“Are you that naïve now?” Youngbae argued.

“If it’s the truth should I insist it’s a lie?”

She always thought she would never go back to Korea.

She always thought coming back will never bring her memories.

She thought if that day would come she would forget everything . . .

But she was wrong,

Coming back to Korea was unexpected and behind the reason was just more pain.

She stirs her coffee and look pass the Mohawk guy in front of her.

The peaceful vibes of Seoul can never be compared with the busy streets of New York,

It’s true, she missed this. She misses them and perhaps she missed him too.

Behind those unquestionable conversations, inside the restaurant across the street –a pair of eyes

Were lurking and a heart that was breaking.

“Yeah, I saw her –she’s with Youngbae, so it’s true isn’t it?”

“I know… I’ll find that one reason to keep holding on even though there are 99 reasons to let go,”

“Good bye Sohee but Thanks for the information,”

Jiyong hanged up, he sighed as he watched the couple from across the street talking.

Why did I let her go? Why did I not chase after her?  But then, she found someone new and the worst part is he’s hyung’s friend.

I wonder if hyung knows about this.

I wonder if my step brother knows about this…

“I fell in love with you Dara.” Youngbae said softly.

Dara puts down her coffee and stares at the guy in front of her.

“I know, you followed me to New York and pursued me,” Dara answered him coldly.

Youngbae wanted to say something but decided to remain his silence.

“The Dara you knew back then will never come back, bae –I’ve change, I gave you a chance but you wasted it, you’re like Jiyong and the rest of them –torned up with the ideal fantasy of perfection.”

Dara stood up and left the boy flabbergasted.

“I know you still love him dee. I just know it,” Youngbae whispered to himself.

He smiled, paid for their bills and left.

He was on his way out when he bumped in to someone.

“Sorry man!” Jiyong apologized

Youngbae smiled and tapped his shoulder.

“Yo JI! It’s funny to bump in to you, today.”

Jiyong smiled back and gave his friend a hug.

“would you care to join me in the table?”

Jiyong shook his head, and gave his friend a small smile,

“I just ate and I’m on my way out,”

“Common! I want to catch up with you and top,” Youngbae insist.

“so what I hear was right,” Youngbae suddenly spoke up.

“Right about what?”

“you and Dara being so cold…”

“you know her…” jiyong looks away.

“Oh so you knew?”
 

“Yeah, I heard it from Sohee.” JIyong said coldly.

“you still love her?” Youngbae asked –he was dead serious.

He was dead serious to let her go for her to be happy with the guy she’s been in love with.

Jiyong nodded. “I did, I do and I still love her, bae. “ Jiyong admitted softly.
