Description
Rumor has it that there is an unspoken anti-dating rule in S.M. Entertainment, one of South Korea's largest entertainment agencies. Many couples have fallen victim to these unsaid circumstances, and EXO-K's Kai is just one of them.
What happens when fate reunites two people who once underwent a bitter separation?
Will their love be given a second chance? Or will the fire be extinguished forever?

“Yah pabo, I missed you!!”
He turned around, and without any hesitation, she ran toward the familiar tall figure, enveloping him in a bear hug. Seeing him erased the icy cold of the deep winter night. As always, unspeakable amber filled the inner chambers of her heart, nearly setting her soul on fire.
“Jiyeon ah... Don’t do this now, come on.”
He lightly pushed her away and smiled at her. His eyes remained dark and cold. Taking a couple of steps back, he placed his hands in his pockets.
He never felt so distant before. A dampening aura loomed around the two, and she knew at this instant something was gravely wrong. In her heart, she had a feeling of what he wanted to say when he refused her hug. No, this can’t be happening.
“I-stop. I don’t want to hear it. I’m tired.”
She turned away to leave. A strong arm grabbed her and hauled her back. Please, don’t.
“Jiyeon, let’s end this. I can’t see you anymore, ” his low voice resonated in the deafening silence.
A rush of emotions caused her to choke and whimper, as warm tears flowed down her frozen cheeks. All this while, with her back facing him.
“Why?” she croaked.
He turned her around to face him, and her eyes were b with tears, which glistened in the moonlight.
“You know how it is... It’s a rule none of us can break. I don’t want to hurt you Jiyeon, I – ”
“I hate you.”
She ran as fast as her feet could take her. When he was out of earshot, she collapsed onto the road and sobbed uncontrollably.
He gazed at her back disappearing into the night, his cheeks stained with tears.
Jiyeon ah, I’m sorry.

You have a mum and an older brother, Song Jihyun, who's studying music abroad. Your dad passed away when you were very young. Due to certain circumstances, your brother causes your family to be financially burdened. You in turn make a decision that would change your life... forever.
Kai/Kim Jongin
Main dancer of newly-debuted K-pop band, EXO-K

He appears to be aloof and cold, with a dark past hardly anyone knows about, except a select few.

Jung Ha Eun
Fellow Enigma crew-mate who works at Enigma, currently, as a choreographer and dance instructor.
19 years old
Your best friend - she's someone you absolutely can't live without.
She has an extremely loud personality, and is a drama queen. Very intuitive and perceptive, she is far more situationally aware than you are. Hence you often seek her advice on important decisions you make. For some reason, she swore to stay single until you get married.
Ha Eun's name is saved as 'Her Royal Highness' on your phone. While yours is 'Her Majesty the Queen' on Ha Eun's phone.
Byun Baekhyun
Lead vocalist of EXO-K
21 years old
Your first friend in EXO, his extremely bubbly and outgoing character charms many. Is a 'big brother' to you, and looks out for you and Kai. Can be extremely childish at times, but mature when needed.
Park Chanyeol
Main rapper of EXO-K
21 years old
Extremely tall, and has an unbelievably low voice which does not match his appearance.
Baekhyun's best friend, is often seen with Baekhyun. Second person in EXO to discover your secret. Calls himself the 'Happy Virus'.
Oh Sehun
Lead dancer of EXO-K
19 years old
EXO's maknae. Has an adorable lisp that everyone identifies him with.
One of the closest EXO members to you. He seems to appear whenever you're in trouble, somewhat your 'guardian angel'. He saved you from a mob of fangirls once. Inseparable from Luhan, his 'twin' in EXO-M. Dorky, but inwardly, he's quite sweet and sensitive.
Lee Taemin
Main dancer of SHINee, another K-pop band from the same company
20 years old
SHINee's maknae. Extremely beautiful; you mistook him for a girl. He's Kai's best friend in S.M. Entertainment.
Albeit his shy exterior, Taemin can be very warm and caring. He knows all about your history with Kai from the start till end, since Kai confided in him about it. Just like Baekhyun, he looks out for Kai and you.
EXO
Latest rookie K-pop band from SM Entertainment.
Composed of 12 members - split into 2 subgroups, EXO-M and EXO-K.
EXO-K: Suho, Baekhyun, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, Sehun
EXO-M: Kris, Xiumin, Luhan, Lay, Chen, Tao
