*Exactly 12:00.* I checked my watch and looked at the ceiling. *She should be here soon.*

The temperature in my room began to drop and the lights started flickering on and off. Soon, the whole room became dark except for the light from my laptop. Slowly, a woman's head appeared upside down from the ceiling and she slowly came down. She stopped and stared at me with the red eyes of hers. 

So I stared back.

I didn't dare to blink, afraid that she might disappear like the night before. 

30 minutes passed.

Then 2 hours.

Then 3.

Then 6.

Soon it was 6:30 and there were black circle under my eyes, which had now turned red from me not blinking.

What was my purpose of doing this? 

Just for fun.

I heard footsteps coming up the stairs and I knew my mom was coming up to see how I was doing. Before I could lock the door, my mom opened up the door and let out a scream.

I blinked my eyes and the woman disappeared from the ceiling. 

"W-why are your eyes all red?!" my mom panicked and grabbed my face. "And was that a ghost?! Why didn't you call for me?!" 

"I was just staring at her," I rolled my eyes in annoyance. "You scared her away."

*Maybe tomorrow I'll see her again. Maybe.*

This story is about my 11 year old niece who stared at a freaking ghost for a few hours. *Shakes head.* Crazy guy.
