Baby Steps
Special Someone (CURRENTLY EDITING)
Since Luhan and Lay left earlier,
Baekhyun and I had to take a taxi back to our dorms.
When the taxi passed by a park,
I stopped the driver and said that I want to get off.
"Wait, what are you doing?"
"I can't go back to the dorm yet.
I'm not ready to face Hyora.
I'm afraid I might spill the beans."
Baekhyun nodded and paid for the fare.
We got off the taxi and went
to the playground in the park.
It was already around 8pm,
so the park was quite empty.
The only people that were around
didn't recognise Baekhyun too.
Thankfully.
I sat on the swing and not move.
I just thought about the words Jaeli told me earlier on.
Her mum made sense, and so did she.
I was starting to think if joining sm was the wrong thing.
I turned to Baekhyun to see him talking on the phone.
To think I was hoping he'll come and talk to me.
A while later, I suddenly felt
someone pushing me from behind.
I turned around to see Baekhyun.
"Lift your legs off the ground,
if not how will you swing?"
I smiled and said,
"I don't want to play it. Just wanted to sit here."
"Really?"
Baekhyun then sat on the swing beside.
"Yea. I used to come to this playground
when I miss someone."
"Who?"
I shook my head,
"you won't know him. Anyway,
you're such a liar."
"Me?!"
"Yes, you! You told me there was nothing
you could do about the Jaeli thing!"
Baekhyun laughed.
"That wasn't much, right?"
I shook my head again,
"you're wrong oppa.
It was really... Enriching.
Thank you."
"You're welcome.
Your manager just called anyway.
I told her that you were still talking to Jaeli.
She's glad you get to learn about Jaeli's problem too."
"Oppa, I can't thank you enough."
"Why?"
"I don't know.
It's like, for three times already,
you helped me when I'm completely lost at what to do.
First the dinner thing,
then the butterflies,
and now this Jaeli trivia."
"I see. Maybe this is fate like what Jaeli said?
It's fate that I'll meet you and help you,"
he chuckled.
I smiled and purposely commented,
"corny."
"Hey! What did you say!"
Baekhyun then came to my front
and pulled me off the swing.
"Oppa!"
"How dare you say I'm corny?!"
He then pulled me to the merry-go-round
and spun it at the fastest he could go.
"No! I'll feel dizzy!"
"Serves you right!"
We were both laughing so loudly that
I was so sure people classified us as
public nuisance.
Baekhyun then got up the merry-go-round too
and knelt in front of me.
"_____, I just want you to know that,
I'll always be there for you when you're stuck okay?
Just tell me. I'll surely be there."
I nodded. I was really touched that
someone was so caring to me.
"Thank you oppa."
I then hugged him.
