Author's Note

I am happy to be able to post Chapter 6 today. I hope you like it.

"I love girls’ days out!" Jennie excitedly walked to the salon.

They took advantage of the spa party package, which included a manicure, pedicure, hand and foot spa, and oriental foot massage. They were led to a room where they sat on comfortable chairs.

"Me and Lisa are dating." Jennie announced.

"We know."

"It’s obvious."

Jennie pouted. "We just click and really like each other."

"Is that why you pounced on her in the corridor of the karaoke place?"

"I did not pounce on her. We were just talking, then suddenly, I saw her biting her lips and -"

"And you pounced on her." Hwasa giggled.

"No, I – I believe I – okay, I kissed her." Jennie blushed.

"The cat can’t contain her thirst." Hwasa shook her head in disbelief.

"She is so cute, cool and funny. You can’t blame me."

"Those three really have charm. Right, Hwasa?" Yong-sun agreed.

"If you want to ask about me and Wheein, we talk every day, but I think instead of a girlfriend, I see her as a close friend. So, let’s skip my nonexistent love life and get to the exciting matter at hand. So... how are you and Byul?" Hwasa said without pausing.

"Byul slept at the apartment."

"Wait, what?"Jennie exclaimed. The manicurist told Jennie to refrain from moving her hands so much.

"But nothing happened." Yong-sun assured them.

"But you want something to happen?" Hwasa asked naughtily.

"I don’t know."

"How can you not know?"

"It is not in the contract."

"What are you talking about?"

"Girls, I think I need to tell you something."

Yong-sun admitted to her two friends that the relationship with Byul was faked and they even wrote a contract for it. She apologized for lying before and said that she felt guilty all the time.

"So, all of those are fake?"

"Are you sure? It’s either you are both good actresses or you are not faking it at all."

"I am sure that everything is fake. Let me remind you that I’m an actress."

"Okay, let’s say that is true. You get to make Eric jealous, and then what? Are you planning to get back together if your plan works?"

"No, I just want to annoy him."

"What for?"

"It all started when Byul called me babe in front of him. Then everyone believed that we were dating. It became hard to correct people."

"So instead of correcting them, you played along."

"I’m really sorry, okay? I really am."

"What is Byul getting out of this?"

"Byul said she just wants to have fun, and doing this is fun."

"And you believe that? Do you really think Byul will stop with those three kisses on the contract? It’s Byul."

"I thought of that too, but honestly, she seems different from what we know about her. I already told you, she comforted me that night, and I have not felt any advances from her."

"I think I know what is happening here. You are starting to like her, for real." Hwasa deduced.

"I – I think – "

"Don’t you ever deny it."

"I think I am a little bit attracted to her." Yong-sun finally admitted it.

"What will you do when this fake dating ends? And when will it end? It is kind of vague from the contract."

"I don’t know. Maybe when it's not fun anymore."

"When exactly is that?"

"I really don’t know. I think I have not thought this through."

"You think?"

"Okay, I made a bad decision and I don’t know what to do anymore. Help me please."

"That is what we are here for."
