All of a sudden, he heard footsteps echoing behind him and swerved around to get a glimspe of who it was.

He immediately wished he didn't.

"Speak of the devil." He muttered dryly as Donghae approached him, nervously tugging at the hem of his shirt.

"You were talking about me?" He joked weakly, wincing as the silence prolonged.

"Nah. But i was thinking of you."

"I hope good things" Donghae whispered, wondering whether Eunhyuk had heard him.

He did.

"Sorry to disappoint but i was actually thinking of ways to break up with you. Or maybe that's a good thing since you get more quality time with kibum-sshi." Donghae shook his head frantically, his hand reaching out to hold Eunhyuk in his arms.

"Eunhyuk..."

"Don't!" Eunhyuk snapped and wrenched himself from Donghae. "Don't say my name like you actually love me because you don't! You wouldn't have cheated on me if you did." Donghae glanced at him, his eyes darkening from seeing Eunhyuk in so much pain.

"I'm sorry" he whispered, trying to soothe Eunhyuk with those words.

"No, you're not and don't pretend that you are. He was my best friend and you were my lover, for god's sake! What is wrong with you?" Eunhyuk glared at Donghae, tears falling from his eyes as he took in the image of his love, desperately wanting to fall back into the latter's arms. Instead, Eunhyuk simply stood up and stared at something in the distance.

"I want a break up with you, Donghae. I can't live with you anymore."

Tears in both lovers' eyes, Donghae nodded and watched as Eunhyuk strode off, his shoulders sagged in defeat and their emotions dead.
