It was hard for Kyuhyun to go up the hill for he felt very weak. Seohyun tried her best to support him as they walked up. 

Finally they were able to reach the top and they both inhaled the fresh air. The wind was cold and the sun was about to set. Usually during these times they would sit side by side and watch the sun set together. This would always make her happy . Now, the setting sun is nothing but a timer for her. 

She remembered her future plans for the two of them. Will they still be able to do those things? Could this really be it? Seohyun closed her eyes hard and let out a big sigh to stop her from asking herself these questions.

Kyuhyun looked at the huge tree in front of them.

“I’ve made a decision.”

“Decision?”

“Yeah.” he answered. He walked towards the tree and placed his palm on its trunk.

“I’m not going to die.” He then turned his gaze towards her.

“Instead, I’m going to live within this tree.”

“What?” Seohyun didn’t quite understand what he said.

Kyuhyun smiled. “Before my life be taken from me, I’ll give it to this tree. . . and live within it.”

Seohyun approached him and placed her hand on his forehead, thinking he might have a fever or something.

“I knew coming here was a bad idea.”

Kyuhyun laughed and removed her hand from his forehead.

“I’m serious.”

Seohyun could tell that he really was.

“Then....then I’ll come too.”

“What?”

“I’ll go with you.” She gave him a gentle smile.

Kyuhyun laughed once again “ No, you cant”

“Why not?” Seohyun walked passed Kyuhyun and lay her back against the tree. “If you could do it… Why can’t I?”

Kyuhyun walked towards her and tucked her hair behind her ears.

“You have to stay.”

Seohyun smiled at him “ I know.”

She placed her hand on his cheek

“...by your side.”
