I woke up early. I take too long getting ready. I went to take a shower then I brushed my teeth. Then I dried and brushed my hair. I got my glasses and backpack and went downstairs. My mom made breakfast. I ate slowly since I always have a problem of eating too fast.

"I'll be going now," my mom headed out.

"Okay, mahh," I said. Then after a few minutes she came back in.

"Hun, there's someone waiting outside for you," she said.

"Ohh. Okay," I said.

"Bye," she headed out. This time she was leaving for work.

I decided to eat my breakfast. Who could it be? No one ever is outside. I grabbed my backpack and put on my shoes. I looked to see who was there, but there was no one. I frowned. Then JR popped out and scared me.

"Did I scare you?" he smiled. I nodded.

"I'm scared easily," I said.

"Oh. Sorry if I really scared you," he said.

"Its okay," I said.

"Come on. We need to get to school," he said. I nodded.

I walked behind him since I'm a slow walker, but he stopped and waited for me. I thought he wouldn't talk to me today or any day. I guess I was wrong. He started walking slowly now. We walked side by side. Our hands sometimes touched each other and that made me nervous. My heart was beating faster. I really do like him. When we got to school. People were whispering and staring at us.

"Ignore them," he said.

"Okay," I said.

We went to our classroom together. We sat away from each other, but he kept looking at me and smiling. It was kind of weird...
