The universe is drumming
And news keep coming
They talk about everything
Except for that one glaring thing

Could it be that it sting?
Were they worried of what it would bring?
Are we supposed to mean nothing
When there certainly was something?

It's bright and glowing
Don't you feel it's mind blowing
Like that peek of sunlight in the morning
Or the loud siren that screams warning

I had a flash of inkling
From that dash of twinkling
Is this a wrongful feeling?
Was I the only one left reeling?

Never did I dreamt of a fling
Nor did I ask for a ring
The only thing I'm asking...
Why do they insist on this masking?

How could they not be gushing
Such chemistry that left them blushing
And the whole universe went heating
Right at our first meeting?

Will you too, keep avoiding,
When all is revealed in your breathing?
Will you dive into the underlying,
Or will you keep up the pretense even as you're dying?
