Concept
My Mr.MannequinJaejoong’s POV
“I didn’t come here to see this weak side of yours. If you can’t take the job then why don’t you say so.” I lectured her as I rub my nape.
I waited for her respond for awhile.
“Anyway –“ I said as I put both of my hands in each of my pocket, not looking at her.
“Think about it.” I said as I took a quick glance then immediately left without saying a word.
After a few minutes of walking, I arrived at the photoshoot room to be greeted by Nicole who was now outside leaning on the wall beside the door.
“So how’d it go?” She asked.
“It didn’t go well.”
“Did you scold her?”
“Yeah, I did.” I said as I tried to look at Nicole’s reaction nervously.
“Then it’ll go well.” She said as a wide grin formed on her face.
I felt confused and doesn't she sound sneaky.
“How can that go well?” I asked her on what she means.
“Come inside and we’ll wait for her there.” She said as she motioned me to come inside.
“Shouldn’t ladies go first?”
Nicole’s POV
“Oh, okay then.” I said as I went in first then grab a pod chair to sit down.
“And the countdown starts now! 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!” I said as I did the counting together with my fingers.
“ 0! “
“I’m so sorry for the inconvenience.”
“Dara! You’re finally here! We were just discussing about the concept and props to be used in the photoshoot.”
“Eh, I wasn’t late?”
“Oh no! You’re just in time.”
Dara looks to where to staffs gathered.
“Try ticking that old man’s attention.” I said as I pointed to the one wearing a hat.
Dara’s POV
Ahh, the guy I bumped awhile ago.
Instead of approaching him first, I went to approach a group of people who looked like stylists.
“Umm…”
“Ah, are you the photographer?”
“Yes.”
“What took you so long woman!” He said as he flared up.
“But I thought – “ I looked at Nicole, who quickly avoided eye contact and went humming as she spins the chair.
“Now, now. Don’t be too hard on the girl.”
She places her hand on my shoulder as a smile crept on her face.
“We don’t need you here.”
“Hey hey, now Hyori! Didn’t you just said not to be hard on her.”
“What do you think I’m trying to do?!”
“Getting rid of her!”
“I’m just giving her freedom!”
“And you think that’s helping her?”
“Well, atleast she won’t be able to hear you whining!” She said as she crosses her arms together.
While they were constantly arguing , I gathered courage to speak out –
Should I –
I’m shaking –
I have to –
“I’m not leaving. This challenge is on me.” I said confidently.
Both of them stop and turned their attention to me.
“Well then, let’s see what you’ve got.” The woman said.
“Mr. Nakamura, the photographer is here.” The guy with the mohawk hair said.
“Oi !” The old guy said from afar as he waves his hand to call my attention.
I went running to him.
“Is there anything you would like me to do sir?”
“I would like to tell you the concept we’re going to portray and as the photographer, you have the power to capture something that’ll empower the concept – “ He said as he took ahold of both of my shoulder and shakes me.
“What?” I blurted out.
I should not have said that
The old man frowned as he looked at me with eyes that seemed to question if I get what he said.
Sorry, but I don’t. Language of art is just not my thing.
“Yeah, I get it.” I lied – again.
“Okay.” He said as he released me from his grip.
“Here is what you are going to do.”
“The concept is – “
He was explaining this and that which made me feel like I was going to puke.
My head was feeling dizzy from trying to understand the words coming out from his mouth.
After a few minutes of discussion.
“Did you get that?”
“Yes.” I said as thoughts run through my mind.
“Good. Now, where’s the model for the shoot?” He said as he walks around looking from left to right.
“His here.”
