In the evening, Jessica was in the kitchen, having her meal which was supposedly lunch. The schedule of Soshi Girls last night just ended this morning and they had to stay up through all night. The girls had already their lunch, leaving Jessica alone since she rather chose sleeping over food.

Onew entered the Soshi Girls' villa to meet her. He saw her in the kitchen and quietly headed there so she won't realize his presence. He wanted to shock her. As he was so into being careful, keeping his eyes on her, he accidentally hit the wall and exclaimed. "Ouch!" He rubbed his shoulder.

Jessica heard his voice. "Oh?" She found it was strange since the girls should continued sleeping now. She was only one supposed to be awake. She immediately turned her head towards that voice.

Seeing her turning head, he with widened eyes quickly hid behind the wall.

She looked around but couldn't find any trace of person. "Who is that?" Her question wasn’t answered by him. She frowned. She couldn't hear wrongly, couldn't her? The strange and horrifying thought suddenly came across her minds. "No..." She shook her head. Trying to ignore it, she continued eating.

After confirming the situation was safe now, he came out from hiding and approached her again carefully. When he was close enough to her, he wrapped his hands around her. "Woah!!!"

Especially she already thought nonsense things, she got more shocked than expected. She couldn't shout as was full with foods but it was much worse and the presence of food caused her to choke. She continuously coughed.

He got surprised too seeing her reaction. He took a seat beside her and patted her back to comfort her. "Are you okay? I'm sorry." He chuckled apologetically.

She finally calmed down after finding out he was the one that shocked her. She took a breath of relief while tapping her chest. "Yah, I'm really shocked!"

He grinned. "Anyways, are you taking dinner already?" He asked since it was too early for dinner.

"Actually, it is lunch." She grinned in embarrassment. "I had schedule until this morning. So, I had to replace my sleep time... Do you want some?" She lifted up the spoon, already being ready to feed him.

"Did you make it by yourself?" His expression immediately changed like he was asked to eat poison. She glared at him. "I... I get it." He quickly took a bite. "Hm... hm! It's delicious!" He exclaimed like it was unexpected.

"Did you think I will eat it if it isn't delicious? Of course it wasn't me who cook it." She admitted.

"As expected..." He mouthed while letting out a silent chuckle.

"What?!"

"No... nothing!" He shook his head vigorously. "One more time!" He exclaimed. She raised her eyebrows, not understanding what he meant. "Please give me food~" He asked cutely for another bite while making puppy eyes.

She laughed wholeheartedly as it was the first time he showed this much cuteness. "What happened to you, Lee Jinki?!" She hit his arm lightly.

"Hurry up~" He already opened his mouth, waiting for her.

"Yes~" She feed him. "Aigoo, since when you become such a kid?" She chuckled, so happy to see him acting like this. "But... do you have something important to tell me?"

"I have gift for you."

"Gift?!" A spark could be seen in her eyes at the mention of gift.

"Tadaa!" He gave something to her.

"Oh? What is this?" She observed and it was flight tickets. "What is this for?" He didn't answer but just smiled. She took a look at the location of the flight tickets. "Hawaii?"

"Actually, the real gift is there. So, we both have to go there to find it out." He gave unclear explanation.

"What is that gift?" She looked so excited especially when she was already happy enough for vacation at Hawaii.

"You will find out when we reach there. So, just wait for it."

She pouted her lips in disappointment. "Yah, can't you tell me what it is first?"

"There will be no fun then."

"Onew~" She called out cutely which made him smiled from ear to ear.

"Then... I'll be kind enough to give you one hint." She nodded vigorously with a wide smile. "That gift is..." He paused to make her more nervous before disappointing her with his hint. "... at Hawaii."

She changed her expression, glaring at him. "What is this?! Are you kidding me?!"

"Just wait for it later." He had so much fun teasing her. "We're leaving tomorrow. You should pack your things tonight." She nodded before continuing eating. He got up. "I'll go first." He patted her head gently.

"Alright, bye!"

He was about to walk but he stopped by himself. "Ah! I forget something."

"Hm?" She turned to look at him. He approached her back. He bent down to match their height since she was still sitting on the chair. He stared at her for a while which caused her to ask. "What's wrong?" She raised her eyebrows.

He smiled before stealing a kiss on her lips. She was taken aback with his sudden kiss. "I'm off." He immediately walked away out of embarrassment.

"Ceh!" She chuckled happily.

The flight finally departed. Jessica looked so sleepy since they were on the way to the airport as they had to wake up earlier, being worried of missing the flight. She immediately fell asleep as soon as her head touched something. Onew turned to look at her and was quite surprised but chuckled later, being amazed how fast she could fall asleep.

He liked to sleep too but books managed to distract him as he preferred to read. He held her head and placed it on his shoulder gently to let her sleep comfortably and at the same time, being careful to not wake her up. He put on his spectacles and opened the book, starting to read it.

The flight attendant came to their seat to serve food. "Would you have some food, sir?"

Onew gave a smile as he nodded. "Yes, please." As the flight attendant was preparing the food, he took a look at Jessica who was still sleeping soundly on his shoulder. The flight attendant gave the food to him. "Ah, thank you."

"What about your girlfriend, sir?"

"It's okay. She prefers sleeping over food." Onew said jokingly which made the flight attendant chuckled along with him. She slightly bowed her body before moving on to serve other passengers.

Onew opened the wrapper of the food and was about to take a bite but stopped with Jessica's sudden voice. "What are you talking behind me with that girl?" She sounded jealous.

"Oh, you startled me! I thought you are still asleep." She lifted her head up from his shoulder. She glared at him. Being clueless of her jealousy, he offered some of his food, "Do you want to eat?"

"Is that important now?"

"What?" He seemed confused but still it didn't stop him from eating since he had been craving for some.

“How can you flirt with other girl when I was asleep?" She looked really angry this time.

He almost chocked out of shock. "What did you say?!" He laughed later as he found it was cute and funny. "Did you mean, that flight attendant?!"

"Yah, I'm serious!" She became more annoyed with his reaction. "I heard everything, you even laughed with her!" She folded her arms angrily.

"You got jealous easily, don't you?" He seemed pleased with that fact as he couldn't stop smiling.

"It... it... isn't like that!" She still denied though it was so obvious. "Besides, that's not what we're talking right now. It's the fact that you flirted with other girl!"

"Hah, just admit it, Jessica Jung! You are jealous..." It seemed like he was asking the opinion from other people. "... is that right?!"

"Yes!!" A quite loud answer was given by a few people. Just then, she realized that their argument had attracted surrounding people's attention. People found they looked cute and sweet together and the fact that it was fascinating they saw for the first time how this celebrity couple interacted like other common lovers.

Jessica smiled in embarrassment as her cheeks turned red.

"Hm..." Onew rubbed his chin as he stared at her. "...what should I do so that you won't get jealous anymore?" He smiled widely as she tried her best to keep the straight face. He suddenly held her chin and turned her face before giving a sweet peck on her lips.

Her eyes went bigger as people cheered happily for them. "Yah! What did you just do?!" She hit his arm as she touched her lips. However, her face told clearly how happy she was. He just smiled in satisfaction seeing her reaction.

She came closer to him and whispered, "Did you know you have changed a lot lately, didn't you? You have become more shameless!"

“Well, what can I do when you also like me being this way~?" He said cutely while smiling like a fool.

"Hmmphh!" She crinkled her nose.

The flight finally landed after reaching at the airport of destination. The passengers went to the arrival hall before proceeding to take the luggage. After making sure they had taken all the luggage, Onew pushed the trolley to the entrance.

"Wow, what a nice day here!" Jessica surveyed around in amazement. The weather was very good for the vacation. The sun shone brightly like it was welcoming them.

They took the taxi to the hotel that they were going to stay at. It was about 30 minutes journey from the airport, they arrived. The hotel was so beautiful and luxurious which immediately became the choice of many tourists especially due to its strategic location at the beautiful beach.

Onew just went straight to the lift without heading to the reception desk. Jessica in confusion, just followed him behind.

"Aren't we going to check in?"

"Yes, we are now." He smiled to her before pressing level 6 of the buttons.

"Then, the key? And... How did you know where the level of our room located?" She frowned.

"Just wait and see." He just gave her a smile without explaining further.

They arrived at the level 6 and went out from the lift. Being clueless of what was going on, Jessica just let him to walk first as she followed behind. He eventually stopped in front of a room. She observed what he was going to do. And, it was so unexpected for her... he knocked the door.

She asked, "What is this? Are we going to stay with someone else?" He looked at her with a smile on his face without answering her question as there was someone opening the door.

"Oppa, you're here now!" A familiar voice welcomed them in front of the door.

"Sulli! What are you doing here?!" Jessica exclaimed in shock.

"Unnie, I miss you!" Sulli said excitedly as she was so happy to see Jessica.

"Wha... what is going on?" Jessica turned to take a look at Onew and Sulli simultaneously, asking for an explanation.

However, the things that would shock her won't stop there as there was another one was expected to shock her the most. Another person popped out from the room. "Unnie~" Krystal was grinning widely, standing behind Sulli.

Jessica got speechless until her jaw dropped. She was still in disbelief as she rubbed her eyes, ensuring that she didn't see wrongly.

Krystal pouted and asked, "Unnie, won't you recognize your own and only sister now?"

"Is that really you, Soojung-ah?" Jessica's eyes already got teary.

Krystal with a warm smile on her face, came out from the room and approached her sister. "Of course unnie, this is your beloved dongsaeng~" A smile finally appeared on Jessica's face as she confirmed it was reality but couldn't control her tears from falling since it became so heavy. Krystal cried along too seeing Jessica's tears. "Unnie! Ah, really... Why did you cry?!" She muttered as she wiped her tears.

"I'm sorry..." Jessica went to give a tight hug to her beloved sister. "I miss you so much!"

Krystal giggled cutely in Jessica's warm embrace. "Me too~"

Onew and Sulli smiled widely seeing the touching reunion of two sisters. Onew came closer to Sulli. "Have you been well?" He patted her head warmly.

"Of course." She grinned cutely. "Oppa?"

Onew nodded. "Me too." He put his hand on her shoulder and rubbed it. She wrapped her arm around his waist and leaned against his chest. Even they stayed in the same country, a place where they could easily meet but due to their own reasons, they couldn't. Sulli was busy with her study, preparing for the entrance exam while Onew was occupied with the hectic schedule as idol. So, a vacation like this was very suitable for all of them to spend time together leisurely.

"Actually, what is happening? How did you guys plan all of these?" Jessica wondered how they managed to make this incident happen.

"Unnie, I will tell everything later. You must be tired, right? Let's unpack your things first. You can stay in this room with me and Sulli."

"How about me, then? Can't I stay with you guys too?" Onew asked with puppy eyes.

"Oppa, how can you say that?! This is the girls' room!" Sulli gave a piece of her minds to her childish brother. She even hit his arm. Jessica and Krystal laughed at them. Sulli turned to Jessica. "Unnie, what did you do to my brother? He has become stranger lately."

"I don't know..." She chuckled while shrugging. "He really changed a lot."

Onew suddenly pulled Jessica from behind towards him. Because of that, she almost fell, just managed to lean against him. "Omo! What are you doing?!" She looked at him, frowning as she suppressed her smile.

"You don't have to pretend to be clueless. I become childish like this because of you!" Then, all of a sudden, he kissed her cheek. Jessica's jaw dropped out of shock that he had become this aggressive in showing skinship especially in front of people. Before, in the flight and now, he did it in front of their sisters.

"Argh! What did just I see?!" Krystal exclaimed in annoyance while covering her eyes.

"Oppa, you're really... Geez!" Sulli also covered her eyes.

Jessica elbowed him and gave a stern glare though it didn't seem like that as she tried to suppress her obvious blissful face.

"Then, where do I stay? Do I have to get a new room?"

"No need, you will stay with Minhyuk." Krystal answered.

"Minhyuk?" Onew frowned. He never heard about that guy.

"Yes, Kang Minhyuk." Krystal explained further about him. "He's our friend and group member."

"Group member? What does it mean?" Jessica asked.

"I'll explain later about that, but just know that he's also the member of the project that we are currently working on."

Sulli added, "He's also Soojung's boy..." Before Sulli managed to finish her sentence, Krystal covered . She gave do-you-want-to-die look to Sulli.

"Jung Soojung..." Jessica called with threatening voice.

"Y... yes?" Krystal let go of Sulli and turned to look at Jessica hesitantly as she was scared of the reaction would be given by her sister about the fact that she had gotten herself a boyfriend for the first time.

"Do you think I guess correctly what is on my minds now?" Jessica asked seriously.

"Unnie, well... first, don't get angry... I did... have boyfriend now." Krystal kept stuttering as she admitted.

"WHAT?!" Jessica widened her eyes.

"Unnie~ I'm not a kid anymore..." Krystal looked at Jessica with puppy eyes.

"That's right. She's already grown up. It's a common thing for her to be in love." Onew lent his hand to have side on Krystal.

"Thanks, oppa!" Krystal exclaimed happily and looked at Jessica with a hope that she would change her opinion.

"Wow, oppa! I never thought that you can be this cool." Sulli said happily.

"It doesn't mean that you can get a boyfriend easily. I'll still keep my eyes on you." Onew replied seriously.

"Ceh... What did I just expected..." Sulli sighed as she rolled her eyes.

"You didn't even tell me at all about this, Soojung-ah..." Jessica still looked serious.

"Unnie, our relationship just started and actually, I were going to tell you soon."

"How long have you known him? It isn't like I disapprove you having a boyfriend, I just can't help but being worried."

"Don't worry unnie. He's really kind and different from other guys. Later, I'll introduce him to you."

"Ok, everything is settled now, right?" Sulli interrupted. "It's strange for us to have long conversation at the corridor."

"That's right!" Krystal helped to bring Jessica's luggage in. "Unnie, let's get in."

"Oppa, you go to room 613. Minhyuk will be there. We already inform him about you." Sulli said to Onew.

Onew found Minhyuk's room and knocked it. A tall young guy came to open the door. He smiled as soon as he saw Onew. He immediately recognized Onew as besides the fact that he knew him as Sulli's brother, Onew was already known long before as an idol.

"Are you Kang Minhyuk?" Onew asked as he reached out.

"Yes, hyung." He gladly took Onew's hand for a handshake. "Come in." He moved aside to let Onew entered. He was about to bring Onew's luggage in but got stopped by Onew.

"It's fine. I..."

Minhyuk insisted, "Don't worry, hyung. I'm supposed to do this anyways." Onew replied with a thankful smile, as a sign of giving in.

Minhyuk went to bring the luggage in as Onew surveyed around, checking out their room.

Minhyuk came back. "Hyung, have you eaten? Actually, I just finished cooking my lunch and it is enough for two persons. So, would you have some?"

Before Onew could open his mouth to answer, his stomach grumbled. He smiled in embarrassment. "Well, I think you got the answer." They both chuckled before heading into the kitchen.

Onew took the seat as Minhyuk asked and Minhyuk went to serve the food. After finishing, Minhyuk took the seat facing Onew.

"I hope it fits your taste." Onew took a bite of the food as Minhyuk stared attentively his expression, hoping a good feedback. "How is it?"

"Well, I was not expecting this but it's really good." Onew showed a thumb-up in satisfaction.

"Really?!" Minhyuk smiled in relief. Winning the heart of his future brother in-law was the first step that he had to do before facing with Jessica later. Having a good impression of Onew might become a help for him later.

"It's really a relief to know you can cook." Onew said. Minhyuk looked wondered, being curious if there was any specific reason. "Since... these two Jung sisters are bad at cooking!"

"Ah, that's right!" They both laughed happily. Minhyuk suddenly became silent. "Maybe... hyung already know about us?" He was referring to his relationship with Krystal.

Onew smirked. "I hope, in the future you can cook delicious food for Krystal and take care of her every day. I think of her like my own sister." He already indirectly showed that he gave the acceptance for Minhyuk as Krystal's boyfriend. Though they just met, not even an hour, he was sure Krystal didn't choose the wrong guy, Minhyuk seemed nice guy, the guy who could match to Krystal's unique personality perfectly.

"Yes, hyung!" Minhyuk replied excitedly while showing his cute eye-smile.

"But, you have to be strong to deal with her protective sister later." Onew warned. "And, I wish you good luck."

"Hyung, you scared me!" Minhyuk suddenly looked nervous with just a thought of it.

Jessica was unpacking her things. Sulli and Krystal were also in her room to lend their hand... well, it's more to having girls' talk.

"How long have you known that guy?" Jessica asked while giving a serious stare at Krystal. That was the first question that started their conversation.

"Ah, unnie~ do we have to talk about that as soon as this?" Krystal whined and then, she begged her sister cutely to change other topic. Jessica didn't respond to her cuteness and just kept straight face as she unpacked. Krystal poked Sulli's waist.

"Ouch!" Sulli involuntarily moved aside due to Krystal's action. "Why~?" She frowned. Krystal pouted her lips, pointing towards Jessica, asking a help from Sulli. Then, Sulli awkwardly asked Jessica. "Un... unnie, how long you're going to stay here?"

Jessica answered cheerfully like there was nothing wrong. "At first, we planned to stay a week here but it gets shortened to four days. We were just informed this morning by our manager that we got a new schedule."

"Ah, it's so pity~ I thought I can spend time longer with my sister." Krystal pouted her lips in disappointment.

"However, I'm so happy enough to unexpectedly see you and spend time with you here! Aigoo~" Jessica pinched Krystal's cheek playfully. "It must be so nice for you to fool me, isn't it? You didn't tell me at all we're going to meet here."

"Unnie~ I didn't fool you! I just want to make a surprise."

"Then, how this happened? Did you guys plan from the beginning? Why didn't you just come back to Korea? Why bother to meet here? And Sulli, why didn't you take flight with us?" Jessica threw many questions.

"Unnie, actually everything was just a pure coincidence." Sulli just gave a short answer for all questions.

"Coincidence?!" She became more confused.

Krystal explained further. "She's right. Minhyuk and I are schoolmates and our school made a collaboration project in Hawaii with Korean school. We're chosen to represent our school and coincidentally... the Korean school is my previous school and coincidentally... Sulli got chosen. And, that's how we all are here."

Sulli added, "Before I went here, I called oppa and told him everything. Oppa said that it was such... once again, a coincidence that you guys had free time from schedule. So, we arranged everything until... now, unnie is here with us, unpacking things."

Finally, Jessica smiled widely after listening to them that everything really was a beautiful coincidence.

“What smell is this?” Krystal was awake from the nice smell of food from outside of her room. She got up and came out from the room.

She spotted Sulli was having her breakfast in the kitchen. “Yah~ you didn’t even wait for me…” She took a seat in front of Sulli.

“I thought you prefer sleeping~” Sulli grinned apologetically.

“Did you cook it?”

Sulli shook her head. “Roomservice.”

“Hah, as expected!” Krystal let out a mocking chuckle.

Sulli gave her a glare. “Soojung-ah… Don’t forget that I’m still better at cooking than you.”

Krystal stopped chuckling. “Well…” She couldn’t fight more and just raised one of her eyebrows. She looked around, looking trace of her sister. “Where’s unnie?”

“She is still sleeping, doesn’t she?”

“Really?! Where?”

“Well, I just guess. She’s supposed to be in your room, right?”

“She’s already gone when I was awake just now. Where did she go?” A frown appeared on Krystal’s face.

“It must be important thing that she even can wake up this early.” Sulli suggested.

“That’s right! This is the first time she’s awake before me.”

Krystal was just silent. She thought any possibility place that her sister might be. Meanwhile, Sulli continued having her meal.

“Oh my god!!!” Krystal suddenly shouted after a long silent that even shocked Sulli to the point that she almost chocked.

Sulli patted her chest to feel better. “What the heck?! You shocked me!”

“What if my unnie went to meet Minhyuk?!” Krystal looked so anxious with just the thought of it.

“Then, what’s wrong with that?” Sulli seemed didn’t understand about that and just continued eating, not showing interest of what caused Krystal to overact like that.

“You don’t understand that!” Krystal quickly got up, leaving Sulli alone in the kitchen and rushed to the bathroom.

“What was she worried about? It isn’t like Sica unnie will eat him up.” Sulli chuckled seeing Krystal become panicked like that.

Krystal immediately went to room no. 613 where Minhyuk and Onew stayed. She knocked the door strongly which soon was opened by Onew.

He looked rather shocked to see Krystal seemed so panicked like that. He put his hand on her shoulder. “Are you okay? What’s wrong? Anything’s happened?” She looked pale out of anxiousness.

“Where’s unnie? Is she here?!”

“No… why…?”

She cut him off. “Then, Minhyuk?”

“He’s not here…”

“What?! Then, where did they go?!” Krystal started to feel more uneasy.

“How did you know they are together?”

“Well…” She was unsure how to reply. “Oppa know where they are?”

“They didn’t tell me anything. Why? Are you worried your sister won’t accept him?” Onew seemed to get the reason of Krystal’s strange behavior.

“Honestly, yes. Since yesterday, she didn’t show good response to my relationship.” Krystal pouted her lips.

“Don’t worry, I think she’s just worried about you. I’m sure once she gets to know Minhyuk, it’ll be fine. Besides, I already got fond of him too.”

“Really?” Krystal looked a bit relieved hearing his comforting words.

Jessica was heading to the restaurant of the hotel. It seemed she wasn’t alone, Minhyuk was following behind silently. She thought it was the best place to interrogate… well, to know him better. He looked rather relaxed but he couldn’t deny that deep in his heart, he’s nervous too. He had to show his confident side, otherwise Jessica might have wrong impression on him that he did something wrong to her beloved sister.

She went to an empty table and waited for Minhyuk to come. “How’s here?” She asked for his opinion.

“I’m fine with anything.” He replied nicely while showing a warm small smile.

“Alright.” Jessica replied shortly without any smile and just kept her icy expression. Honestly, this reminded him when the first time he met Krystal. They were really similar, no wonder they were siblings. At the first glance, they seemed hard to be approached. However, he knew once he got to know her better, she would turn into the warmest person and that was he aimed for now.

After letting Jessica took her seat first, Minhyuk went to the seat that was facing her. He sat upright with determined expression on his face.

“Alright, first of all, Minhyuk-sshi…”

“Em, noona. You can drop the honorific with me.” He interrupted carefully.

“Ah, really?” Minhyuk finally could see a small smile appeared of her face. She continued, “Then, tell me first how you guys met.”

[Minhyuk’s flashback]

It was the first day at the school in America for Krystal. She couldn’t deny that her heart pounded thinking how she would adapt to this new environment, make new friends and also she still missed her friends at her old school especially Sulli. She felt kind of sad that usually, everyday Sulli would be by her side now, going to school together.

She took a look at her watch. “Oh no! It’s just my first day, I’m already late!”

She quickened her steps to the class. As she turned at a corner, she wasn’t aware of the presence of a student that was also walking towards her way and that caused them to bump into each other. “Ouch!” They both exclaimed.

She also suddenly felt something hot at her arm and saw the brown stains. Her eyes went bigger. It wasn’t there before.

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I’m really sorry.” She could hear a male student apologized to her in English.

She lifted her head up and looked at him. He was very cute with his small eyes and he was so tall that she had to lift her head up higher to have eye-contact with him. However, he didn’t seem like an American, he looked like an Asian. Nevertheless, neither of those things caught her attention now. It was the coffee cup in his hand that her eyes were fixed at.

“You…!” She pointed at him angrily. “How can you spill it on me?! See what you did!” She also replied in English.

“It’s my mistake, I’m sorry. Please forgive me.” He begged her while making puppy eyes. Honestly, she was wavered little by that, he looked so cute especially with his eye-smile.

“I… I…” She suddenly got speechless like she had been captivated by him. “Aish, seriously… what I’m thinking?!” She knocked her own head and talked in Korean with the thought that he might not understand her.

“Oh? Are you Korean?” She could see a sparkle in his eyes.

Besides, she was shocked too to find out that the first person that she interacted in this school was a Korean. It might be a good sign. “Y… yes, I am… sorry, I mean, yes.” She firstly replied in English but repeated in Korean.

“Look, I’m really sorry for what happened. I didn’t mean to do it. How’s about this?” He got an idea. “Can you give me your jacket?”

“Wh… what? Fo… for what?” She unconsciously covered her chest with her hands like she took his words in a bad way.

He was surprised of her reaction. “I… I didn’t mean in that way. I just want to wash your jacket on your behalf to show that I’m really sorry. That’s all.”

“Oh? Alright…” She took off her jacket and gave it to him. Her cheeks turned red out of embarrassment.

He smiled to her after taking the jacket. Honestly, that melted her heart. “I’ll return to you later.” She nodded hesitantly and seriously, her cheeks were just too obviously red. “Then, may I know your name and class?”

“Wh… what?!” She asked in disbelief.

He thought she might think that he was gone overboard with her privacy when they just met for the first time. “I… I’m sorry. Then, I’ll just tell my name so that you can pick up your jacket later. I’m sure tomorrow I can return back to you. My name is Kang Minhyuk and my class is 3-A.”

“I get it.” She replied shortly and coldly, just to cover her real feelings that she was afraid that he might find out. It would be so embarrassing. “I’m off.” She turned around, having her back on him and walked away.

He stayed there, staring at her walking away. However, she stopped after a few steps. She mustered her courage and said without facing him, “My name is Krystal Jung Soojung.”

A wide smile appeared on Minhyuk’s face after Krystal finally introduced herself. “Alright, nice to meet you, Soojung-sshi.” He replied.

A small shy smile also appeared on Krystal’s face before she walked away.

[End of the flashback]

The memory was clearly replayed in his minds. While smiling, he started to tell Jessica briefly about it. “It was when she first came to our school. We bumped into each other and I accidentally spilled the coffee on her jacket. It has been 124 days since it happened.”

Jessica looked quite impressed that a guy bothered to remember such details. “Is that the truth? Don’t you lie to me?”

“No, I’m not. I remember everything about her and us very clearly.” He said confidently. He added, “Besides, today is 34 days since we officially became lovers.”

“Alright… then, are you still confident if I ask you anything about Krystal?”

“Well, I will give it a try.”

Then, Jessica started asking a few simple details about Krystal such as her favorite food, color, her hobby, her birthday or anything special which he gave satisfactory answer for every question. “Not bad.” She replied as she nodded in satisfaction.

“It’s not hard if it’s about a person that we love. We love someone, we would be interested to know everything about her, whether likes or dislikes.”

Jessica smiled hearing his words. Their conversation was stopped for a while when the waiter came to serve the food.

Still feeling uneasy especially after they had gone for long, Krystal started to look for them at the lobby first. It took quite long time to observe around since it was packed with the new tourists from various countries came to check in.

She moved to look for them at the pool. Nevertheless, there was still no trace of them. After that, as she walked along the beach towards the restaurant, she spotted her sister. However, Jessica was alone.

“Unnie!” Krystal ran towards Jessica. “Unnie, unnie! What happened?!” She held Jessica’s shoulders tightly.

“What do you think?” Jessica raised one of her eyebrows playfully.

“Unnie, I’m serious!”

“You should go to see him and talk to him personally.” She said in depressing mood and she looked so serious.

That scared Krystal more. She couldn’t sense good news from Jessica’s expression. “Wh… why? What… what did you mean by that?”

Jessica yawned before she added, “I’m really sleepy. I had to wake up earlier today because of you.”

“Unnie, please!” Krystal didn’t want to let go of her hold of Jessica’s shoulder. “Don’t scare me like this. Tell me what happened. And, where is Minhyuk? Aren’t you guys supposed to be together?”

“Soojung-ah…” Jessica yawned once again. “I’m really sleepy…” She took off Krystal’s hands from her. “I left him at the restaurant. I’m sure he’s still there. I’m off.” She replied before walking away, leaving the frustrated Krystal there.

Krystal immediately ran to the restaurant. She looked so anxious. She looked around and spotted Minhyuk at the table with the distance of two tables from where she was. “Minhyuk-ah! Minhyuk-ah!!” She continuously repeated his name while calling out loud.

Minhyuk’s eyes went bigger as he saw her embarrassing action that attracted their attention of all customers in that restaurant. He got up as waiting for her to come near him.

“Minhyuk-ah!” She held his hand and stared at him in panic. “Everything’s fine?! What happened?!”

Minhyuk took a look at the surrounding as he even heard people started to gossip about them. He did feel very embarrassed with the attention especially it just seemed like Krystal was overreacting. “Let’s go!” Without any explanation, he grabbed her hand and pulled her out from the restaurant. She was still in confusion, just followed silently.

They headed towards the beach. Minhyuk held Krystal’s hand tightly as they both took a stroll along the beach. He looked so relaxed and enjoyed the stroll leisurely while Krystal couldn’t even keep herself from looking anxious.

“What did my unnie tell you? What are you guys talking about? It must be about me, right? What it is all about? It’s not a good news? Or, did she scold you?” She showered him with many questions.

He turned to look at her with a playful smile on his face. “Do you want to know it?”

“Of course!” She looked at him anxiously.

[Minhyuk’s flashback]

Jessica and Minhyuk had finished eating. He also seemed more comfortable with her after having conversation as they were having meal.

Jessica suddenly got up. Minhyuk asked after he saw her bringing along her purse, “Noona, are you going to pay?”

“Yes, why?”

He got up too. “It’s okay, it’s okay. Let me…”

She cut him off. “Don’t worry, the treat is on me.” He seemed still want to protest, she added, “I don’t treat anyone easily especially strangers. So, it should be an honor for you.”

He finally gave in. “Alright, thanks, noona.”

She patted his shoulder while giving a warm smile before proceeding to the counter. She came back a few minutes later and returned to her seat.

She looked at him with a playful smile on her face. “So, now… you must be curious of my decision?”

“Huh?”

She reached out. He looked confused but hesitantly took her hand for a handshake. “Congratulations. You passed the test.” She gave a warm smile.

“Th… then, I… I… can continue seeing Soojung?” He asked in delight. He was too happy that he kept stuttering.

“I’m begging you, please don’t hurt her.” She suddenly kept serious expression as she warned him.

“Yes, yes, sure. I won’t!” He firmly said to show that he meant it.

“I hope you understand why I’m being so protective towards her. We’re close since we’re little. I’m always the one who take care of her. Somehow, it feels like she’s my daughter.” Minhyuk chuckled along with her when he heard that. “Although she seems tough and cold like that, she actually is fragile inside.”

“Yes, I understand. From now on, I will take care of her for you.”

“Besides, don’t worry about my mom and dad. You got my permission, it means you got my family’s permission because I’m the most protective over Soojung.”

He laughed happily. “Thank you so much, noona.”

[End of the flashback]

“Well, what do you think?”

She eventually burst into anger. “Argh, seriously!!!” She shouted angrily while stomping her legs. “Why everyone wants me to guess?!”

He chuckled seeing her being so cute when getting angry. However, he still kept being playful. “But… the weather is so nice, isn’t it? Walking along the bench like this while holding hands…” He looked at his hand which was holding tightly her hand.

“Hang on…” She turned to face him. “Kang Minhyuk, why are you acting like this?! Ah, so frustrating!” She frowned. Minhyuk just smiled leisurely seeing Krystal overacting like that. “Don’t tell me… did my unnie ask you to break up with me?! That’s why you being like this?! Is this really the last time that we can walk hand in hand like this?!”

“Aigoo~!” He the crown of her head. “You really think too much, you know?”

“Oh?” She looked confused.

“Your sister has given permission to me to take care of you as your boyfriend!” He told her happily.

“Really? Really? Really?!” She held his arm while asking excitedly with a sparkle in her eyes.

“Of course, I’m telling the truth!”

“Ah!!!” She shouted loudly and jumped into his embrace. Her shout actually had once again attracted the attention of people around them. “It’s really a relief, I’m really happy!!”

“So… Soojung-ah…” Minhyuk felt so embarrassed to be the center of the attention especially people looked at them in a strange way. However, Krystal was just too happy to realize everything around them.

It was already night. Jessica seemed to have something important to go to since after finishing dressing up, she took a look at the mirror a few times to make sure she looked perfect. She even put on a beautiful dress.

However, she was still unsatisfied, she went to go asking for Sulli and Krystal’s opinion. They were watching television while Jessica just easily stood in front of television, blocking their view. “Girls, take a look at me!”

“UNNNNIEEE!!!” Both of Krystal and Sulli shouted at her for disturbing them watching the movie.

Jessica immediately moved aside while covering her ears. “Yah~ you guys are too loud!”

“Then, why are you disturbing us?! The movie is on its now!” Krystal answered in frustration.

“Alright, I just need two minutes.” She asked but just got ignored by them. “Then, 30 seconds?” She pleaded. They eventually agreed but just they paid attention to Jessica lazily. “How do I look?” She asked excitedly.

“Unnie, are you going somewhere?” Sulli asked.

“Yes, date.” Jessica smiled widely, showing her excitement.

“Date?” Krystal frowned. “With who?”

“Are you crazy?! With Onew of course.”

“Then, why are you wearing like this?” Krystal asked further since Jessica dressed up too pretty like she had to attend special occasion.

“Why? Is it strange?” Jessica bowed her head, checking herself once again.

“No, it’s fine. Since you wear like this, I thought you’re going to seduce someone, unnie.” Sulli chuckled.

“Oh, really?” Jessica also laughed.

“That’s right. Isn’t it just a common date?” Krystal still wondered.

“Well, who know, something special might happen. I’m just ready first.”

“What? Something special?! What is it?!” Krystal and Sulli eagerly asked, wanting to know.

“I don’t know too.” Jessica shrugged, pretending to be clueless.

“Unnie, what is it~?” Krystal asked in frustration with her voice sounded cute.

“Proposal?” Sulli said out what came across her minds.

Jessica’s eyes went bigger. “I… it’s not that!” She immediately denied though her cheeks turned red already.

“It must be right~!” Krystal and Sulli especially when she gave that suspicious reaction.

“I’ve to go. Onew must be waiting for me.” Jessica quickly escaped herself from the situation.

“Unnie, have a nice date! We hope everything goes smoothly.” They both laughed wholeheartedly, making fun of Jessica.

After just coming out from the lift, Jessica spotted Onew who was wondering around in the lobby, waiting for her.

She quickened her excited steps approaching him. “Hey, have you waited long?” She asked him, couldn’t hide her excitement.

“Nope, I was just here for a little while ago.” He lifted his head up and then, seeing her dressing up so pretty caught his attention. He observed her from head to toe.

She was aware of that. “Why? Is it strange?” Honestly, her dress was quite outstanding compared to her date partner since Onew was just putting on a jean, simple t-shirt inside the jacket.

“No…” He shook his head. “You look gorgeous, my princess!” He grabbed her hand and pulled her to walk with him. “Let’s go!”

She cringed at him using mushy words. “Aigoo~ who taught you to speak like this?”

“Not sure… I wonder who that person is…” He said while giving her a playful stare. She chuckled happily.

She wondered where he wanted to bring her. However, she resisted to ask him as she wanted to be surprised more, it would be no fun to know beforehand. Nevertheless, seeing where they were directing, she was sure it was towards the beach.

As they continued walking, even from a far, they already could hear the sound of wave. Jessica just followed Onew silently and they finally arrived near to beach. Then, she spotted a table with two chairs at the side under the coconut tree. There were a lot of foods prepared on the table. As expected, they were approaching that table.

Onew helped to move the chair for Jessica. “Please have a seat.”

“Thanks.” She gladly sat, looking so happy. This was the first time he prepared an event for her. Honestly, she couldn’t deny that she had been anticipating for long.

He soon took a seat in front of her. “How is it? Do you like it?” He excitedly asked for her opinion as he prepared a lot of types of Korean traditional foods.

“Did you prepare all these things?!” She couldn’t help but feeling so touched especially she didn’t have eat this kind of food so long. She really missed her mother’s cooking. She was so pleased that he understood everything without she had to tell him.

“Of course. I asked the waiters of the restaurants to help but all the foods, I personally cooked everything.”

“Are you sure?” She gave him a suspicious look.

“I’m telling the truth!” He emphasized as he made cute disappointed face.

She chuckled before adding. “Yes~ I believe you.” She cupped his face and shook it gently. “Aigoo~”

“Actually, I learned to cook these foods with my mom. That’s why, past few weeks, whenever I have free time, I will visit my family’s house.”

“Ah~ that’s why, I thought you’re meeting with other girl behind my back. I don’t dare to ask, afraid my wild guess would be right.” She explained as she pouted her lips.

“Yah, how can you think of me like that?!” His eyes widened out of shock. “Do you know how faithful I am? For me, one girl for one life!” He said confidently. Her lips curled at his mushy yet sincere words. “If you don’t believe me, you can ask Sulli. She witnessed me visiting there to learn cooking from my mom.”

“Alright, alright, I believe you!” She immediately replied seeing him desperately explained.

He smiled widely like a little kid who just got what he wanted. “I know that you must be missing your family so much and your mother’s cooking. So, I thought at least by cooking this food, it will make you happy. Aren’t you touched?” He asked proudly while raising one of his eyebrows.

“Hm! I’m really touched, satisfied?” She crinkled her nose cutely.

They both started to have their dinner. Onew was smiling in satisfaction seeing Jessica was eating hungrily. He didn’t even have to ask for her opinion of his foods since it must be so delicious from just observing her ate.

After their dinner, they went to take a stroll along the beach with hand in hand. Since they became singers, this simple dating had been their small wish without need to think about protecting their identity and now it had been granted.

Jessica lifted her head up and looked at him. “Thanks… for everything.” She was so thankful for what he had done for her, planning this vacation, letting her to meet her sister and now preparing for the event. She couldn’t ask more than that anymore because what he gave was more than enough to make her felt the happiest.

He kissed the back of her hand and gave her a warm smile. “Ah…” He suddenly stopped walking. “I forgot to give you something.” She turned to face him.

“What is it?” Her eyes sparkled as she anticipated something special from him or precisely, she for a while hoped that it was something that she had silently wished for, the proposal. “Gift?”

“Yes…” He took out something from his pocket as she seemed more nervous. “Here…” He opened the box in his hand and as expected, it was a ring, a really beautiful one.

A wide smile plastered on her face. It could be like she thought, could it? Her heart even started pounding, wondering what he was going to do next. Was he going to kneel to propose to her?

He took her hand and put it on her finger. “How is it? Do you like it?” He asked, looked quite nervous and worried that she might not like it.

“Yes, it’s really pretty. Thanks.” She couldn’t stop but kept smiling widely. She stared at the ring happily. She lifted her head up, anticipating the question that she wanted to hear.

However, he just beamed at her without any sign that he wanted to say something about the gift that he just gave. Slowly, the smile faded from her face, she sensed the thing won’t turn out like she wanted.

After feeling frustrated that he didn’t take any action, she eventually asked. “What is this ring for?”

“It’s a gift.” He simply replied, of course made her feel more disappointed.

“Yes, I know. Is there any reason behind it?”

“Well…” He smiled shyly which caused her unintentionally to carry hope again. He continued, “… to show that you’re mine…”

“And?” She still wasn’t satisfied and couldn’t help being hopeful.

“That’s all…” He rubbed his neck out of embarrassment after saying such thing.

“That’s all?!” She unconsciously raised her voice slightly.

Onew was quite taken aback of her reaction. “W… why?”

She cleaned awkwardly. “No, nothing.” She forced a smile. “I was just too shocked that you give me this.” She added sarcastically.

He was clueless about that and just felt glad that she liked it.

She turned her head to other way, where was hidden from Onew. She clenched her teeth while grasping her hand, how frustrated she felt right now that he let everything remained unclear.

Though it was already late, Sulli and Krystal were still watching the television. Actually, they weren’t that focused on the show since both of them looked very sleepy. It seemed there was something else on their minds.

“Whaatt~ ttiimee~ is it now?” Sulli asked while yawning as her eyes was on the clock hanging on the wall. “It’s already late. When are they coming back? Let’s just go sleep first.”

“But, I want to know if your oppa really did propose to my unnie.” Kyrstal protested.

“Ah, that’s right. I forget about that.” She agreed to wait for Jessica.

And, then, they heard the sound of door was opened and got so excited. Jessica walked weakly towards them with heavy steps. Her expression didn’t look like how a person who just came back from a date.

“Unnie, how is it?!” Krystal asked excitedly.

“Did my oppa propose already?”

Jessica looked quite disappointed and unhappy but Sulli and Krystal didn’t notice that since the ring on Jessica’s finger got their attention.

“Unnie, congratulations!!!” Krystal and Sulli got up excitedly before circling around Jessica happily while cheering loudly for her. They couldn’t stop their excitement for this good news.

“Unnie, I never thought that I will have brother-in-law this soon!” Krystal hugged Jessica tightly. “Unnie, I’m so happy!”

“Unnie, finally my wish is granted!! Unnie will become a part of my family soon!!” It was Sulli’s turn to give a tight hug for Jessica.

They continuously cheered happily and excitedly like they were in the party. Even Jessica tried to explain but they were just so excited that they weren’t aware of her.

“Hang on!!!” Jessica had to shout in order to stop them. Krystal and Sulli covered their ears as their eyes went bigger. Jessica looked so frustrated and took a few deep breathes while clenching her teeth.

“Unnie, what’s wrong?” Krystal put her hand on Jessica’s shoulder, comforting her.

“It isn’t like what we are thinking?” Sulli asked carefully.

“I don’t know…” Jessica pouted her lips and then, went to slam herself on the sofa.

Krystal and Sulli looked at each other in astonishment. Then, they both took seat on the left and right of Jessica.

“What do you mean by that, unnie?” Krystal asked.

“Aren’t my oppa proposing to you? Then, how can you get the ring? It’s supposed to be from him, isn’t it?”

“Yes, that’s what confusing me right now, geez!” Jessica really couldn’t hold her temper anymore.

“Unnie, explain to us. I don’t understand.”

Jessica took a deep breath to calm down herself before explaining everything. “He suddenly gave me this but he didn’t say anything. He just said that the ring was for proving that I already belong to someone.”

“Just that…”

“Yes! He didn’t even mention anything about marriage!” Jessica hit the pillow to let out her anger. “What exactly he meant by this ring, I don’t understand!”

Sulli and Krystal also seemed confused. They continued discussing about this matter between them as Jessica remained silent, still looked upset.

“But, he already gave you a ring…”

“When a guy gave a girl a ring, is there any other meaning?”

“Maybe he did indirectly propose?” Sulli said out her opinion.

“Then, he just should mention directly to me, isn’t it? Why make it so difficult by beating around the bush?” Jessica protested Sulli’s opinion.

After being silent for a moment, Krystal finally voiced excitedly. “Unnie, I got an idea!” Sulli and Jessica turned to pay attention to her. “What if…” Krystal paused, making them more anticipated her idea. “… unnie propose to Onew oppa!”

“Are you crazy?!” Jessica threw the pillow in her hand towards Krystal. “How can a girl propose to guy?!”

“Well, what’s wrong with that?” Krystal asked while shrugging. “Is there any rule of that?! No, right?”

“But, still… it’s embarrassing!”

“What’s so embarrassing? You’re just going to ask a person to be your life partner.”

“But, it’s usually guys who should do it! Not me, a girl!” She emphasized the fact that she was a girl which sounded so funny to Sulli and Krystal who started to laugh at her.

Sulli eventually agreed to Krystal’s idea. “But, unnie. She’s right. Unnie has to propose to oppa.”

Krystal added. “It’s just fine, unnie. Nothing’s wrong with a girl propose to her guy, alright? But, you may make it a list in history.” Nevertheless, she still didn’t miss a chance to tease Jessica.

“Ahhhh~~~ I don’t want toooo~~~” Jessica stomped her legs cutely.

“Don’t worry, unnie. We’ll help you!” Krystal and Sulli made a high-5. “Yeah!”

In that evening, Jessica had the discussion with Sulli and Krystal about the proposal that she planned for tonight. They didn’t forget to include Minhyuk as well as it was important for them to have the opinion from a guy’s perspective. Besides, they might have better plan with the assistance or suggestion from him.

“Ah~ finally we’re done!” Jessica lied down her head on the table. It was so just tired to plan and now, she had to focus on working it out.

The time flied so fast and it was already night. They just had a simple dinner to fill the stomach. It was only 30 minutes left before they decided to start their plan.

“Unnie, are you ready?” Krystal asked. She looked so excited to be involved in this plan and to find out the outcome.

“Well, not sure…” Jessica couldn’t hide her nervousness.

“What?! It’s time soon…”

“I’m just about to do crazy thing, won’t I get nervous?!” Jessica slightly shouted just to make herself feel better. “Ah, seriously~~!!!” She whined cutely. She still couldn’t believe herself that she was going to propose.

Krystal, Sulli and Minhyuk couldn’t help but laughed at her.

30 minutes later, as planned, Sulli went to room no. 613 where Onew was supposed to be. She knocked the door. He came to open a few seconds later. “Oh, dongsaeng, where have all of you been?” Actually, he had been looking for them. He didn’t see any trace of Minhyuk, Jessica, Krystal and his sister since the evening. It made him wonder that three of them disappeared at the same time.

“Actually, oppa… that’s not important thing right now.” Sulli pretended to act anxious and worried.

“Why? What’s wrong?” Onew started to feel uneasy seeing her expression.

“Jessica unnie…”

“What happened to her?!” Onew held her shoulders. This time, he expected a bad news from Sulli and couldn’t help feeling worried.

“She suddenly fainted. She is with Krystal right now. We don’t know what we should do.” She acted to be panic well that there was no doubt in his eyes.

“Th… then, then, where’s she now?”

“At the beach.”

Onew closed the door behind and immediately went to beach with Sulli showing the way to him.

The condition at the bench was quite dark. It was already late, so there were not many people around. The restaurant already closed, therefore the source of light was only from the moon. He couldn’t see very well let alone looking for Jessica.

“Sulli-yah, where are them?” Onew asked after he couldn’t spot anyone in that dark condition also he didn’t realize that Sulli was already gone. He asked again after getting no reply. “Sulli-yah…” There was still no answer. “Where did she go?” He looked around, he could see vaguely that there was no one around.

Meanwhile, by hiding in the restaurant at one side, though it wasn’t clear, Minhyuk and Krystal could see Onew from there. Soon, they were joined by Sulli.

“Everything’s fine?” Krystal asked Sulli.

“Yes, I think he will aware of it soon.” She nodded while smiling confidently.

Onew wondered what was actually going on. What had happened to Jessica and how could her sister just disappear like that? As his eyes wandering around, he spotted a bright light that was heart-shaped and vaguely saw a person inside it.

Krystal asked after a moment Onew still didn’t move. “Why he didn’t go there?” She referred to the heart-shaped light that was produced from the flameless candles that she and Minhyuk helped Jessica to arrange before. “Don’t you tell him to go there?” She looked at Sulli.

“Yah~ doesn’t it sound strange when I just suddenly ask him to go there?”

“Then, how can he know to go there?”

“He must be curious of it and will go there to find out.” And, then Onew started to move towards that heart-shaped light. “See? He goes now.” All of them stayed silently observing what happened.

As Onew came closer, he could see more clearly the figure and he was sure that it was a girl. After he was close enough, Jessica turned around and smiled to him.

He was so taken aback. “W… what are you doing? I thought you fainted…”

“You can guess what I’m doing right now?” She questioned and asked him to take a look at the flameless candles that made the heart shape. He was speechless, only a wide smile could describe how he felt right now.

Meanwhile, Krystal, Sulli and Minhyuk also looked nervous for them like they were in Jessica and Onew’s place. They really hoped everything would turn out fine.

Jessica took a deep breath. She mustered her courage and said out loud. “Lee Jinki! Will you marry me?”

“Hurry up, hurry up! It’s time now!” Krystal announced that it was the time for the next plan.

Minhyuk took the guitar and brought it along with him. The three of them came out from their hiding place and approached the couple. “SURPRISE!!!”

Onew turned around and was shocked to see all of them were also here. Then, Minhyuk started to play the guitar while Krystal and Sulli sang a part of song ‘All for You’.

Onew stared at Jessica lovingly before shouting loudly. “ALRIGHT, JUNG SOOYEON, I’LL MARRY YOU!!!” Jessica smiled bashfully, looking satisfied with Onew’s reply to her proposal.

Onew ran towards Jessica before lifting her, in his embrace up in the air and spun around. “Argh~” Jessica shouted in happiness.

“Yeah!!!” The three of them cheered loudly for them.

After the proposal was done, Krystal, Sulli and Minhyuk were volunteered to clear up everything that was used for the proposal. Also, they wanted to give private time to the couple to talk.

Jessica and Onew went to take a stroll along the beach. She started the conversation. “There’s something I’m curious.” He looked at her, paying his attention. “Why did you give me this ring?” Before Onew could open his mouth to answer, she cut him off, adding. “I don’t want to hear the same reason as before.”

He smiled. “No, I wasn’t going to say that.” He stopped walking and faced her to talk properly. “Actually, it’s for the proposal.”

“Wh… wha… what?! Are you going to propose to me on that day?!” She asked in disbelief.

He hesitantly nodded while smiling shyly. “Honestly, I didn’t have enough courage. I was worried that you might reject my proposal.
