Everyone also started to cheer while clapping their hands excitedly for Minho and Yuri whom they thought were kissing. However, Minho and Yuri were into their own world that they didn’t even realize what was going on around them. Yuri also didn’t move at all as it was still hard for her brain to absorb what was actually going on right now that she felt like everything was just a dream. Was this reality or her minds was actually playing a flashback from her memories with Minho?

The staff approached them as after a moment, Minho and Yuri didn’t move at all and stayed in that position despite the noise caused by the people around them. “Excuse me, I’m not trying to interrupt… but, it’s not quite suitable to do it here, isn’t it?” He asked politely.

Yuri just realized what happened like she was just awake by the staff’s voice from her dream. She lifted her body up which separated her lips from Minho’s and slowly got up in embarrassment. Minho also got up.

She looked around and just then, she was aware that she and Minho had attracted all the passengers’ attention towards them. “OH!!” made ‘O’ shape. “Ah, it’s really embarrassing!” She bowed her head while covering her face with her hands.

Minho also still seemed like was in disbelief as he never expected that this would happen again and it was just too fast. However, he obviously looked happy with the accidental kiss with Yuri that the smile didn’t leave his bright face.

“I’m sorry, I’m really sorry! It’s accidental!” Minho explained to the passengers while bowing his body. He couldn’t help but feeling embarrassed too. Despite the explanation, people still cheered happily for this couple since they indeed looked good together.

Minho rubbed his neck with a stiff smile. He took a look at Yuri. “I… I’m sorry…” He apologized to her.

“Hm?” Yuri also seemed confused as she looked at him blankly but the fact that she was happy too couldn’t be denied since her face looked brighter like many endorphins had been released in her body.

The staff who had been checking out Minho and Yuri finally voiced, “But… you guys are familiar… where I have seen you?”

Only then, Minho’s attention was changed on other thing apart the accidental kiss with Yuri. He looked at the staff which he suddenly got nervous back as now he had to find a solution to escape from this problem. “O… oh, oh?” He stuttered out of shock after finding out the same staff was on the duty when he got caught for not having ticket last time. This really made the situation worse.

“Ah!” The staff seemed already remembered why Yuri and Minho were so familiar to him which caused Minho to skip a heartbeat. “That’s why… you guys are the same couple!” He exclaimed, referring to the accidental kiss situation just exactly the same happened twice to Minho and Yuri before letting out a pleasing laugh. “It’s really fascinating, isn’t it? Meeting the same person on the train was a common thing for me but meeting same person in the same ‘memorable’ situation really extraordinary! What a great fate this is! Just feeling like riding a time machine!” He laughed happily.

“Hahaha…” Minho faked an awkward, stiff laugh, responding to the staff’s reaction.

“The difference is only that you guys are lovers now! You should thank me for the last time.” He nudged Minho while raising his eyebrow proudly.

“Ah, that’s right…” Minho rubbed his neck with a stiff smile on his face. Yuri just bit her lower lips in embarrassment.

“Anyways, can I see your ticket?” Yuri hesitantly showed her ticket to the staff. “Alright.” He returned it to her after checking. “How about you?” He turned to Minho.

After a silent hesitation, Minho finally uttered with apologetic look. “I don’t have it.” 

“WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?!! AGAIN?!!!” The staff couldn’t help but raise his voice due to the shock. Of course, his loud voice also attracted the passengers’ attention once again towards them. He also shocked himself with the loud voice. He spun around and said apologetically to the passengers looking at them. “I’m sorry, no worry. Nothing happen!” He cheerfully smiled before changing abruptly his expression to serious one when facing Minho.

“I’m sorry. Can you let this go for once?” Yuri asked from the staff, defending Minho.

“Well, miss… this is so serious…” The staff also looked hesitant as Yuri was the one asking the favor. He became weak when dealing with girls.

Minho felt guilty as Yuri was the one that apologized when she wasn’t the one do the mistake. “Hm, Yuri-ah… it’s okay. I can handle this. You can go back to your seat first.”

“But…” She protested while looking at him in concern.

“Don’t worry. I’ll be fine.” He gave assuring smile. He turned her around and gently pushed her by shoulders, asking her to go back to her seat.

The staff folded his arms in front of Minho. “So, let’s listen to what kind of excuse you have this time before I hand you to the police station.”

“Can’t you let me go, please? I have to see her today…. That girl… who is with me… that’s why, I have no choice but to do this.”

“Don’t tell me…” He looked into Minho’s eyes seriously. “… you still didn’t confess to her since that day?!”

“No, I have done it and we indeed have become lovers but… something came up, we broke up. And, now I am putting my effort to fix our relationship…”

“So?” He raised one of his eyebrows.

“So?” Minho looked confused.

“So, what is the connection to this?”

“Ah… I just found out that she was going to see her grandparents just now. So… of course I didn’t have time to buy the ticket…” He explained hesitantly since he was unsure whether the staff would accept it or not.

“Hey, can’t you just wait for her to come back? You are so obsessed over her, don’t you?” The staff sighed in annoyance.

“I was busy last week that I don’t even have time to see her and starting tomorrow, I won’t be able to see her too since I would be busy again with the practice. So, today is the only chance I got! I miss her like crazy!” Minho begged him with pleading eyes. “Please~ let me go! Just this time only! I promise there won’t be another time!” He lifted his hand up as he swore.

The staff shook his head vigorously. “Hey, do you want to get me into trouble?! I’m dead if my boss caught me! I have helped you once, this time is just too difficult.”

“Hyung-nim, please, I’m begging you!” Minho desperately asked. “Do you want me to kneel in front of you? Please help me! I won’t do this for no reason, that girl… she is very important for me! She is like a life for me. I can’t live without her, please let me go just one more time!”

The staff immediately stopped Minho when he was about to land on his knees. “Hey, why are you doing this to me?! Don’t be like this!” He took a deep breath before reluctantly agreed. “Alright…”

“What?!” Minho asked with a spark in his eyes.

“Yah, are you deaf?! I said I will help you!” The staff slightly raised his voice in annoyance.

Minho hugged him tightly. “Thank you so much, hyung-nim. Thank you so much!” He shouted in excitement.

“Yes, yes, I get it!” He immediately escaped himself from Minho’s tight hug. “There will be no more next time. If I see you again without a ticket, on that time, I’ll kill you with my own hands!” He threatened jokingly.

“Yes, sir!” Minho saluted playfully before walking away.

“Ceh!” He chuckled while rolling his eyes. “It is that nice to be in love…”He smiled happily seeing Minho who was walking excitedly, going back towards Yuri’s seat.

Minho carefully approached Yuri. She kept her stare on the window. Her expression couldn’t be read. He wondered what was on her minds. Was she concerned about him?

He sat in front of her. She immediately looked at him. Her expressions were mixed up between relieved to see him and at the same time, still worried what actually had happened. “Are you okay? Did you manage asking him to help you?” The worry in her eyes was obvious enough for him to realize.

“Yes, everything’s okay. Don’t worry.” He beamed. “Thank you for your concern and… also, I’m sorry.”

“THAT’S RIGHT!! WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS MAKING ME WORRIED?!!!” She suddenly burst into anger, shouting loudly to him. Her loud voice attracted attention from people nearby. She glared at him while breathing heavily.

Minho flinched as he raised up his legs, half-hugging his knees in scare. “Y… Yu… Yuri-ah…” He stuttered with his widened large eyes looking at Yuri anxiously. “Hahaha…” He faked a laugh as he looked surrounding with people’s eyes were on them again, feeling so embarrassed. He cautiously looked at Yuri back while slightly bowing his head. It felt like she had control on him. “I… I’m sorry, I won’t do it again.” He apologetically asked with his puppy eyes.

“Hm.” She replied shortly, receiving his apology.

A wide grin returned to his face. “You won’t hit me, right?” He cautiously asked while slowly putting down his legs like Yuri would hit him anytime soon when he placed his legs on the floor. He took her silence as agreement. He stared at her while smiling widely. He could see that she was trying hard to keep straight face though it was obvious a smile was seen on her face when she bit her lips to cover it.

He chuckled seeing her cute reaction and later, she couldn’t hide it anymore and burst into laugh too. “Yah, don’t laugh!” She scolded him while hitting his arm gently.

“I… I’m not laughing.” Minho became silent. He bit his lips to hold his laugh.

However, Yuri was the one couldn’t hold it as she kept laughing happily. Later, he laughed along with her, being so happy to see her like this.

After a quite long journey from Seoul to Busan for a few hours, it was quite tiring. However, the weariness immediately disappeared as soon as they reached at Busan. Breathing in the different air was indeed refreshing. Returning to the hometown was really good idea to clear mind from the problem.

Yuri closed her eyes while inhaling deeply to feel the nice air. “Ah~ so refreshing!”

Minho stared at her lovingly as he quietly smiled. He was glad that she decided to visit her grandparents here. A nice place like this would be able to be a great help for Yuri to be recovered from the pain of the past.

“Grandma, I’m here!” She ran into her grandmother’s embrace.

“Aigoo~” She Yuri’s back while giving her a warm hug. “When did you come here? You didn’t even inform anything.”

Yuri withdrew from the hug. “I just want to make a surprise!”

Minho approached them. “Hello, grandma!” He greeted cheerfully while bowing his body.

“Oh, you’re here too?” Grandma looked so happy with Minho’s presence. “It’s nice to see you come together. I have been missing my future grandson-in-law.” She took Minho’s hand and patted his cheek warmly. “Tonight, I’ll make a lot of food for both of you!”

Yuri and Minho froze at the mention of future grandson-in-law. He glanced at Yuri. Did grandmother not know yet about their current relationship? He whispered to her. “Should we tell the truth?”

“Hm? N… no, don’t…” She replied.

Minho looked quite shocked with her reply since he remembered that she asked him to explain clearly to Jooyeon last time.

“Yuri-ah, do you have problem? Why do you look so thin? Your face…” She looked at Yuri in concern. “You must have lost a lot of weight.”

“Oh, nothing.” Yuri lied so that her grandmother won’t be worried. “I’m just a bit busy lately with school.”

“Really? But still… you shouldn’t have skipped your meal even how busy you were. I really hate seeing my only granddaughter falling sick.”

“I get it. I promise, from now on I’ll always eat on time!” Yuri said excitedly to assure her grandmother.

Meanwhile, listening to their conversation just made Minho felt so bad and guilty. He was the one at fault for everything happened to Yuri and now, she had to lie to the grandmother also due to him.

“Where is grandpa?” Yuri asked after she couldn’t see him around.

“He is at the backyard, collecting the tomatoes.”

After that, they headed to the backyard to meet with grandfather. Yuri got quite shocked when she saw Minho suddenly ran towards her grandfather and wondered what exactly he was on.

“Grandpa, it must be so hard for you. Let me do it.” Minho gladly took the heavy box containing a large number of fresh tomatoes that were just picked.

Yuri’s grandmother smiled in satisfaction, being so happy her granddaughter picked up the right guy. “He’s really kind. You’ve got such a perfect guy, I’m so relieved.” She patted Yuri’s shoulder.

“Oh?” Yuri was still puzzled. “Ah, yes…” She forced a smile. She felt so touched every time he was kind especially to her family. Honestly, she felt like her love for him become deeper. Did this mean his efforts started to give a healing effect to the wound in her heart?

“Minho, you’re here.” Grandfather looked so happy that he immediately gave a hug to Minho.

“I come with Yuri.” After grandfather broke the hug, Minho pointed towards Yuri who was with grandmother.

“Grandpa, I’m here!” Yuri waved her hand in the air after grandfather looked at her direction, showing her excitement to be here.

“I don’t even know you guys are coming here together.” Her grandfather talked to Minho as he couldn’t stop smiling happily like it had been a long time since he heard happy news.

“Yuri just wanted to make a surprise.” Minho finally mentioned since the sweat could be seen on his face as the heavy box was in his hands since then. “Em, grandpa… where should I put this?”

“I’m sorry. I am so happy that I forget everything. You can put it there.” He pointed to the bench near to the backdoor.

Minho walked away to put the box down. Meanwhile, Yuri got into the house to take the water for grandfather and Minho too since they arrived, he had been helping grandfather picking up the tomatoes.

Yuri came closer to them with two bottles of water as she approached her grandfather first. “Grandpa, you shouldn’t overwork yourself. Take a rest first.” She could see his face was covered with sweat.

“Aigoo, my child, thanks.” He took the bottle from Yuri and drank it. “It tastes so nice since my granddaughter gave it to me.” His words made Yuri to smile widely. “Why did you suddenly decide to come here? Do you have problem? You look thinner.”

“Of course I’m fine, grandpa. I just want to take fresh air here. Besides, I miss grandma and grandpa a lot.”

“That’s good to hear then. You should eat more, ok?” Yuri nodded. “So, how is your relationship going? He treats you well, right?” He asked, referring to Minho.

“Oh…” She hesitated before deciding to not tell how their relationship was now. “We are just fine. I’m happy.”

“Really? I’m relieved then, besides I know he is really a good guy for you. I can feel it.” Yuri didn’t know how to respond, just smiled. “What are you doing here now?”

“Hm?” Yuri raised her eyebrows, being astonished for his question.

“Your boyfriend must be tired, waiting for you to give water to him.”

“Ah, yes… alright.” She nodded with a smile before approaching Minho who really worked hard, picking up the tomatoes that he didn’t even realize Yuri was nearby.

“Minho…” She called out him gently. He, who was squatting down, looked up as he heard Yuri’s voice. “Aren’t you tired? Take a rest first.”

He got up as he flashed her sweet smile. “Thanks.” He took the bottle that Yuri gave him and drank it.

“Are you okay? I heard that you have been busy throughout the week with the practice? Aren’t you tired to do this as soon as we reached here?” She showed her concern for him.

“Oh? You know that I have been busy with the practice?” A twinkle in his eyes showed how excited he was that she was aware how he was doing every day.

Yuri’s expression changed like she had been caught red-handed. “N… no, no… I mean… of course everyone would know… since, since there was always talking about the practice of basketball team of our college.” She lied. Actually, during the breaks at school, she would always coincidentally passed the court on the way to the class and she couldn’t help but observing silently his practice. He had always looked coolest in her eyes when he played basketball. She missed to see him playing.

He seemed quite upset but he was still happy that she was still aware of his condition. “It’s okay. Besides, it’s really fun!” He referred to the picking up the tomatoes. “I feel so relaxed and feel like, all my stress is gone.”

“Thanks.” She said sincerely.

“For what?”

“For everything. For treating my grandparents well and helping out like this.”

“Don’t worry about that. It’s my responsibility anyways.” He smiled as he said that but the smile disappeared as soon as it appeared. He found there was something strange in his words that could be misunderstood. It sounded like he was talking from the Yuri’s boyfriend’s view. “I… I mean, I thought them like my own grandparents.” He immediately corrected his words.

Yuri just chuckled at his cute action. He replied her with a shy smile. He continued the work and Yuri also lent her hand. She plucked the fresh tomatoes from the tree with her left hand, which was the one that got hurt before. She was about to put it into the box but unexpectedly, she dropped the tomato on half-way to the box.

She got very shocked of herself. She didn’t even let go her hold on the tomato but how did it can fall? She felt it strange but ignoring it, she picked it up back. However, the tomato fell again from her hand. This time, she couldn’t ignore. There was something wrong. Her heart suddenly beat faster like she was scared of what she might find out. She stared at her hand in disbelief. Her hand did shake a little though it wasn’t too bad but it was quite obvious to be observed. She really didn’t feel good about this.

She tried to keep being optimistic. She won’t give up and tried again to pick up but there was no use. Her hand dropped it again like she had lost all her energy in her hand. She clenched her other hand in anger, staring at her useless hurt left hand that started shaking more as she forced to use it. She couldn’t deny anymore that her guess was completely right.

She thought her hurt hand was already recovered since there was no bleeding anymore and just a dry small scar could be seen on the wound. She thought she could play piano and did other activities like usual soon. However, to find out the truth like this, just made her felt so hurt.

She didn’t realize that Minho had been keeping his eyes on her since then. He had observed everything that finally he also found out her real condition. He thought that since her hand wasn’t bandaged anymore, it had shown a quick recovery but that wasn’t the case.

He immediately went to her and took her hurt hand to observe it. “Are you okay? Did it still feel hurt?”

Yuri’s eyes went bigger as Minho knew about it too. She pulled away her hand. “No, there’s nothing happened. I’m fine.” She tried to avoid him by walking away.

Nevertheless, he couldn’t just let her like that and grabbed her for explanation. He took her hand once again to look at it. This time, Yuri couldn’t avoid anymore since his hold was too strong for her to fling off his hand. She looked frustrated to let him find out.

Minho looked very shocked. He could see her hand shaking a little. “Ha… have this happened long time to you? I… I thought your hand has recovered.”

She just remained silent. She didn’t have words to explain to him especially she was also shocked herself that her condition didn’t improve much.

“I’m sorry. This is my fault. I’m sorry, I’m really sorry.” Yuri could see that even tears started to form in his eyes.

“Minho…” She felt hurt too seeing that he was also suffered from the pain that she had to endure.

However, this conversation was interrupted. “Yuri-ah, Minho-ah, let’s take rest. The dinner is ready!” Grandma shouted from the backdoor of the house.

“Y… ye.. yes, grandma! We’re coming!” Yuri replied back, shouting too.

As they were having dinner, the day had quickly turned into night. After waiting for Yuri’s turn to shower, Minho spent his free time, talking to grandfather. They talked about various topics as Minho tried his best to avoid talking about his relationship with Yuri. It seemed like Yuri didn’t intend to tell the truth so he just followed what she wanted yet at the same time, he wondered what her reason was.

After Yuri had done, it was his turn to a shower. It was so refreshing one since he had been sweating a lot, working on the farm.

He came out from the shower room and walked into the living room as he dried his hair. He stopped when he saw Yuri in the living room. “Hi!” He greeted as he sat beside her.

She smiled brightly like she had been waiting for him. “Have you done? Do you want to go there?”

“There?” He frowned, wondering what she was referring.

“The place that I showed to you before, at the highland.”

“Really?” He asked excitedly as that place was on his mind too. “Together?!” He looked so excited that Yuri personally asked him first.

“Of course, since I am asking you right now.” She chuckled at his question.

“Oh, let’s go!” He got up excitedly which caused she to chuckle again for his cute reaction.

They got out from the house and went to the backyard, heading to the farm. On the way, they passed various types of plants that were growing quickly. They could feel the land getting higher as they were closer to the peak and further from the house.

Though the condition was very dark, he still could see her vaguely from the light reflected by the moon which was the only source of light brightened up the surrounding. He would sometimes steal a glance at her who still looked so beautiful under the moonlight. He was secretly grinned like an idiot.

Not long after, they finally reached at the peak. Both of them caught their breath after a quite long and tired journey from the house. However, it’s worth it as now they were enjoying a beautiful scenery which could never be boring now matter how many time being seen. There were a lot of houses and buildings which looked so small when being seen from here. The light from them created a beautiful pattern.

He still remembered clearly how important this place was to both of them. A lot of things happened and the one that he would never forget that they had their officially first kiss here.

They decided to take a rest as they sat down on the grass while enjoying the view.”It’s so nice to be here.” He started their conversation.

“That’s right, being here make me forget for a while all the problems.”

He was silent hearing what she said. He felt very guilty as all miseries that she felt were due to him. “Yuri, I’m…”

She cut him off. “Ah~ so comfortable!” She lied down on the soft grass by using her arms as pillow. She was aware that he was going to mention again about their problems and now she didn’t feel like talking about it. At the moment, she just wanted to clear her minds.

He followed her and lied down beside her. He understood what she wanted and just remained silent.

“We can see many stars too today.” She made motion with her hand like she was catching the stars which caused Minho smiled, observing her. They were silent for a moment since they ran out topics to talk about before Yuri started first. “When is your next match?”

“In a week.” He glanced at her once before asking, “Will you come?”

“Sure if I have time.”

“Seriously?!” He sounded so excited. “Thanks.” She turned her head to him and nodded while giving a smile before changing her stare to sky back. “You know what, I got really scared in the train before when you burst into anger.”

Yuri laughed. “Really? Am I that scary?”

“Yup!” Minho replied confidently and followed by the happy laugh from both of them. He was so glad that today, a lot of things happened which brought them much closer.
