I looked out the window. The rain stomping down. Lightning violently lighting up the sky, like fireworks but brighter, harsher. Thunder so loud it sounded like we were at war. Each the sound as angry as a fired cannon. The thunder didn't scare me anymore when it crashed. I was used to it by now. Feeling the glass shake. It soothed me, this weather. I looked painfully out the window. I wonder if they could hear me. If they knew how much I missed them. Time. This moment in time. I wanted to capture it. It was the small things in life that people seemed to let pass them by ignorantly. I wouldn't. I couldn't. Not again. I will be grateful with each second I have on my hands. Because you're not promised tomorrow. You never know which minute will be your last.
