inhale, exhale on repeat“The next question,” the host read off the cue card, “Unnie, I like my boyfriend, but I don’t feel like I love him anymore. Should I break up with him?”
On the panel of four celebrity guests, the first answer tumbled out fluidly, “If you don’t love someone anymore, yes. Breaking up will be better for both of you.”
Another hummed along, nodding their head in agreement while the third stated, “The question is sort of vague, isn’t it?”
The three spoke amongst themselves before the host called out, “Shuhua-ssi? What are your thoughts?”
“I agree, the question is too vague.” Shuhua held the mic with both hands and began, “Love always starts as a pretty feeling. Like the flutter in our heart when we hear their name or the way our stomach tickles when we think of them.” Her voice was uncharacteristically low.
The other guests nodded, one smiling along while the others grew attentive.
“But at some point that pretty feeling goes away and we see that the person we love is human. They make mistakes. They forget to do things we ask or they do them wrong. They are busy or not busy enough. They are successful or not successful enough. All the things we ignored that were there when we first fell in love.”
After a long pause, the host urged her to continue.
“I don’t think we can say if they should leave her boyfriend.” Shuhua returned to the original question, “But to love the house, we must love its crows too. And lots
