Minnie groans. “It’s the apocalypse. I don’t think left and right matter any more.”

Walking hand in hand with Soojin, Shuhua frowns. “Why? Because there’s death, destruction and chaos all around us?” 

“Yes!”

“But what if we turned left and there was less death, destruction and chaos?”

Half a dozen paces ahead, Yuqi snickers. “And a Starbucks.”

“God, coffee would be nice,” Miyeon voices as her feet drag along. 

Soyeon ignores everyone as she treks on.

Shuhua turns to Soojin and mumbles, “I still think we should have turned left.”

Squeezing her hand, Soojin chuckles, “Maybe. But at least we have each other, right?”

“Guys… I need to pee again.”
