It was 12:00 a.m and I was getting really tired. We were at my sister's boyfriend's place, who lived in a apartment complex. Because of that, we couldn't be too loud. 

"Let's go swimming at his place!" was what my sister told us before we got dragged to go along with her. 

"Hey are you done?" I lazily asked as I played with the laptop on the bed. My sister was still running around looking for her shoes. "WHO THE HELL TOOK MY SHOES?!" she screamed. I sighed and shook my head. *Always loosing her stuff.*

"It's getting hot in here, I'm going outside," I announced before getting off the bed and going outside. I went out and breathed in the cool air. *Feels much better than inside.* I was standing on the second floor of the apartment complex so I see everything in one view. I looked down at the pool and almost let out a loud scream. 

There was a little boy standing on the water looking up at me.

Yes, standing.

"Umm.. guys.. I think you might want to see this." I called out to my sisters and her friends. I tried to stay calm but the look in his eyes gave my the creeps. 

"What is it?! I don't have time to talk to you right now. Mom is getting pissed and we need to get home before she explodes!" my sister yelled and went to the kitchen. "Ugh! My shoes!" she groaned.

I turned away and slowly turned back again.

He was gone.

"Oh there it is!" my sister came out of the door and pointed to the chairs beside the pool. "Get it for me yeah?" she asked. I wanted to reject her but she quickly went back inside. 

Knowing her, I knew she was going to make fun of me if I told her what I saw. *Maybe I'm just hallucinating.*

I went down the stairs and quickly ran across the pool. I grabbed her shoes and ran back up the stairs, not daring to look back. Halfway on the stairs, I slowly look back to see if there was anyone. 

No one.

I let out a sigh in relief. *I was just hallucinating after all.*

"AHHHHH!!!" I heard a scream coming from my sister. 

"Hey what's-" 

I froze.

So did my sister.

The boy I saw earlier was standing right in front of my sister, with a wide grin. 

In just a second, he disappeared, leaving the both of us frozen in shock.

This just happened today to my friend and her sisters. She told me while crying a bit and I thought I should share this with you guys. I once saw a ghost by a pool but instead of appearing, he dragged me down and drowned me instead. I won't go into full details about what happened because I will tell you guys in the future.
