I swallowed. The silent dinging hall gave off an eerie atmosphere. I avoided meeting any stares and shifted uncomfortably. Taemin stepped up beside me and almost immediately the noises of high school chatter filled my ears again.

Whoa, that's weird..? Taemin grabbed a light hold of my arm and pulled me forward. His chilly fingers numbed that area. I kept my gaze on his backside as he led me around the maze of tables and past booths till we reached the far end of the 'hall.

"Hey guys!" I peeked around his solid back to see Abby flashing her full canine smile. She better not go all weirdo physic on me again. -.-  She waved and motioned for us to sit across from her. We did, Taemin allowed me to slide into the booth first, and then he followed to sit at the end across from Abby.

I looked at the setting laid out in front of me; it's like a restaurant, the silver ware lined on both sides of the plates and empty glasses waiting to be filled with some sort of liquid.

"Are you hungry, Bea?" Abby chirped, her red eyes glistening.

No sh#t, the last time I ate a full meal was the day before yesterday. Before I could answer,

"Choose from here." I looked at the place-card Taemin was offering me. There is actually a menu here? Wow, I sort of expected a serve-yourself buffet style thing, but this is better! I don't really like having to stand to get my food, I prefer to be served. Heh, yeah go ahead
