Someone was confused as to what happened to Lay. He cut himself during the time Meili had passed away. He cut the hand that was holding onto Meili's hand under tha blanket. The loss of blood would've taken longer but it just seemed to have fit with the moment in the story, it takes a while after you've cut yourself to die from the amount of blood; so Lay committed suicide in order to be with Meili. That's why he ended up dying.

The time was from around 1:30 -the time she passed a way- till about 5 or 6 in the evening that Lay had died. My idea was that Lay had cut himself around 2 from a piece of glass he had found around them. Meili's family came because Lay had called Yulan , her brother,  to tell them that she had passed away. So yeah. 

The ending was fast, but I had planned on this happening over at least 3-5 days after she had come home from the hospital. This one was short and less descriptive than I would've liked but I'm still growing as an author and I will try to make a "full length" fanfic.
