"Emi! Make sure you don't break anything!"

"Okay halmeoni~" you were just 4 years old visiting your grandmother's shop as your mother had left to take care of some errands. A girl at your age, you wanted to play with your grandmother but you knew she was busy with other things that all you could do at the moment was to play by yourself with a red bouncy ball in your hand. As you bounced the ball around the floor in the front, it slipped from your control and began rolling to a shelf full of antiques. You began to panic and chased after it as you knew your grandmother would've been upset with you if you broke something. As it was about to hit the shelf, a foot appeared out of nowhere to stop the ball in it tracks. That was not the only thing he stopped as you ended up crashing into his leg as well making you stumble back a bit. You rubbed your nose as it felt a little itchy from the impact, and noticed a hand reaching down to pick up your ball.

"Here you go little girl," a man's voice said as you saw your ball being handed towards you. You smiled gleefully and took the ball from his hand and bowed in kindness like your mother and grandmother had taught you.

"You are quite adorable," you heard the man said as he bent down to meet at your eye level. You blushed at the sight of the man's face as you thought he looked like a prince from a fairytale with his smile and pale complexion.

"T-thank you," you shyly said as you tried to hide your blushed face. The man chuckled at the sight of your shy self and reached out to ruffle your hair.

"Himchan," you heard your grandmother called out. You both turned to see your grandmother behind the counter looking slightly unamused.

"Hello Eunkyung," Himchan greeted your grandmother. "You have a lovely granddaughter."

"Thank you," your grandmother responded with a smile as he she looked at you. "But lets cut the smooth talk and straight to the point shall we?"

"Why of course," Himchan nod in agreement. You quickly zip towards your grandmother and tug on her long skirt.

"Halmeoni~" you called out as you looked up at her for her attention.

"Yes dear?" She asked. You gestured her to bend down to your level, making your grandmother giggle in amusement.

"Is he a vampire?" You innocently asked in a hush tone. Your grandmother smiled and your hair and cheek.

"Yes he is," she answered. "Your powers are developing well my dear."

You smiled happily at the compliment and bounced up and down in glee.

"Now go play okay?" She told you. "Grandmother has some business to take care of okay?"

You nodded and turned around, only to almost bump into Himchan's leg again. You looked up at Himchan and blushed as he gave you a smile and waved hello to you, causing you to run away in shyness.

"Your granddaughter is quite talented already sensing what kind of supernatural I am at such a young age," Himchan informed your grandmother as you observed you from afar, following your grandmother toward the back of the shop.

"She is, isn't she?" Your grandmother said with a smirk. "I'm planning to leave this shop to her when she grows older, so I suggest you don't anger her as I predict that she will be quite powerful in the future."

"Of course..." He replied as he sat down on the chair your grandmother had gestured him to sit on earlier. "And I'm sure she will grow up beautifully like you have, Eunkyung-ah.

Your grandmother scoffed at his words and looked at him unfazed by his flirtatious words.

"You better not hit on my grandaughter in the future because I will haunt you when I pass," she threatened as she didn't like the idea of a playboy of a vampire to hit on her grandbaby when she is at age. He chuckled at her threatening comment and continued on the conversation on why he was there.

About an hour passed when you heard chairs move and footsteps heading towards the front. For some reason you couldn’t help but brighten up at the sight of Himchan appearing before you. He was in your opinion very handsome like a prince in a fairytale. As he and your grandmother exchanged goodbyes, you ran over and tugged on his pants. He looked down and gave you a smile. You motioned him to bend down to your height, which he was happy to do so.

“What’s wrong?” Himchan asked you. You stared at him innocently before taking hold of his face in your tiny hands and pulled him towards you. Himchan’s eyes widen when you pecked his lips and watched you slightly amused as you quickly let go of him. You giggled and rushed over behind your grandmother and blushed at your bold action as you had finally kissed the princely vampire.

“Looks like your granddaughter likes me already,” Himchan grinned at your grandmother, who stood there slightly shocked and taken back by your action.

Present

“And that my dear is the real story of how she lost her first kiss,” Himchan explained. You and Yongguk stared at him with your mouths slightly opened as a reaction to his story.

“That doesn’t count!!!” You spoke up. “I was only four years old! I didn’t know what I was doing!”

“But you still lost your first kiss to me,” Himchan grinned. “And I’m honored that I hold that title.”

“You hold no such title!” you retorted. “I don’t remember any of that!!!”

Himchan clutched the area where his heart was at, faking hurt.

“I am simply hurt that you would not remember how you had your first kiss with me,” Himchan told you. “I thought we had something special.”

“Well you would be a e if you thought such thing,” Yongguk told Himchan as he brought you closer to him. You giggled at his statement and kissed his cheek as a thanks for his support. Yongguk turned to you and softly smiled before leaning down and quickly gave you a peck before pressing his forehead against yours. As you continue to have a loving moment with Yongguk, Himchan couldn’t help but softly smile at the sight while mentally wished that he was the one holding you.

“Your granddaughter has definitely grown-up well, Eunkyung-ah,” he thought as continue to treasure and hold the memory dearly to his heart.
