He asks if you can give him a kiss on the cheek and turns his head when you're about to kiss his cheeks

You were at the beach with your boyfriend watching the sunset. Right before the sun set, your boyfriend asked you to give him a kiss on the cheek. Wondering why, you leaned towards him. 

'He's probably going to turn his head so that I end up kissing him on his lips...' you thought.

Well... you were right and wrong. He did turn his head... the other way. He made his move once he saw that you were confused. As you were thinking of what just happened, he leaned forward to give you a very quick, chaste peck on the lips.

"What was that for?" you asked.

"I just wanted to surprise you," he answered.
