The next morning Hebe woke up feeling particularly happy because of yesterday, she looked over to where Ella’s bed but she wasn’t there. Hebe quickly went around the house to see if Ella was in the bathroom, but Ella wasn’t in there either. Then three knocks was heard at the door, Hebe made it to the door and opened it. She was greeted by a bunch of flowers and a smile she knew so well.

“Morning!” Ella greeted, she handed Hebe the flowers and walked inside before Hebe could say anything. Following Ella was the hotel service man; he pushed a tray inside with a deluxe looking breakfast.

“Enjoy your meal” He said and closed the door after leaving

“What’s all this for?” Hebe asked, she meant the bunch of flowers and pleasant surprise

“Well I want to officially ask you a question, if you say yes I guarantee you, you will enjoy it. But if it’s a no, too bad you miss out” Ella said hiding her message

“Huh?” Hebe already had what Ella meant inside, she was waiting happily for Ella to ask

“Do you want to have breakfast with me?” Ella asked

“What?” Hebe was expecting more from Ella, Hebe showed her disappointment as her smile dropped.

“Do you Hebe want to be my girlfriend?” Ella asked again as she saw Hebe’s face brighten and blushed. Hebe nodded, as she looked up into Ella eyes.

“Then I can have the breakfast all to myself right? Since you didn’t want it before” Ella teased as she pretended to push the tray away.

“Hey!”

While having their delightful morning meal Ella couldn’t help gazing at Hebe enjoying her meal.

“Ella quit looking at me, I can’t eat” Hebe blushed avoiding Ella’s eyes

“I can’t help it, you’re beautiful”

“Stop it now or I’ll run away”

“Okay okay, I’ll try not to” Ella laughed

“Hebe?”

“Yeah?”

“If anything ever happens, remember I love you” Ella spoke softly, her message was short but the meaning was deep, Hebe could tell it wasn’t just that.

“I love you too” Hebe replied

“Yup, Hello? It’s Ella” Ella received a phone call from her assistant

“Hello, are you coming back today?”

“Yes, soon. I remember our schedule. Don’t worry, Bye” Ella ended the phone call

“Who is it?”

“Just work, we’ll take the 8 o’ clock trip back”

“Oh okay, I’ll make in time for work” Hebe added and went back to finishing her meal.

When they came back form the island, Ella drove Hebe home to change and then to work as well. After being Hebe’s driver Ella went back home to attend to her own schedule.

“Miss. Chen did you enjoy your day yesterday?” Assistant Cheng asked as he welcomed her home

“It was great” Ella smiled widen as the memory of yesterday popped back into her head again.

Ella went into her office and the guys followed her in.

“Did anything happen yesterday?” Ella questioned

“There was an incident, the Leo’s threaten one of our mates in the downtown district to stop working there, or else they would deal with us themselves” One of the guy reported

“Not those nuisances again” Ella signed

“Tell them, if they stay on their side we will on ours, other than that, don’t mess with them. Not yet anyways” Ella ordered

“I understand” He said and left

“Anything else?” Then suddenly Ella’s mobile phone rang. Ella’s expression change immediately after hearing who it was

“Hello baby” Ella said sweetly making the guys smile secretly at her
“I miss you, already” Hebe said sulking

“Was there something you needed me for?” Ella asked softly

“Um, are you coming out for lunch later?”

“OF course I’ll come at 12 don’t worry, okay bye”

After ending the call Ella turned around, she suspected something was going on behind her back. The guys were trying not to laugh and stood as still as they could.

“Ahem” Ella tried to clear the embarrassment

“Okay, well where were we?”

“You were talking about your date?” one of the guys joked

“Alright, you guys can go now” Ella said feeling her face redden by each second.

Ella spent her time going through her schedule tasks for the morning. There were many little things she had to attend to, but right on before it strikes 12 Ella was already off to Coffee to meet up with Hebe for lunch.

“Hey hunny” Ella hugged Hebe as soon as she saw her.

“Wait, I’m still working” Hebe tried to walk escape from Ella sudden embrace

“Ooooohh, are you guys dating?!” Rainie asked instantly

“Yes” Ella answered happily as she turned to Rainie, allowing Hebe to finish off her work

“Awww, I knew it!” Rainie exclaimed, letting out a squeak

“Hahaha, can I get a latte please?” Ella said tiring to avoid further questions

“Okay!” Rainie rushed to the bench to make the latte

Ella made her way towards a chair to sit down and wait for Hebe, she watched Hebe taking the orders and walking back and forth doing her job.

“Hey Ella, here’s your latte” Rainie said placing Ella’s latte in front of her

“Thank you” Ella smiled and gave it a sip and place it back down on the table

“Delicious” Ella commented

“Really? Or it’s because you’re your staring at Hebe?” Rainie said tracking down what Ella was looking at.

“I mean the latte” Ella said laughing

“Sure, sure” Rainie said unconvinced

Hebe finished off her last order and made her way over to where Rainie and Ella was, they seemed to be chatting about something funny by looking at their face expression.

“I’m done” Hebe said after taking off her apron.

“Here I’ll put that away you guys go have lunch” Rainie said and took Hebe’s apron and pushed the two out the door

“I’ll be back quick!” Hebe said to Rainie, Rainie gestured Hebe to go and have fun

“Where do you want to go?” Hebe asked

“Hmm I’m not hungry anymore seeing you is enough for my tummy. But I wouldn’t want to starve you baby, what do you want to eat?” Ella said pinching Hebe’s cheeks

“Hmmm, I feel like Japanese” Hebe decided

“Okay!” Ella said and held onto Hebe’s hand as they walked together to the Japanese restaurant. They were like any other couple, hand in hand and laughed at each others jokes.

The next day Hebe tried calling Ella but no one picked up, Hebe called Ella again and again but Ella still didn’t pick up. Finally after work Hebe got a taxi to Ella’s house, where she was brought to forcefully the second they met. Hebe smiled to herself as she stepped upon the familiar steps and the same front door. Hebe knocked on it three times and waited for someone to open.

“Hello”

“Hello, I’m Hebe, is Ella home?”

“Ella isn’t home she has been out all day, something to do with work I guess” The maid explained kindly

“Thank you” Hebe said gracefully and left in disappointment
Where could she be? Hebe thought to herself. Then Hebe had an idea where Ella might have been, maybe she went to the bar or something, Hebe thought. So she instructed the taxi driver to drop her off at the bar. Hebe went inside to check, Hebe went straight to the drink bar, but Ella wasn’t insight, she was getting worried that something might have happened to Ella. The day was getting dark already; Hebe spent quite a few hours finding Ella, there were no answers from her calls. Hebe ended up walking on the streets to see if she had any lucky in finding Ella. But suddenly out of nowhere shadows were seen in the far distance, there were a gang of people heading to wards and ally. What was happening there Hebe thought. She wanted to back away but something driven her to the danger zone.
