"Kris why were you late today?" My  manager asked

"oh well I kinda slept in" I said as i rubbed the back of my neck

"Oh you must have been tired. You should have slept longer" She replied looking at me with worried eyes

"no I'm fine right now" I faked a smile

"as you wish, you're shift ends in half an hour. Tell me before you leave okay?" she smiled as she winked at me

"sure" I said trying to not show how disgusted i was. "I'll get back to work if that's all" I said then walked out of the room

God sometimes she scares me. Why like me from all people here. And she's even married! god that's gross!

I slowly walked to the back of the store and carried some boxes so i can put them on the shelves. Half an hour then I can go visit Lay. I keep on thinking about him and this is something i have never done before. Sure i was drunk yesterday and usually i'll just forgot about the person i spended the night with, but LAy was different. I just couldn't get him out of my mind, could it be i fell in love with him? most likely...This morning I really didn't want to leave him but i had no choice i couldn't be late for my job the manager's husband is already looking for a reason to fire me. He hates me since he thinks i "flirt" with his wife what he doesn't know is that it's the opposite. Anyways I wonder what's he's doing right now...Did he read my note?

Flashback

I slolwy opened my eyes suffering from a massive headache and right in front of me layed Lay sleeping peacefully. Images of what happened the night before flashed in my mind and I couldn't help but smile forgetting the headache. He looked so..innocent. Gently i brushed his hair smiling like a total idiot. Lay, did you know that you are the first guy i slept with?

*BEEP BEEP*

I looked around the room trying to figure out where the sound was coming from, I got of bed and looked in the pocket of my pants that layed there on the floor and took out my phone. 

"hello?" I said into the phone rubbing my forehead

"Kris where are you? You are already 1 hour late and the manager is getting mad" Just hearing the deep voice i knew it was my friend Chanyeol who also worked with me at the grocery store 

"WHAT?!" I looked that wall clock and he was right, it was 8:30.  "I'llberightthere" I said that in a hurry and hung up. I quickly grabbed my clothes and put them on. Just as I was about to rush out the door, I remembered that Lay was still sleeping. I looked back and saw him sleeping so comfortably. I didn't want to wake him up so i grabbed a sticky note from my pocket and a pen that i always kept with me and wrote a note 

Did you have a good sleep? 

I have to go right now, but I'll be back later to visit you. 

You will wait wouldn't you?

I don't know why but for some reason i put a random heart in the end...weird. I was going to erase then i remembered it was with a pen...guess that heart is staying there for good. I put the sticky on the side table and dashed out before i get more late for my job. 

END OF FLASHBACK

"Kris our shift is finished" Chanyeol came to me all happy, well that was normal. Chanyeol always smiled no matter what. And because of that everyone called him Happy Virus, actually i think it suits him a lot.

"finally!" I smiled "Yollie I wouldn't be able to go come with you today, I have to go somewhere else"

"Is it a girl again?" Chanyeol smirked. I couldn't help but laugh

"not this time, kay then see ya tomorrow" I said as i quickly waved and ran off to sign out. I didn't want to see the manager again, she always disgusts me. 

I entered the room that i used last night. I looked around seeing if there was evidence of that happened yesterday...none. It looked like a totally normal room.... Should i be disappointed? Just as I sat on the bed, there was a knock on the door. I rushed to the door thinking it was Lay, but instead it was somone else. 

"Hello sir" The boy at the door spoke. "can i help you with anything?" 

"can I talk to Lay?" I slolwy said thinking if Lay would be working right now or not

"Lay? Do you know him? Wait did you also forget his birthday?" He laughed "Don't worry you're not alone"

"Birthday?" I said raising my brow

"oh you didn't know? It was his birthday yesterday" He told me now confused 

"I guess I forgot" I said as i rubbed the back of my neck. So it was his birthday yesterday "So where is he? I should probably wish him" 

"oh I'll call him for you, please wait here" The boy said as he left

I waited by the door waiting for Lay. When I heard a knock i quickly opened the door and saw a forzen Lay with his eyes widened. Haha I guess i scared him

"hey" I smiled 

"W-what are you doing here?" Lay said trying to get back to his senses

"Didn't I say I would visit you" I don't know why but i keep smiling like a idiot when I see Lay. Guess i really fell for him...hard

"oh.. well did you need something?" He asked staring at me with empty eyes

For some reason I felt like someone had stabbed me. Do I need a reason to visit him?

"come in first" I faked a smile though i was still hurt, as I got away from the door. I watched as Lay stood there thinking about something. I couldn't help but wonder if he was thinking about last night. He looked so unsure...

"if you are worried that I'll make to have , don't worry i don't have any intentions like that" I said trying to know what exactly what he was thinking about

"huh? oh" Lay said as he showed a sign of relief and he walked in. I couldn't believe it. did he actually thought that? Was he not happy with what happened yesterday?

"so what did you wanna talk about, I don't really have a lot of time, so please make it quick" Lay said looking uncomfortably at the door 

"well I wanted to know if we can meet up sometime" I said trying to think of a way in which i don't sound too weird

"why?" Lay question with a blank expression on his face

"...well i wanted to get to know you better" I looked at the floor for some reason as i talked

"why" Lay said as he kept his eyes on the door.

Is he waiting for someone? If not why is he eyeing the door?

"do I need a reason?" I said getting anoyyed of how he was talking to me

I heard a small giggle "of course not, how about today at midnight?" 

My eyes widened "midnight?"

"that's the only time i can come" Lay replied staring at his hands

"...well sure, i guess it's okay" I said still shocked about the timing

"okay then I'll see you in the front of this building at midnight" Lay said as he started to walk away smiling

I watched as he walked to the door, and i couldn't help but rush to him and pulled him into a hug. Just as i felt him stiffen under me, I let go. 

"I'llseeyoutonightthen" I quickly said as rushed out of the room while my heart beated like there was no tomorrow.
