Seriously the birds outside can be so loud especially in the morning. I tried to block my ears but that didn't help. Giving up I open my eyes only to see a giggling Lay infront of me.

"Morning" He whispered still giggling with a tip if the blanket in his hand holding it to his lips

Seeing that smile made my heart soft. Lay....

"Morning" I said as i ruffled his hair smiling

"yah!" Lay yelled but of course it wasn't convincing since he was still giggling

"what are you giggling about?" I asked as i put my arm around him and pulled him closer to me

"nothing" Lay continued giggling

I raised my brow "there must be something for you to be giggling like that" 

"Well it's just that you looked so cute when the birds were bothering you" Lay giggled

He saw that? "Yah why were you staring at me while i was sleeping"

"what else could i do" I said with an innocent face

I smirked "well you have to pay a price for staring at me" i said as i planted a soft kiss on his pink lips. Immediately he blushed making me giggle.

"Yah! Why did you do that?!" Lay said as he lightly slapped my shoulder then threw a pillow over his red face to hide himself. I laughed as i pulled him closer to me and he immediately hugged me. His body felt so warm...

Lay I don't know where you got those bruises from but I'll make sure you are safe from now on. No one's going to hurt you, not when I'm here to protect you.

Flashback

After gently dabbing the clothed ice on the bruises i threw them in the sink to melt. I then buttoned up Lay's shirt incase he gets cold later on then put a think blanket on him. I gently touched his cheek. Lay I'll protect you from now on, so please tell me when something's wrong. I wanna be there for you whenever you need someone... I planted a kiss on his forehead before getting in bed with him. He wouldn't mind right? I mean we have already slept together

End of Flashback

"Thanks for the ride Kris" Lay said as I parked infront of Love Hotel Club

"Anything for you" I smiled at him 

"sometimes you can be so cheesy" Lay giggled

I smiled "I'll see you later than" 

Lay nodded then got out of the car and closed the door . "Bye" He waved

"bye" I smiled and pretended to drive off. When i saw him enter the building in the rear-view mirror i parked the car in an empty spot and went inside, looking around for Lay. I looked around for a while then i saw him...talking to that guy from the other day. They looked serious.. I wonder what they're talking about.... I watched as Lay went to a room in the back while the other guy just stood there. I tiptoed to the room slowly trying to keep out of site. 

RING! RING!

My eyes widened i quickly took out my phone from my pocket and turned it on scared some heard the ringing. 

"hello" I whispered into the phone

"hey kris, I just wanted to let you know that your dad just came to the store. He was asking about you and I told him that you might not come today" Chanyeol said

My dad? What the hell does he want now? "where is he right now?"

"With the manager, She said she wanted to talk to him about something" Chanyeol replied to my question

manager? What does she want to talk about with my dad? I ruffled my hair in fustration. Seriously that old man never lets me rest in peace! "Thanks Chanyeol, I'll be skipping work today then" I said into the phone

"alright, then see ya tommorow" Chanyeol and hung up

After few second of thought, i put my phone in my pocket.  I walked to the door and looked through the little window in the door. My eyes widened. In the middle of the room stood a women and a man in their 40s. Both yelling at Lay while he just stood there looking at the floor holding his hands tightly. I felt like someone stabbed me a million times. Just as i was about to open the door, the middle aged man went to the table and got a belt then started whipping Lay with it.....
