“One more round.” 

Soojin sighs. “Shu, we’ve already—”

“One more,” Shuhua raises her fist, stance wide and eyes narrowed. 

“Alright,” Soojin concedes. Feet less than shoulder width apart she half heartedly mirrors Shuhua’s stance, “But this is the last one.” 

There are no words, only a firm nod from Shuhua before she starts, “Rock, paper…” On scissors she s her palm flat. Her posture is confident - sure. 

But when Soojin shows two fingers, Shuhua collapses to the ground in agony. 

“NOOOO!!!” She wails. 

On the couch, Soyeon deadpans, “Can we start the movie now?” 

Shuhua sulks over to the couch. Arms crossed, she whines, “But Soyeon Unnie! I wanted to be the big spoon!” 

Blanket draped over her shoulders, Soojin sits on the couch. “Next time, Shu.”

When Shuhua sits between Soojin’s legs, arms still very crossed, she leans back to show her pout of displeasure. “Promise?”

Wrapping her arms around Shuhua’s waist, Soojin whispers in return, “Promise.”
