After a long day of work, I was eager to go home. I worked at a company an hour away from my home so it was a long way back. As I stood waiting for the elevator, I noticed I was the only person on that floor, which was odd since it wasn't even that late yet. At that moment, there was a "ding" noise which meant that the elevator has arrived at this floor.

At that moment, one of my co-workers gave me a pat on the shoulder which surprised me as I thought I was the only person on this floor. 

"Hi," she waved. 

"Hi," I answered back. The elevator door opened and we both stepped in.

"So how is work today?" she asked. 

I shrugged. "Good I guess."

The elevator stopped at another floor and more people got in.

"How is the new project going?" she asked once again.

I shrugged. "Pretty good I guess. Just need a little bit more work until I'm done.

At that moment, the people in the elevator gave me the weird looks. I noticed but I didn't care anyways.

"Who are you talking to?" one of the man asked. 

I furrowed my eyebrows. "Her obviously," I pointed to the right, where my co-worker was standing. I felt no presence so I quickly looked over to make sure she was there.

There was nobody standing there....
