Even if I liked him back.

Even if it was the first time someone asked me to be their girlfriend.

Even if he was the first boy to hold my hand.

That night I just stayed in my room listening to depressing music which made me feel worse. I didn’t have any Korean lessons today, no dance training, nothing because I was suffering from fatigue. I was aloud 4 days off, 4 days off to recover then continue the training.

Is this worth it?

‘I can’t’ I answered bluntly, holding back the tears.

‘Why? Don’t you like me in that way? Am I not your type? Have you got strict parents? Is-‘

‘I just can’t!’ I shouted, taking my anger out on him.

‘I like you Sungmin… but…’ I looked away from him.

I wasn’t allowed to date because I already belonged to SM, because I’m the first Caucasian to join the company I needed to have a perfect image, no boyfriends was part of this image. I was warned the Korean entertainment industry wasn’t nice and any couple pictures could start rumours.

‘Then…what is it?’ Sungmin asked.

I looked for an excuse… yes perfect!

*ring ding dong ring ding dong ring digga digga ding ding ding* 

*sniff ‘hello?’ I answered, trying not to make it obvious I’ve been crying.

‘Ellie, I know you’re not into girls, you never stop going on about six packs sungmin said while laughing.

I smiled.

‘I’m sorry Sungmin…’ I said

‘I know why you can’t go you with me’

I was completely shocked, he knew? How?

‘W-what? How?’ I questioned.

‘You’re worried because it’s your not experienced! It’s you’re first isn’t it?’ he said.

I laughed because I could see the dirty side to the experienced line and I was happy with the fact he got it wrong, but I decided to play along.

‘W-what? Experienced? I’m only coming up to my 14^th birthday Sungmin…’ I said innocently.

‘N-no! I didn’t mean it like uhh…that stuff …I meant it as in you know… relationships ,not that other umm s-tuff…’ I heard him stutter. I could imagine him blushing, he would look so cute.

‘I know oppa’ I immediately covered my mouth with my hands, regretting the words. Sungmin was Korean but he hated kpop, he never listened to it and thought girls sounded stupid when they tried to say ‘oppa’ cutely, in fact he always thought I was a bit weird for dancing to kpop.

He probably hated the fact I just said that ><

‘Sorry, I forgot you-‘

‘Say it again’

I was surprised; I blushed and whispered ‘oppa’.

‘hehe I usually hate that stuff but you sounded so cute’

Why am I so red!?

‘I uhmm umm…’ I stuttered

‘Hey you have days off tomorrow because you fainted right?

‘Yeah…’ I replied , wondering what he was planning.

‘Then I’ll skip school tomorrow and we can go out, you seem like you need a good day out’ he said excitedly.

I didn’t like the idea of this… even thought I didn’t have to go to school I would still have to lie to my parents, they both went to work in the day so I guess it won’t be a problem…

‘Uhh… okay…’ I said sounding a little unsure.

‘It will be fun, so I’ll meet you down there at 12 near the entrance okay?’

‘Okay…’ I still sounded doubtful.

‘Byeeeee’ he said cutely

‘Bye…’

I hung up and thought wait… just us two out together… I think he just tricked me into a date! I didn’t mind, I was excited and quickly went to my wardrobe to find an outfit to wear tomorrow.

‘One date couldn’t hurt’ I smiled and put gee on full blast.

It’s not like we are dating, we won’t take any pictures… I hope >_< I like him, so I should.

I can’t wait!
