You were not in a good mood. It was hot and humid, not to mention you were bleeding. Every little thing would set you off today. Usually your boyfriend knew that, but you also knew that the weather was getting to him as well. You didn’t care though. You were mad at him. Why? He ate all of your favorite ice cream. That’s right. ALL of it. He knew it was YOUR ice cream and he still ate it…

“____-ah,” Jiyong said.

You turned the other way, not talking to him. You were still mad about your ice cream.

“Jagiya~!” he continued with some aegyo, “Is uri _____ie angry with her Jiyongie?”

He kept on with his aegyo. He would act cute and he would do things to try to make you laugh. You really wanted to laugh and pinch his cheeks, but you were still mad.

‘_____-ah, stay strong, arasso?’ you mentally said.

After a few minutes of aegyo without any response, he decided to switch tactics.

“Baby talk, talk, talk to me~,” he sang. He sang many different songs for you.

“She killed my ego~!”

“Beautiful girl, baby. Beautiful girl, lady. You are my baby, baby, baby. Naegen neomu wanbyeokhae.”

“Nan neoui boyfriend. Nan naui girlfriend.”

“Nan naman barabwa~”

You were really thinking about giving in now. He was just trying really hard. After singing a few other songs, he got serious.

“______, are you mad” he said.

‘Oh no,’ you thought, ‘he’s going to give me a serious talk now…’

“Mianhaeyo. Mianhae. Mian. Please don’t be mad, Jagiya,” he said.

You still didn’t answer him. After a while, you felt him get up off of the couch the two of you had been sitting on. Before he left the room, you took a quick peek at his face. He still had a serious expression on. After he left, you couldn’t help but throw a pillow from the couch in frustration. Being to lazy to pick it up, you decided to just stay put until your boyfriend came back. Maybe about thirty minutes later, he came back with a plastic bag.

Temporarily forgetting that you were mad at him, you asked, “What’s that?”

Giving you the silent treatment, he put the bag in front of you and left the room.

Being the curious girl you were, you took a peek inside the plastic bag. Taking it out of the bag, you saw it was a tub of your favorite ice cream. After taking the tub out, you decided to look into the bag to make sure there was nothing left inside. As you looked in, you noticed a card.

Jagiya,

Mian. Sorry for eating your ice cream. I bought you another one to make up for eating the original.

Saranghae,

Jiyong

Now you felt bad. Thinking about it, you noticed how childish you were. Deciding to apologize, you left the couch, with the ice cream of course, and went to look for your boyfriend. After putting the ice cream in the fridge, you walked around the house and you finally found him out on the balcony looking at the sunset.

Laying your head on his shoulder, you apologized. “Mian Jiyong-Oppa. I’m sorry for how I acted.”

Being the kind of boyfriend he was, he forgave you.

“Saranghae Oppa,” you said.

“Nado saranghae,” he replied.

As you two were watching the sun set together, Jiyong couldn’t help but think, ‘No wonder she acted the way she did. Next time, she should make it easier on the both of us by just telling me it was her time.’
