"did you have fun then?" he says while slurping his noodles

"where?" she asks as she hands him a tissue, since his face was splattered with soup

he looks up at her and takes the tissue and gently wipes his mouth,  "with Donghae" he continues

She nodds her head, "Yeah, and his friend was nice enough to give us some 'samples' of his new clothing line."

"Ah, really?" he replies "You just like getting free stuff, don't you?"

Victoria frowns at him, "It's not like that ! I only went because of Donghae-sshi."

Kyuhyun raises his eyebrows, "because of him? why? what's so special about him? I could take you to any clothing store you want!"

"Whoa whoa, why are you getting worked up over it... I work for him remember? I have to go. "  she presses her lips to a thin line.

Kyuhyun stays silent and in a matter of minutes he finishes his meal and sits back on the chair  with his arms folded to his chest and merely watches her.

"You're done already?" she asks, "It must have been really delicious then!" she smirks

"It's not that, I have to go back to work straight after, I can't just linger around and take 10 hours just for lunch."

"Tssh. Whatever."

Walking side by side on the pavement, the wind gently blows making Victoria squint her eyes and fold her arms.

"We wouldn't have had to walk in the cold if we took my car." he scolds

"How would I know? and it was sunny 40 minutes ago.." she reasons

Wanting to offer her his jacket, Kyuhyun shrugges to the idea, figuring she'd make some sort of argument about it anyway.

The two of them continued to walk in silent, neither of them wanting to say a word. Kyuhyun looks at her at the corner of his eyes with his lips pursed ready to say something but merely shakes his head, she probably doesn't want to talk to him either, he thought.

"If you would randomly grab your friend's hand, does that mean anything?" she suddenly asks

Kyuhyun turns to her with his face looking lost, "In what way?"

"Just... all of a sudden. like...never mind"

he raises his eyebrow and turns his gaze away. "Who would want to hold your hand anyway?" he suddenly speaks up

"What?!"

"Do I need to repeat it?" he says sarcastically before walking faster so that he'd be walking in front of her

Victoria rolls her eyes at him and bites her bottom lip, "This guy..."

The day after, Victoria still couldn't think of a reason why Donghae acted so strange, the funny thing is, they've have much awkward skinship before, but yesterday was different. 

He had a certain spark in his eyes, that Victoria couldn't figure out. 

She shrugges and continues to stare at her laptop screen.

Donghae suddenly speaks up after the long silence that filled the room, "Why are you being so quite all of a sudden?" he stares at her

"Are you sick?" he wondered

"Ah..no, I'm fine." she replies 

Donghae gives her one last look before nodding his head, "OK."

"Should I photocopy those for you?" she takes the pilled up paper without letting him answer, "I'll be back in a bit." she says standing up and getting out the door,

Victoria needed a breather, somehow the awkwardness was suffocating her, it can't be this way, she can't work this way, she needed to get a grip since nothing was really wrong and shes just making it difficult for herself.

Opening the door, she find Kyuhyun standing infront of a giant photocopier with his hands on his hips.

He turns around to see who just entered the room, to only find Victoria glaring at her.

"What?!" 

"What?!" she replies

She walks over behind him making sure there was enough space between them, she silently waits.

The machine kept on making noises and sounding as if it was being murdered inside.

"I think you broke it." Victoria spoke

Kyuhyun glares at her, "No, I didn't" while he pushes more buttons 

"What are you even trying to do?!" she scolds, pushing him aside, Kyuhyun stands behind her looking over her shoulder wondering if she knows what's shes actually doing.

In a matter of seconds, Victoria takes the pile of paper produced and shoves it to Kyuhyun's chest, "Ow!" he whined

"I was expecting a thank you."

"Thanks." he glares, finally walking out.

Looking through his emails, Donghae mindlessly scrolls down and something catches his eyes.

I will promise to introduce the new character in a few more chapters :) bare with my slow updating :(
