looks fine.” Jessica said.

“But, this afternoon, she acted strangely. Besides, she ignored Sungmin, remember? I’m pretty sure it’s not like their common fight. They would argue loudly. But, instead, she chooses to ignore him.”

Jessica agreed. “That’s right. Sungmin must do something bad that hurt her so much. But, still… she didn’t look like a hurt person at all right now.” It was so confusing that she felt frustrated.

“Who know? She might use that to cover her real feeling. We don’t know how she feels inside.” Taeyeon added.

“Oh, no!!!” All of a sudden, Sunny raised her voice slightly.

“What? What? What?!” Jessica and Taeyeon were so taken aback with her reaction out of nowhere.

“Next week, we have test, right? I didn’t prepare anything yet!” She looked rather panicked about the test which completely opposed to what Jessica and Taeyeon were thinking about.

“W… ww… what?!” They both asked in unison, feeling so absurd that she had to be concerned about that instead.

Sunny got up. “I think it’s better if I use this free time for study.” She was about to walk to her room but stopped to add something. “Ah, if in case anyone looking for me, just say to him, I don’t feel like seeing anyone, ok?”

“Him, who?” Taeyeon asked. They both anticipated her response.

“I didn’t specify anyone. Nevertheless, I just don’t want to see anyone, that’s all, ok?”

“Well… fine.” They both couldn’t ask further anymore when they were aware that Sunny really wanted to avoid talking about that.

When they had make sure Sunny disappeared into her room, they continuing their discussion. “See, something’s clearly wrong? This is really making me crazy!” Jessica scratched her head in frustration as she was curious to death to know the truth.

“Should we just ask Sungmin instead?” Taeyeon suggested.

“Yes, we should!” Jessica immediately agreed. “I don’t think I can tolerate with my curiosity anymore!” Taeyeon chuckled with Jessica’s quite-over-reaction.

They were about to get up but stopped when the person that they wanted to see the most at this right moment, was coming towards them. “Oh, Sungmin-ah, we just thought wanting to see you.”

“Is she here?” Sungmin asked cautiously while looking around like a mouse being afraid from getting caught by a cat.

Taeyeon replied, “She’s in her room but…”

Sungmin cut her off. “In room?” He was about to go to her room but got stopped by both of them.

“Hang on! Hang on!” Jessica went to grab him and made him sat down on the sofa.

“Why~” He asked while making puppy face hoping that they would go easy on him now that he had to go through second interrogation.

“Explain everything to us first. What actually have happened between you guys?”

“This has been so frustrating, you know. Sunny won’t even talk anything to us. Besides, she also acted like nothing happened. I wonder if she was that hurt to the point that she tried her best to not get reminded of about it. Honestly, I prefer if she cries instead. It’s just so scary to see her acting strong.”

“Alright, alright. I’ll explain.” He calmed them down and then, started telling everything from the start.

Sunny was in her room, trying her best to focus on the study. She stopped writing for a while and sighed, obviously she failed to focus. Now, when she was alone like this, it felt so impossible to not think what she just found out this afternoon.

She recalled back and she couldn’t forget the moment when Hara introduced Sungmin as her boyfriend. She unconsciously grasped her hand that contained the pen tightly. She was so furious. It seemed like she could just break the pen. Her tears slowly formed in her eyes. No matter how hard she tried to act strong, she just couldn’t endure it, eventually showed her real feelings. Her tears finally fell to her cheek.

She wiped her tears. “No, no. Don’t be so pathetic.” She told herself to be strong. She didn’t want to shed tears for worthless person.

She managed to throw it from her mind for a while when there was something else caught her attention. She heard a knock but it wasn’t from the door, it came from the window. She turned to look at the window, there was nothing.

Her heart suddenly beat faster when nonsense thought attacked her minds. Her room was at the second floor, people won’t be able to knock her window. She gulped as she slowly turned her head away from the window. “I must hear it wrong.” She just denied it to comfort herself.

The knock repeated again. “Omo!” She blurted out as she was taken aback. She bit her lips in frustration before having courage to look behind, towards the window. She couldn’t see anything. “Aish, seriously!!!” She shouted before mustering her courage to check it out. She couldn’t stay calm unless she found out what is the source of the sound of the knock.

She approached the window carefully and opened it. Then, as she opened, a loud sound was produced. “Argh!!!” She shouted, getting surprised when she heard it. It sounded like the window hit something. Even it wasn’t that clear, she could see a figure and heard a groan maybe because of getting hit by the window. She couldn’t hold anymore and screamed loudly. “ARRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!”

Then, suddenly, it got silent when a hand was covering Sunny’s mouth to shut her up. “Hey, this is me!” Sungmin said in pain as his other hand was holding onto his head as he got hit by the window when Sunny opened it.

Sunny finally calmed down after making sure that it was really him. He took off his hand from . “Ouch!” He groaned as the pain still didn’t stop killing him.

Sunny still looked in disbelief that he was here. He was standing on the small veranda and she could see stairs that was put purposely there to lean against the wall for him to climb up. “Yah! What are you doing here?! Shocked me to death!”

“It’s because you don’t want to see me, I have to use this method.”

“Why should I meet you?! I don’t want to hear your stupid lame excuse!!!” She yelled to him and was going to close the window back but he stopped her.

“Wait, wait! Don’t be like this. At least, you should be fair by giving me a chance to explain.”

“Fine, 5 minutes!” She said seriously and folded her arm, not showing any interest at all what she was going to hear.

Sungmin started to explain as quick as he could. “First of all, it was just a mere misunderstanding. It’s not like what you think about. There’s nothing between me and Hara.”

She didn’t even have eye-contact with him and just looked at other direction coldly. “You have 3 minutes left.”

“What?! I said it’s misunderstanding! I just help her…”

She cut him off. “I think 5 minutes is too much since you are just repeating the same thing.” She said seriously and was about to close the window.

As expected, he stopped her again. He won’t give up until they solved this argument tonight. “Hang on!” He held the window tightly that even Sunny couldn’t fight with his strength.

She eventually yelled. “Yah! What’s more do you want?! I gave you what you want, now can you let me be in peace?!”

“Be responsible!” He suddenly said like a pregnant woman asking a man to be responsible for his action.

“What?!”

“You hit my head with the window!”

“You deserved that! Did anyone ask you to be here?!” She stuck her tongue out at him and this time, she used all her strength to close the window.

Sungmin also used his both hands to prevent Sunny from closing the window which he had to show his forehead, at the part where he got hit that he had been holding onto since before because it was so hurt.

Just then, Sunny realized that it was worse than what she expected. It was swollen and looked very red. She loosened her grip as her eyes were on his head. “Is it that bad?”

“Of course! Do you think I got hit for nothing?!”

She lost her words as she stared at him apologetically. She felt quite guilty. He wondered why she was like that, raising his eyebrows as he also stared at her.

“Wait in my room. I will take the ice.” She said shortly before turning around.

He giggled happily that now he got an excuse to be with her longer and the fact that she still cared for him even she was still angry.

She heard his soft laugh and turned her body back towards him. She glared at him as she said seriously, “Don’t make me change my minds.”

He bit his lips to cover the laugh as he obediently nodded his head like a little kid. She turned around, leaving the room. He climbed over the window and went to sit on her bed excitedly waiting for her.

Sunny came back a few minutes later with ices wrapped in a small towel. She sat beside him. She hesitantly held his face and gently put the ices around the swollen part. She did feel quite embarrassed that Sungmin kept his eyes on her.

“Don’t stare at me.” She said seriously, feeling so embarrassed.

“Then? I can’t see anywhere else when you are doing this, can’t I?”

“Then, you did it by yourself.” She was about to give the small towel containing the ice to him.

“No, no, no! I get it. I will close my eyes.” He refused to take it and closed his eyes. She continued and then, her eyes went to his lips because it caught her attention. He obviously pouted his lips for no reason.

“Yah, what are you doing?!” She smacked his lips as it bothered her.

“Ouuuchh~ It hurts!” She glared at him as he just laughed happily. He just liked to joke around with her. He wanted to cool down her anger before talking seriously with her later. “Who knows? When I close my eyes, you might have wanted to kiss me secretly.”

“Ah, seriously… I’m really going just…!!!” She raised her hand like wanting to hit him but he grabbed it first to stop her.

“I get it, I get it! I’m just joking around. I will be serious this time.” She still glared at him who still couldn’t stop chuckling. “Hurry up, it really hurts~” He said cutely while making puppy face.

She sighed in annoyance before putting the ice back on his forehead. This time, he finally stayed silent and stared at her but a wide smile stuck on his face. He felt just so happy to see her caring about him this much. She looked concerned as she checked out the swollen. It was indeed bad as it already turned blue as it was just red a while ago.

She was aware of his expression that seemed like a person who was in love. “What’s up with that smile? Aren’t this hurt? You can even smile like this.”

“What can I do? I can’t help but smiling when you care about me like this.” He replied sweetly.

No matter how much she was angry at him, she still melted every time he sweet talked to her. She bit her lips to hide her smile but her cheeks clearly already turned red.

As expected, he realized about that. “You like it?”

“Aish, seriously! You don’t even feel hurt at all, right? For you to act silly like this! Aigoo!!!” She purposely pressed stronger at the swollen part with the towel.

“Arr… argghhh!! Ouch! It hurts!!!!” He immediately kept his distance away from her. “Hey, can’t you be gentle?! Don’t act so harsh to a sick person!”

“Hah!” She rolled her eyes in annoyance. “If you are sick, then you should act like a sick person first!”

“I should use other way…” He mumbled while looking at her with naughty smile.

“What?!”

He suddenly came closer to her and wrapped his arms around her waist tightly until their faces were a few inches away.

“Yah, what are you doing?! Let me go!!” She struggled to escape herself from his embrace but she was not his opponent. He suddenly planted a kiss on her cheek. Her eyes went bigger. “What…” He shut her up by this time, giving a peck on her lips. She immediately covered with her hand.

“I won’t stop until you give me full attention to what I am going to explain.” He said slyly and then, gave a peck on her cheek again since she covered .

“Yes, yes, I get it! I’ll listen word by word what you are going to say, ok now?!” She half-shouted. He smiled in satisfaction and slightly loosened his hold on her but didn’t completely let her go. “Can you let me go now, can’t you?”

“Hhhmm~” He shook his head. “I’ll say it while having you in my arm.”

“Aish, you really have many conditions.” She couldn’t help but feeling happy too with his action and just let him do what he wanted. “Just say it.”

“First, there is nothing between me and Hara. You are just misunderstanding. Do you remember before we got together, I asked Hara to pretend to be my girlfriend? I did the same for her to return what she did for us. You know Junhyung, the new student who just transferred to our school, right? He’s the one who Hara likes and I just helped them to be together, that’s all.”

Sunny was still confused and found it was hard to believe yet. “Then, the reason why you always missing…”

“Yes, because of that. We discussed the plan to make it work.”

“You even have to abandon me?!” Her eyes went bigger out of anger. “Do you know how many times, you left me without any reason whenever you promised to spend time together?! Am I that less important to you?! You know how hurt I was?!”

“I’m sorry, I’m really sorry about that. It’s urgent because timing is very important. I have to find a perfect timing so that the plan would work.”

“Then, why did you hide from me?! You can just tell me from the start, can’t you?!”

“Because I know you would get jealous, I didn’t want you to misunderstand.” He said playfully while pinching her nose gently.

“Yah! It’s more suspicious when you think beforehand that I will misunderstand when you didn’t say it yet! Ceh!” She hit his chest and rolled her eyes, avoiding making eye-contact with him.

Sungmin was confused with her reaction. Did he succeed or not in persuading her? “What that was supposed to mean? Don’t you believe me?”

“Everything is just so nonsense that I found it hard to believe.” She sighed. “Especially due to your history with Hara.”

“Yah, what history?!” He asked in disbelief. “We didn’t have anything going on even in the past or now.”

“Who knows? Maybe you were pretending before but now you realize your own feelings towards each other…” She raised one of her eyebrows while making annoyed face.

“Yah, how can you imagine that far?! It’s not true! I’m telling the truth, I didn’t feel anything for her…” He wanted to explain more but got interrupted by a phone call. “Aish, really!” He wanted to ignore the call but it was just so disturbing.

“Just answer it.” She replied coldly.

“Aish…” He took out his cell phone from the pocket while sighing. His eyes went bigger when he took a look at the caller’s name. He hesitantly glanced at Sunny.

“Why? Your girlfriend calls you? Just pick it up. She must miss you to death.”

“I told you, it’s not like that!”

“Just pick it up, I don’t mind.” She acted cold.

Leaving with him with no choice, he picked it up. “Hello? Why do you have to call at this time?” He sounded quite angry.

“Why? Are you with Sunny? Don’t you guys make up yet?” Hara was surprised.

“If we did, do you think I would be this stressed?” Sungmin said as he looked at Sunny who didn’t even look at him.

“Then… are you with her now? Can you give the phone to her?”

“Why? What are you trying to do? Don’t make it worse!” Sungmin sounded panicked as he thought it was not a good idea to solve the problem.

“Of course not. I’m trying to help you guys. Just give it to her.”

“This…” Sungmin hesitantly gave his cell phone to Sunny. “She wants to talk to you.”

She reluctantly took it. “What?” She asked Hara coldly.

“Yah, Lee Sunkyu, there’s nothing between me and Sungmin, don’t worry. I won’t take him from you. So, you don’t have to be over-jealous, alright?” She persuaded Sunny in her playful way.

“Wh… what?!” Sunny asked in disbelief, being shocked at the way she persuaded. “I’m seriously…”

Hara cut her off with a playful laughter. “I’m saying seriously. Sungmin won’t cheat on you, you should believe him. We don’t have feelings for each other, ok? Besides, I already have my own boyfriend!” She added excitedly.

“Well, I guess your plan with Sungmin worked.” Sunny said as she looked quite relieved that from what she heard, their story did make sense. She started to believe in them.

“Hm… it can be considered so, we are officially lovers now. So, you, forgive Sungmin, alright?”

“Not sure, I’ll think about it.” She still acted cold, maintaining her pride. She won’t go that easy on him.

Hara just laughed. She knew Sunny was just saying. Meanwhile, Sungmin was waiting anxiously while trying to listening to their conversation. He couldn’t understand what they were talking about since he was unable to hear Hara’s voice. Sunny gave the phone back to him, still acting cold without a smile on her face.

He took the phone hesitantly as he tried to read her expression. “How is it?” He eventually asked Hara if she did succeed persuading Sunny to believe him.

“Don’t worry, everything has settled!” Hara replied excitedly.

“What did you mean? She still looks serious.”

“Just wait for a while, she will come around.”

“Are you sure?”

“Of course!”

“Then, how about you? Did you solve your matter with Junhyung? Honestly, I am sorry too for not being able to help.”

“No worry, we are fine. I’m so happy.”

“What that was supposed to mean? Are you guys lovers now?”

Hara remembered what had happened that afternoon after Sungmin and Sunny left.

[Hara’s flashback]

All of a sudden, Junhyung pulled Hara towards himself which forced her to take a seat beside him. Her eyes went bigger. He moved to her closer and put his hand around her.

“Wh… why… why are you doing this?” She avoided making eye-contact with him. Her heart skipped a beat as he was close to her like this.

“Do you like me this much?” He asked proudly.

“What?!!!” She almost shouted and immediately turned her face towards him but got shocked again when their faces were just an inch away from each other. She got flustered and turned her face away again while Junhyung just seemed relaxed and enjoyed her reaction. “Wh… what made… made you to have to that kind of thought?” She kept stuttering.

“Well, it’s kind of obvious…” He laughed. “Anyways, even from the start, I know Sungmin is not your boyfriend, right?”

“Oh?” She seemed surprised that he already found out about that before the unexpected situation with Sunny.

“That girl from before…” He referred to Sunny. “She is the one who is his girlfriend, right?”

“How… how did you know?”

He laughed once again. “Hey, do you think I don’t know anything about our entertainment? They are celebrity couple, alright?!”

“Ah!” She bit her lower lips in embarrassment. How could she forget about that?! Sunny and Sungmin already went public with their relationship!

“Next time, you should consider carefully. Don’t pick anyone’s boyfriend to be your pretended boyfriend, ok?” He pinched her cheek gently. She smiled shyly. “Actually… I was going to confess to you…”

She interrupted in excitement. “Really?!”

“Then, you’re being so quick… I can see that you really like me a lot too, right?” Her cheeks turned red. “Well, then, let’s me ask you officially… do you want to be my girlfr…?”

“Yes, of course!!!” She shouted happily and hugged him tightly. Her shout had shocked other members of basketball team that were focusing on their practice. Junhyung just grinned awkwardly to them.

“Yes, I think so.” She said shyly, feeling embarrassed.

“That’s nice to hear then.” Sungmin was happy too for her. “Ok, then, see you.” He ended the call.

Sungmin looked at Sunny whose eyes were on the floor. She was zoning out. He wondered what she was thinking about. He took a step closer to her carefully as he observed her reaction in case she didn’t allow.

Suddenly, she reacted which shocked him that he almost fell down from sitting too close to the side of the bed. “You!” She pointed at him seriously. “If you hide anything from me again, you’re dead!”

His face brightened up. “Does that mean you’re forgiving me?!”

“Hm, silly!”

He rushed to her to give the tightest hug ever. “Thanks! Thank you so much!”

“Ah, I can’t breathe!” She said while smiling widely. When Sunny moved in his embrace, she unconsciously touched the swollen part on his forehead.

“Ouch!” He exclaimed and immediately let go of her. “It hurts~” He muttered like a kid while holding onto his head.

“Are you okay? I’m sorry.” She smiled apologetically. She took the small towel containing the ice and pressed it gently on his forehead.

“Can I move to more comfortable position?”

“Sure. How…”

He smiled brightly like a kid whose wish got fulfilled and immediately laid down on the bed where he used her lap as the pillow. She chuckled little before continued pressing the towel on his forehead gently to reduce the swollen.

He comfortably lying down while having his head on her lap and a wide smile never left his face. “This is so nice. It doesn’t hurt anymore.”

“Really? It doesn’t hurt?” Sunny smiled mischievously before purposely pressing stronger on the swollen area.

“ARRGGHHH!” His scream filled the space. It seemed they continued having their common fight after making up.

It was during recess. Sunny and Sungmin were having their meal under the shady tree.

Sunny gave a stern look at Sungmin. “I really hope you won’t leave me again.”

“Of course not~ From now on, all my times are for you…”

“Ouh~ So cheesy!” She hit his arm playfully which he just responded with a chuckle.

He suddenly became serious. “But, I’m talking the truth. Hara already got her dream boyfriend, now I should focus on my own girl.” He wrapped his arm around her neck. “Hm?” He planted a kiss on her cheek.

She was quite surprised and chuckled happily later while patting his lap. “Since when you become this shamelessly affectionate?”

“Well, since I knew that my girlfriend got jealous easily~” He pinched her cheek.

“Ouch!” She rubbed her cheeks. “I’m not jealous at all, you know?!”

“Hah!” He made fun of her. She pouted her lips cutely.

She took a bite of bread and offered it to Sungmin too. She realized that he brought along his guitar with him. “Why are you bringing the guitar here?”

“I have to practice. It’s for my schedule tonight.” He replied as he checked out the string so that a perfect sound would be produced.

“You have schedule at night? I thought you are free after evening.”

“Well, I’m such a busy person.” He jokingly said.

“Hah! Busy?! Busy flirting with other girls! Hmph!” She crinkled her nose.

“Aigoo~” He patted her head like a little kid. “Hm… what should I do to make my easily-got-over-jealous girlfriend feels at ease?”

“For your information, it’s not jealousy. I just stated the truth.” She still denied the obvious fact. He just laughed happily, enjoying her cute way of showing jealousy.

Sunny suddenly immersed deeply into her thought. She just realized that they were the only couple beside Hyunjoong and Tiffany who didn’t take a further step in their relationship. Taeyeon, Jessica, Yuri and Yoona, all of them had received the proposal from their boyfriend. She couldn’t help but feeling envious. She wondered when Sungmin would propose to her. Was he not ready yet?

Then, she heard he was singing while practicing playing his guitar. “It’s a beautiful night… we’re looking for something dumb to do… hey, baby… I think I wanna marry you~”

“Oh?” She turned to look at him at the last sentence that he just sang. “Wh… what… what did you just say?”

“Huh? What do you mean? I was singing a song.”

“Why?”

“I told you, it’s for the schedule tonight. I am going to perform this song.”

Suddenly, she felt it was suspicious. Was he planning to do what she had been anticipating for? Was he planning to propose on her radio program? She suddenly felt the happiness but didn’t want to hope too much to avoid being disappointed later. “Seriously, what kind of schedule do you have tonight?”

“It’s radio program.”

“Don’t tell me…” She suddenly looked excited, thinking her guess became closer to be true.

“No, of course not. I would have told you earlier if it’s your radio program. But, it’s the same time as yours. So, tonight I won’t be able to listen to your radio, sorry.”

She did feel a bit disappointed that it was not like she expected of. Then, she recalled back what he just said, “Did… did you mean you always listen to my radio program?” She couldn’t hide her excitement.

“Well… I think so.” He seemed quite embarrassed to admit it. “Then, why are you always saying that I didn’t care about my own girlfriend? I have always been a supportive boyfriend.”

“If you didn’t tell me, how am I supposed to know? Aigoo~” She patted his head cutely. She was very happy and satisfied to find out about that fact.

“But… you aren’t ready yet?” She hesitantly asked, trying not to be too direct of what she actually referred to.

“What?”

“Ready to accept me as your partner?”

“Well, aren’t you my girlfriend now?” He wrapped his around her and pulled her closer to him. “Why? Don’t you feel it enough?”

“No, that’s not what I meant!” She put off his hand from her. “When are you going to do that ‘thing’?” She asked referring to the proposal.

“That ‘thing’?” He looked clueless. “What is that?”

She eventually gave up. She didn’t know whether he was really unaware of what she referred to or he just pretended it but nevertheless, it made her felt pissed off. “Never mind. Just forget it.” She replied coldly.

“Alright.” He replied shortly before giving his focus back on his guitar, showing no interest of what she implied to him which of course annoyed her more. She took a deep sigh to calm herself down.

It was already night. Sunny even Taeyeon and Jessica were at the MBC building to attend their schedule. It was Sunny’s regular schedule which was Sunny’s FM Date where Taeyeon and Jessica were there as her guest.

“Tonight, there are a lot of fans compared to usual!” Sunny said excitedly as she looked many people gathering outside. “Let hear some noise!”

“YEEEAAAHH!!!” A loud cheer could be heard even from inside.

“Wow, it’s no joke! This is loudest cheer we ever heard. Even our PD got shocked by this too! Our listeners must be wondering who our guest is tonight! Together with us is… Soshi Girls! Welcome! Introduce yourself one by one!”

“2,3… Hello, we are Soshi Girls!”

“Hello, I’m Soshi Girls’ leader, Taeyeon!” Taeyeon led the greeting from each member.

Jessica continued, “Hello, I’m Soshi Girls’ ice princess, Jessica!”

“Me too! Hello, I’m Soshi Girls’ Sunny! Wow, no wonder we have such enthusiastic support today from both our listeners and audiences here! Today, I’ll be playing dual role, as the DJ and also as guest but I’ll do my best today.”

“Then, let me be the DJ tonight, you and Jessica can be the guess.” Taeyeon jokingly said.

“Omo, that’s good idea. We can altogether become the DJ and guest tonight!” Sunny read the comment from the listeners. “0891 said ‘I miss Taeng DJ!’ When unnie going to be DJ again?’”

Taeyeon let out her amused laugh.

“What is this? Did I get betrayed?” Sunny jokingly said. “Alright, how many times Soshi Girls have been here?”

“I think it’s our fifth time, isn’t it?” Jessica answered.

“It has been that many times already?” Sunny asked in shock.

“That’s right. Come to think of it, we have come here so many times.” Taeyeon continued to elaborate. “We first come when our debut, on that time Sunny was not a DJ yet.”

“Ah~ that’s right. It was our first appearance on radio program isn’t it? I still remember clearly how nervous we were on that time. It’s totally different to how we are feeling now.” Jessica commented.

“Soshi Girls just released an album a few days ago, right? Can our Jessica explain more about it?”

“Ah, it’s actually a mini album. It have 6 songs, there is pop dance, ballad and hip-hop too.”

“Hip-hop?! Is this the first time we are doing hip-hop, right?”

“That’s right. It also becomes the title track for this album, it’s called I Got a Boy.” Taeyeon replied.

“How do you guys feel when you first heard about this song? It’s a really unique compared to usual song that we used to promote.”

“Actually, when first I heard it, I think wow, it’s completely different and fascinating, and I also wonder if we will be able to pull it off but then, when we finished recording, I enjoyed it very much. It felt like a new experience.” Taeyeon explained in detail about her feelings towards their new title song.

Jessica added, “It might be quite confusing to some people when they first heard it but if you hear more of it, I’ll become better every time. I have also wanted to try new genre.”

“Nevertheless, this song is very accepted and got popular as it manages to achieve all-kill in 2 hours!”

“Woah!!!” All of them clapped their hands excitedly.

“We are very thankful to our fans for their never-ending support and we will keep work hard to show our best side to everyone. It’s very cliché, isn’t it?” Everyone laughed at Taeyeon’s remark.

“Now, let’s listen to I Got a Boy, the newest title track of Soshi Girls’ album.”

Sunny read one of the comments that was left by the listeners. “0749 asked, which members suited this concept the most? Anyone wants to answer?”

Jessica answered, “Personally, I think Taeyeon suited this concept the most. People may think that since she is the main vocalist, she would be less skilled in dancing, but when she started to dance in that hip-hop cloth, daebak!” She showed a thumb-up.

“She got swag~” Sunny added.

“Thanks, guy!” Taeyeon let out her ahjumma laugh.

Sunny read another comment. “0530 said, Taeyeon noona, I want to hear ‘my prince’ part. Ah, that part I think really is memorable to fans. Can we hear Taeyeon singing it lives?”

“Ah~ nae wanjangnimmm…” Taeyeon sang perfectly where it caused a loud cheer from the audiences outside. She let out her trademark ahjumma laugh again due to embarrassment.

“Oh, we just receive a call from our listener. Hello?”

“Yes, hello.”

“Can you introduce yourself?”

“Hello, I’m Lee Sungmin from Seoul.”

“Oh, what a coincidence! Anyways, how old are you?”

“I’m in grade 8 this year.”

“Oh, you are still a high school student… Then, who is your favorite member?”

“Oh… Sunny noona.”

“Oh, really?!” Sunny asked using her cute voice.

“It’s here, it’s here…” Jessica jokingly sighed as Sunny started showing her aegyo.

“Since you called us… what is your wish? Is there anything that you want noona to do?”

“Noona, I want you to marry me, is that okay?” Sungmin boldly asked.

“Wh… what?!” Sunny asked in shock but laughed later as she thought it was a common wish of every fanboys.

Taeyeon suddenly talked as she found something was strange. “But… his voice is familiar especially when he said out his wish. It sounded different compared to before.” As expected, Taeyeon was quick-witted.

Jessica added, “When Taeyeon said it, I’m sure I heard the same thing.”

“Oh?” This time, Sunny looked confused as it seemed like she was the one to figure it out. “Hang on…”

Before she could react further, Sungmin introduced himself once again this time in his real voice as before, he purposely changed his voice to sound like a high school student. “Hello, everyone! I’m Super Boys’ Lee Sungmin!”

“What is this?!” The girls especially Sunny was very shocked.

However, the shock didn’t stop there when they heard a sound of the door of the studio being opened and that time, Sungmin appeared in the studio with a bouquet of flowers in one of his hands and a guitar hanging around his neck. His appearance caused a loud cheer among audience outside.

“Yah! What are you doing?!” Sunny asked in shock and happiness at the same time.

Suddenly, the staff gave the script to Taeyeon where Taeyeon responded with clueless and confused face as she read it quickly. Meanwhile, the other staff was preparing the seat for Sungmin beside Jessica.

“Omo!” Taeyeon was still in bewilderment. “The PD just asked me to be the special DJ for tonight. What should I do?” She let out her nervous awkward laugh.

“Oh, yeah! Taeng DJ is back!” Jessica cheered as she was the most excited person in the studio for now. Sunny looked very happy but she was still being confused of what just happened. She just stared at Sungmin in disbelief.

Even it was such a sudden request, as expected, with her experience, Taeyeon didn’t fail to carry out the duty as special DJ. “I’m pretty sure our listeners must be confused of what actually happened. The person that called us just now is actually Super Boys’ Lee Sungmin! And, it’s not only that, he also appeared tonight as our special guest! Can you introduce yourself once again to our listeners?”

“Hello, I’m Super Boys’ Lee Sungmin!”

“Welcome!” He was welcomed with a round of applause.

“Your appearance has shocked many of us including Sunny too, right?” Taeyeon looked at Sunny.

“Oh, I really didn’t know. I seriously thought it was really a high school student before! He said today that he had schedule but he said it was another radio program, I never thought he would appear like this!”

“Do you like it?” Sungmin asked sweetly.

Another round of loud cheer from the audience that made Sunny blushed. “Urgh! We got goosebumps!” Taeyeon and Jessica said in unison.

“But, is there any special reason for your appearance tonight? You even bring along a bouquet of flowers and guitar. Is that for Sunny?”

“Of course.” Sungmin replied proudly before he got up to give the flowers to Sunny.

“Thanks. What’s gotten into you to give me flowers? You never did before.” She jokingly replied as she felt embarrassed and awkward when Sungmin showed this sweet side to her.

“But…” Jessica interrupted. “Is it Sungmin said something important before he ended the call just now?”

Taeyeon added excitedly. “Jessica is right. I heard something like proposal…?”

Sunny stared at Sungmin, anticipating his response. He won’t just blurt out that as a joke, won’t he? She really hoped he won’t destroy her hope when he was the one that made her become hopeful.

Sungmin was aware of her hopeful stare. “Before that, can I do something else first?”

“What? Are you going to perform? You even bring along the guitar.”

“Yes, I would like to sing a song. Actually, it’s for Sunny.” He said bashfully.

“Oh, really? Then, let’s hear now!” Both Jessica and Taeyeon got excited as they were already aware of what Sungmin was planning to do. Sungmin got up and went to prepare. “Sungmin, are you ready?” He showed an ‘OK’ sign. “Alright, now let’s hear a song that will be performed by Sungmin live!”

Sunny couldn’t stop smiling from ear to ear since his performance started. Her hope became bigger. He won’t say that it was just a joke after going to this far, won’t he?

“Lee Sunkyu…” He called out for her sweetly.

“O… oh…” Her heart couldn’t stop pounding crazily especially with his gentle voice.

“Kyyaahh!!!” Jessica and Taeyeon couldn’t stop being like fangirls as they were the witness of the proposal.

“Will you marry me?”

Finally… he said the words that she had been waiting to hear from him. Without any hesitation, she just automatically answered where she couldn’t hide her excitement in her voice, “Yes, I will!”

Sungmin finally could smile out of relief. He took a few steps closer to her. He held one of her hands. She stared at her in nervousness, anticipating the common gift of the proposal. He took out a shiny sparking ring from his pocket and put it on her.

Taeyeon as a DJ couldn’t help but telling everything excitedly in such details like she was the commentator of the football match. “Omo, he is coming closer to her… She’s just smiling but everyone can see the nervousness and flutter behind that smile… oh, will he give her a ring? He’s taking out something from his pocket…”

“It’s a ring!” Taeyeon and Jessica shouted excitedly like little kids.

Sunny jumped into Sungmin’s embrace. Sungmin wrapped his arms around her waist and hugged her tightly. They both smiled in happiness.

“Oh~ they both are hugging each other tightly now…” Taeyeon sounded envious.

Jessica added while chucking. “I thought today we are going to promote our new released album!”

“It’s okay, we killed two birds with one stone! Woho!” Taeyeon was so excited. “Everyone, please look favorably to our couple and please give a lot of love to our new album!”

After the radio program ended, Sunny and Sungmin were left alone in the waiting room. They both were silent and sat quite afar from each other. They were still awkward after their sweet proposal.

Sungmin kept taking a glance of Sunny as he felt embarrassed after serenading for her. It was the first experience for him. Meanwhile, Sunny just stared at the ring that she just got while smiling happily.

Sungmin hesitantly moved closer to her as he cleaned his throat awkwardly. “Wh… why aren’t you saying anything?”

“What~?” She pretended to act cool like nothing happened.

“After I did that, won’t you say anything?” He looked dissatisfied.

“Aish, seriously!!!” She suddenly burst into anger and hit his shoulder strongly.

“Ouch!!!” He exclaimed in pain and immediately kept his distance from her. “It hurts! Aish, why did you hit me?!” He rubbed his shoulder.

“Bad guy! How could you lie to me?” She glared at him.

“Then, should I just tell you directly that I was going to propose to you? Do you think it would be fun? Besides, I already sang that song to you when we met this afternoon, you should become aware of my plan.”

“Who knows? You may want to sing that song to any girl.”

“How can you think like that? I would only sing this song to the girl that I love because this song only meant for someone special for me, not for anyone.”

“You always like to joke around. Who knows?”

“Yes, I admit it but I won’t joke around for the matters regarding my love. I have always been serious about it.” He said seriously like a real man. Honestly, she found it was very funny every time he tried to act manly and she burst into laughter. “What the…?” He looked annoyed with her reaction.

“It’s really funny! You know what, you are the funniest when you tried to be serious!” She couldn’t stop laughing as she even had to hold her stomach. “Oh, my tummy!”

He came closer to her and wrapped his arm around her neck. “Oh, ho! You made fun of me?” His being close to her made her stopped laughing as her heart skipped a beat. He smiled mischievously and whispered to her ear, “You know what, you are lucky to have me loving you.”

She rolled her eyes as she let out chuckle. “Ceh! You are the one luckier to have me.” She said proudly.

“No, you are luckier.”

“No! It’s you! You are…”

He cut her off by giving a long sweet kiss. She was shocked at first but closed her eyes as a small smile could be seen on her face before she replied his kiss.
