Friends... Wait, what?!
I'm Only Shy on the Outside!
Then the bell rang... telling me I had just missed class. It was the first class of this year and I hadn't even ever arrived at the place. I never missed class, oh my gosh, Chanyeol had distracted me from attempting to find my class any longer, and-
"Aw, I guess we missed our classes," Chanyeol said with a laugh. How could someone be so... Calm and cheerful after basically... unintentionally skipping class?
"Y-yeah. I guess-"
"Hey HyeRi!" I heard Eunhye's voice.
I quickly spun around, happy to finally have found her... Well, she found me. Eunhye was slightly taller than me, with straight, dyed light brown hair. Well, I had dyed hair too, but it was darker than hers. Why would I dye my hair? It was sometime over summer vacation, it took weeks with bleach and all, and it was when EUNHYE FORCED ME TO. Well, at least it was fading away a bit... Okay, going back to her. She cheerful, attractive, and pretty popular with the guys at our school. Yes, someone like that was friends with me.
"Eunhye, where were you this morning? I didn't even make it to class!" I whined.
"I'm sorry okay? I had to... Who's that?"
I turned to see Chanyeol still standing there behind me, I had forgotten he was there. Well... I assumed he'd leave by now, but... He didn't... Why?
"Um... Eunhye this is Park Chanyeol," I replied, still confused on why he was still there.
"Hello, it's nice to meet you!" Eunhye said, cheerfully.
They started to have a long conversation that made no sense to me what so ever. I sighed. I was really jealous of those two... How could they both be so cheerful and talkative? They were talking nonstop as if they hadn't just met and at this rate, sooner or later, those two will be best friends or something. Still not really understanding their conversation, I tried to discreetly walk away when...
"Hey, where are you going?" Chanyeol called out to me. Dang it, why does he notice everything? No... How?
"H-haha, nowhere... ActuallyIneedtogotomylockerbye!" I said quickly leaving the two looking confused. I dashed through the crowd and I skidded to a stop at my locker. I hunched over, taking in deep breaths. As I stopped, I suddenly felt the pain from earlier reappear... It's okay, it'll be gone by tomorrow... I didn't know exactly why I had rushed over here, but might as well use this time to replace my book and find the class. I looked at my schedule, science with... Lee seonsaengnim. ...Who was that again? Oh god...

"Hey, HyeRi! Why'd you run off without me!" Eunhye called out to me after finding me outside the classroom door (Yeah, I can't believe I didn't get lost). Apparently we had the same class... "Why were with Chanyeol while skipping class? You know he's one of the most popular guys at school, right?" He is?!
"I was lost and he was just standing there when I met him! I'm sorry, I felt... Awkward. I had no idea what you guys were talking about!" I replied, truthfully. "You weren't even talking to me so I decided it wouldn't matter if I ran off..."
"How are you normal around her, but shy around me and everyone else?" A voice said. My eyes widened and I looked behind me. Just as I had thought, Chanyeol was standing behind me... Great, we're all in the same class...
"That's because she's my friend," I said. Wow... I didn't stutter!
"Then lets be friends!" he said in his usual cheerful tone. I stood there looking at him, surprised. Who could suddenly ask that after they has just met? Oh yeah, normal people that aren't me... But I barely know him and for all I know he could-
"Yeah, she'd love for you to be her friend!" I heard Eunhye's voice say.
"Great!"
