The next few days passed as usual as you felt yourself getting gradually weaker.

You rolled around your bed and breathe heavily.

*Even breathing becomes difficult now.*

You heaved a sigh and close your eyes.

 

‘~~~~! Come down for lunch!’ You heard Daehyun called you from the door.

You grunted and tried sitting up but suddenly your head hurts.

You hissed and quickly massaged your temples.

 

‘C-coming!’ You shouted back as you tried to stand up straight but failed too as

you wobbled and knocked over the table lamp causing a loud crash.

 

In seconds, Daehyun barged into your room to see you on the floor, clutching your head in pain.

‘A-are you alright, ~~~~?!’ He kneeled down beside your and put an arm around your waist,

trying to lift you up.

 

‘I-i’m fine.’ You said still with your eyes shut tight.

‘You’re not fine, ~~~~. Do you want to go see the doctor?’ Daehyun’s voice filled with concern.

 

‘No. I’m fine. I just need more rest.’ You said as you pushed him off.

*No, i’m not fine Jung Daehyun. I’m going to die soon.*

 

‘Stay in the room okay? I’ll bring your lunch up for you.’ He said as he led you gently to your bed and lay you down.

‘I’ll bring the medicine for you too.’

 

Daehyun left the room and came back with a tray of porridge, a glass of water and your medicine.

You smiled at him and thanked him as he sat down on the edge of your bed.

Your hand reached out to hold the tray but was pushed away by Daehyun’s.

‘I’ll feed you.’

 

You blushed hearing what he said.

‘It’s okay i can manage it by myself.’

You attempt to grab the spoon from his arm but he pulled back his arm.

 

‘With your shaky hands? You’ll get porridge all over the bed. Just sit still and let me feed you.’

He said sternly and you didn’t want to argue.

Anyways, it would only be once in a lifetime where you can get Daehyun to feed you.

 

He placed the tray on lap. He held the bowl with this left hand and the spoon with his right.

He blew gentle on the spoon before feeding you.

‘Say ahhh~’

 

‘I’m not a kid, Daehyun.’ You rolled your eyes and let out a snort.

‘Just do it. Say ahh~’

‘Daehyun, i’m n-‘

‘Just open your mouth and eat.’

 

You obediently did as you were told as he let out a soft laugh.

He continued feeding you with care despite all your protests.

You blushed whenever he leans in closer just to feed you.

You stared at his handsome and defined features.

His perfect nose, his thick lips, his huge eyes...

 

‘Are you checking me out?’ Daehyun let out a smirk.

You flushed getting caught in the mid of staring at his face.

He laughed as you pouted.

After he was done, he took a tissue and leaned closer to you,

helping you wipe your mouth clean.

 

Daehyun stared at your lips as he did, patting it gently causing you to blush harder.

*W-what is this weird feeling i’m feeling?*

You quickly pushed Daehyun off and told him you can handle the rest yourself.

 

You gulped down your medicine and pushed yourself up,

sitting straight you held Daehyun’s hand.

He looked at you in surprise.

 

‘D-daehyun, i’ve been hesitating to tell you this.’ You started.

*Is she going to confess to me?! What should i do!?* Daehyun started panicking.

‘Y-yes?’ His words came out as a stutter out of nervousness.

 

‘I-i’m going to die soon.’ You whispered.

‘W-what?! Die? How can you die? Stop joking, ~~~~.’ He said as he let out a nervous laugh.

‘I’m not. I’m getting weaker day by day. My time is almost up.’

Your voice shook as you said those words.

 

‘H-how can you?’

 

‘Daehyun you have to hurry up and teach me. What is love?’

You shook him by the shoulders as he looked at you with wide eyes,

slowly digesting all the words you have said.

 

‘I will think of a way.’ He said as he stood up.

‘I don’t have much time left.’ You murmured.

 

Daehyun patted your head.

‘Don’t worry ~~~~. How about we go to the library when you’re better?

We could search up for some books.’ He suggested.

 

Your eyes twinkled in hope.

‘Let’s go now.’ You hastily pulled the bed covers away and stood up.

‘Aren’t you not feeling well?’ Daehyun asked with an arched eyebrow.

 

‘I’m feeling all better. Besides, there’s no more time to waste. Let’s hurry.’

You pushed Daehyun out of your room and ushered him to go get changed.

He just scratched his head and does as he was told.

In an hour, you’re already in the library with Daehyun scanning through the never ending rack of books.

‘How to be a guitarist, How to be a millionaire, How to be a happy person, How to be a vegetarian.’

*bleggh* You made a face at the last book title. Why would someone want to be a vegetarian when meat is so delicious?

‘Aha! How to fall in love.’ 

 

You hurriedly took the book to Daehyun who is sitting on an empty table.

His face flushed from reading the book he is holding.

‘Daehyun, look i found this one!’ You sat down beside him and flipped open the pages,

scanning through the contents.

‘Daehyun... Daehyun?’

 

You waved your hand in front of his face and he snapped out from his thoughts.

Dirty thoughts.

 

‘What are you reading so intensely, Daehyun?’

You asked as grabbed his book and scanned through the page he was reading.

 

‘Snuggle with her and make her comfortable with both of your bodies up against each other.’

 

You gasped at the first sentence you read.

‘Daehyun! I didn’t know you’re such a ert!’

You whispered as shut the book and smacked Daehyun’s arm with it.

 

Daehyun let out a yelp and glared at you.

‘I didn’t know it was about that!’ He whispered back.

 

‘Yeah right, Daehyun.’ You giggled.

 

‘I swear!’

 

‘But you seem like you’re enjoying it. Why?’ You teased as Daehyun blushed.

 

‘L-let’s get back to reading other materials.’ Daehyun changed the topic fast to avoid getting teased more.

‘Ahhh~’ You stretched. ‘The books didn’t help much but i do have a 3 ideas now.

So i planned to.. 1. Spend more time with your family. It’s a form of love too, right?

Then 2. Spend more time with friends.’

 

Daehyun shook his head and smiled.

 

‘Ahhh..’ You grabbed on your head.

‘Are you alright?! It hurts again?!’ Daehyun rushed to hold onto you.

‘Y-yeah...’ You then let out a breath of air as your head stopped hurting.

‘It’s only for a while, don’t worry.’ You smiled up at him.

 

*How can i not worry when you’re hurting like that?* Daehyun sighed.

 

‘So, what’s the 3^rd idea?’ Daehyun asked.

You slung your arms around his which him to blush.

‘I’ll tell you the next time.’ You smiled.

 

‘Why not now?’ Daehyun questioned

‘Because it’s not the time yet.’

 

‘Is it something inappropriate? Tsk tsk.' Daehyun teased you and wagged a finger in front of you.

 

You pushed him lightly before tugging him back.

‘N-no!!’

 

Daehyun laughed at you and pinched your nose.

After realizing what he has done, the both of you blushed as you let go of his arm.

 

‘U-uh.. s-sorry.’ He scratched the back of his neck, not looking at you.

‘I-it’s fine...’ You said, looking at the ground with a red face.
