“Rock, paper… Ah!” Shuhua melts into the floor. Above her a tiny, high pitched, voice giggles. 

“Again, again!” 

Crawling to her knees, Shuhua is somber and her eyes narrowed with the uttermost focus. “Rock, paper… Ah!” Again she melts into the floor, her limp scissors splayed for all to see. 

“Again, again!” 

Rushing to her feet, Shuhua scoops up the small child. The tiny thing squeals in delight. “Shushu hungry!” The fierce rawr is punctuated with the mock chomps to the wriggling tummy. 

“AHH!” Plump little arms flail, “NOOO!” Her pleas are punctuated by hiccupping laughter. 

In the frame of the door, Soojin calls, “No eating the child.” Her arms are crossed over her chest and the frown in her lips twitches in the corner. 

“Shushu hungry,” Shuhua repeats teasingly as she dips in for another chomp. 

“Aunty Soo, save me!” 

When Shuhua dips and twirls and dances around the living room, Soojin chuckles. “Come on you two, dinner is ready.” 

“Shushu hungry!” Shuhua cries one final time as she lumbers over, the itty bitty wriggling child hanging over her shoulder, “Let’s eat!”

Squealing in delight as she bounces up and down, the little girl cheers, “Let’s eat!”
