Chaewon Sammiel Klier's pov.

I'm contemplating whether to call Winter or just let her be. She said thet she'll come home to get her car before the semester start but, she didn't shows up. may nangyari kaya sa kaniya? Mom was expecting for her pa naman.

I open my messages and scroll down to find her name to text her.

Messages:

akala ko ba kukunin mo car mo?

why didn't you show up last night?

After I message her, I tilt my head to the left because someone's honking at me.

AANDAR KABA O ANO?!!

I glare at her, kahit na hindi niya ako nakikita. I kept my phone and started the engine of my car. 

It's the first day of semester and the three of us including D'nyel agreed to go together but we need to drive our own cars. Ayaw daw nilang maging driver. Kahit na namiss ko tong baby ko mas okay parin sa'akin kung isa sa kanila ipag d-drive ako. Si Yena ang nakaisip nito dahil mahilig talaga siyang mag papansin. Dapat daw first day palang mag papakitang gilas na.

A few minutes had passed at nakarating na kami sa parking ng SNU. Syempre takaw tingin talaga yung mga car namin since it's all sports cars. Yena's driving a yellow Porche 911 GT3, D'nyel's black BMW i8, and my red Ferrari SF90. I don't really like to attract people, pero pag si Yena ang kasama mo hindi mo maiiwasan.

I got out of my car after I parked it and I immidiately hears people talking. There's a lot people in the parking since most of the students in SNU uses cars. I just ignore them whether they talk bad or good about me... or us.

As usual, I tiredly walk going to the elevator not minding anyone. In a sec, D'nyel already join me. We walk beside each other until we reach the elevator just to find that Yena didn't follow us.

"Tignan mo tong mokong na to, parang tatakbong mayor!" sabi ni D'nyel nung nakita si Yena na ngiting ngiting lumabas sa kotse niya at tinangunan agad ang unang maka eye contact niya.

"Gusto ata sumunod sa yapak ng tatay niya" hirit ko.

D'nyel rolls her eyes nung nagsimula na si Yena na kumaway kaway sa mga tao. "Iwan na natin yan! Ayoko malate sa orientation!"

I chuckle at the sight of Yena radiating a positive energy then turn to D'nyel. "sagot ko na muna siya, next week di na yan makakaganyan sa dami ng gagawin" 

"Ano pa bang magagawa ko? Edi mag hintay" D'nyel said at tinapik ko nalang ang balikat niya.

It didn't take a while for Yena to recognize us and she jog going to our direction with a bright smile.

"Tangina D'nyel energy naman jan!" Yena.

"Balak mo bang mag mayor ha?!" iritang sabi ni D'nyel at pumasok na kami sa loob ng elevator.

"Aga aga D'nyel ganiyan agad ugali mo! Pangit mo ka-bonding!" Yena.

"Sensya kana di ko kasi pinangarap maging mayor e!" D'nyel.

"Sabihin mo pangit lang talaga mga trip mo! Tignan mo nga si Chaewon pangiti ngiti lang"

"Lagi naman! Ngiti ngiti lang yan pero gusto ka na niyang sapakin!"

Yena suddenly look at me pouting. "Totoo ba yun, mahal ko?" malambing niyang sabi.

I let out a soft laugh and dismiss her. Magsasalita pa sana siya pero tumunog na ang elevator at agad na lumabas si D'nyel.

"Una na ako Chae, kita nalang tayo mamaya" pag papaalam niya, at tumango lang ako sa kaniya.

"Lah! Sakin di ka mag papaalam?" singit ni Yena.

"Paalam."

"Bwisit ka talaga, sinisira mo ang umaga ko!"

"Same bansot!" sabi ni D'nyel.

She smile at me for the last time at naglakad na papalayo.

"Bahala ka, mamimiss mo ako!" sigaw ni Yena at humarap na sa'akin.

"Nakakalimutan mo atang law student si D'nyel" sabi ko at ngumiti.

"Ahhhhhh! Oo nga palaaaa, kaya pala nag mamadali na. Sorry akin! Kiss ko nalang siya mamaya" sabi niya at kumapit na sa braso ko.

We walked going to where our designated dept. Parehas lang kaming nasa left wing ng unniv. Magkatabi lang kasi building ng engineering at bussiness ad. Mauuna lang yung sa kanila then sa'amin na.

"Oh no! Dito naba tayo maghihiwalay?" Yena said, na nag sasad face pa nung makarating kami sa tapat ng building nila.

"Magkikita rin tayo! Nag US ka lang clingy kana ew!" sabi ko at inalis ang pagkaka-kapit niya sa braso ko.

"Pati ikaw nag bago na rin Chae? Nasan na yung soft baby choco-"

Hindi niya natapos yung sinasabi niya dahil may bumangga sa likod niya. Agad namin tinignan kung sino pero nagmamadali na yung nakabangga sa kaniya at hindi napansin na may nabangga siya. Tinignan ko ng mabuti ang likuran niya, at sa ayos palang nito ay nakilala ko na kung sino siya.

"Akyat na! Nagmamadali na mga ka-dept mo ikaw andito pa nag dadrama" sabi ko at tinapik ang balikat niya, hudyat ng pag papa-alam ko.

"Wait lang!" Yena said while still looking to where the person go, na nakabangga sa kaniya.

"Ano nanaman?" sabi ko.

"Parang alam ko kung kaninong likod yon"

"Ewan ko sayo, nababaliw kana!" sabi ko at kinunutan siya.

"Seryoso ngaaa! Nagkita na kami?" Yena said looking at me like she's questioning my existence.

I roll my eyes. "Yuriel Milano, at oo nag kita na kayo! Alis na ako"

"Sandaliiii" Yena said and hold my arm to stop me from walking away from her. "...sino ulit?"

"Si Yuri! Yung nasa party ni Ryujin" I calmly said.

"Ahright! Oki alis kana bye!" sabi niya at nagmamadaling pumasok sa loob ng building nila.

Kumaway pa siya sa'akin bago tuluyang mawala sa paningin ko. The hell? Bakit biglang nagmadali yung mokong na yon?! Napailing nalang ako at nagsimula na maglakad papunta sa building namin. 8AM pa naman ang class ko pero sinabayan ko silang dalawa na may 7AM class kasi wala lang. Bored na rin ako dahil ako lang mag isa sa condo.

After nung party sa bahay nila Ryujin, kinabukasan tinext nalang ako ni Yujin na hindi na muna siya uuwi. I kept on thinking if thre's a problem or is she got in trouble pero wala naman balita, kahit kela D'nyel. I asked her one time pero sabi niya na okay lang siya at may need lang siya ayusin para sa huling laban niya. I hope she's really fine.

I don't mind thinking about her well being kahit na sobrang daming tumatakbo sa isip ko ngayon. Minsan nahihirapan na akong iprocess but I need to. I don't have a choice since I don't want to fall everyone apart. I don't want to compromise the people around me. If I can do it alone, I'll do it on my own.

Umupo muna ako sa may bench sa tapat ng building namin. I'll wait Yujin here. Same kaming aero pero natripan niya lang din haha, bago daw sa pandinig niya and to my surprice nakapasa naman siya sa course na to. I remember asking her na kung makapasa siya anong gagawin niya and yung sagot niya 'change course nalang pag di kinaya' 

I smile remembering it, and realize how I'm so fond of Yujin. Wala parin siyang reply pero sana okay lang talaga siya. I'll go up if she's still not around before 8. Magpapalipas muna ako ng oras dito.

5minutes had past and I'm getting sleepy. I don't know what's happening to my body but these past few days i've been feeling so sleepy. I sigh, maybe my brain is getting tired. I look at my phone but I still got no reply from Yujin, and now I'm worried. Sa aming apat si Yujin ang pinaka mabilis mag reply but now, I got none from her.

It's already 8:45AM and still none, guess I'll just wait for her in class.

I get up from where I'm sitting and suddenly, I feel my phone vibrated. I took it hoping it's Yujin but, as I read who it came from a frown form on my face. I close my eyes for a sec before opening the message.

I sigh for the last time and put my phone inside my back pocket. It vibrated again pero hindi ko na pinansin. My mind is being clouded of thoughts. Today... I gain something very important but I still didn't tell it to anyone. Maybe that person will be the first one to hear the news.

I'm suppose to tell it to Hyewon but I don't wanna ruin her first day of semester and also... I don't want to think of something else, I just wanna be like those normal college students in their fisrt day... just for today. I want to be normal without thinking of anything else-

"SAMMIEL!"

My thoughts dissappear when I heard someone calls me. When I'm back to reality, I realize that someone's snaking their arm around my neck. In an instant I pull it off on my neck and twist it.

"Ahhhh! aray ko naman Sammiel, huy!"

I blink my eyes a couple of times when I saw Yujin's face. She taps her shoulder and I instantly release her arm.

"Grabe ka naman!" Yujin said and hissed.

Guilt is all over my face as I took her arm at dahan dahan ko itong hinimas.

"Sorry, sorry! Akala ko kasi kung sinooo!" I said and gently massage her arm.

"Kanina pa kita tinatawag hindi ka tumitingin" she pause "nakaalis na tuloy si Minju" mahinahon niyang sabi.

"Kasabay mo siya?" tanong ko.

"Nagkasabay lang kami" Yujin said and started walking inside engineering building. "ang lalim ng iniisip mo may problema ba?" she ask.

I look at her. She's putting her lips together revealing her dimples.

"You didn't answer my texts, what's the problem?" I directly ask her.

Her shoulder turns down. "Alam kong yan agad una mong itatanong at hindi mo ako titigilan kaya no choice ako kung hindi sabihin"

"Edi may problema nga?"

"Y...yes?"

"Tell me so I can do some-"

"NO! Please... don't do anything this time" Yujin said in a serious tone.
