“But do you really know him?”
YooAra shrugs and just gives her friend a half- hearted smile. She looks over her shoulder and watches him coming over their table with a tray on his hand—a box of chocolate drink and two cupcakes for her (her usual snack) and a can of soda and a pack of cheesecurls for himself.
“Cheesecurls. One of my favorites.”Ara comments even though it wasn’t the truth (she never liked cheesecurls because of the cheese that always gets stuck on her hands), leaning in with her elbow under her chin, when he placed her food in front of her.
“Really? It’s my first time buying this today. Let’s share this, Ara.” Suho smiles at her, punching the straw into her chocolate drink for her.
Ara shakes her head, laughing.
“No, it’s okay.”
Nara, sitting beside her, nudges her by the elbow and just gives her a meaningful look.
“What’s your favorite color?”
Ara sends a note to him in the middle of their Humanities class.
She usually sends hand- written notes to her friends during class—usually to Hyoyoung, sometimes to Suho or Chanyeol— to ask them about things. Just anything.Ara is never the one to listen intently to her lectures instead questions and random ideas would usually pop out of her mind.
Suho sits two seats away from her and so Ara turns her head, just in time when their professor turned his back to scribble some words into the whiteboard, to see him smiling, shaking his head once or twice (Ara wasn’t sure because half of her attention was on their professor. He never likes it when students pass notes in class.).
She turns her head again this time, surprised to see Suho paying attention to class than tending to her written note instead.
“Is there something wrong, Miss Yoo.”
Ara immediately goes back to her position and smiles, “N-nothing, Sir.”
She curses under her breathe after their professor gets back to his lecture and promises she’ll kick Suho after class for ignoring her.
“I like blue but it’s not a favorite.”
Suho tells her as both of them walk along the crowded hallway of their school.
“I really hate crowded hallways,” Ara mutters under her breath, Suho notices and instinctively, he grabs her free hand and leads the way for her.
