Miyeon chuckled, “She has a system.”
“A system?” Minnie asked, brow quirked in curiosity.
"Before she leaves the apartment. Stay over tonight and you'll see."
The next morning, it was an early schedule and, bleary-eyed, Minnie scrambled to collect herself. Halfway into the hall, Miyeon pulled her back.
"Watch," was all Miyeon said, oddly alert for the early hour.
In the entrance, Shuhua stood by the door. Toeing on her shoes, she called aloud, "Shoes." In her hand, she wiggled her wallet and phone, again calling out the items, "Wallet. Phone."
A few moments passed in silence.
Minnie opened to speak, but Miyeon quickly covered her hand over top, shushing her before she could even protest.
With a pinched brow, Shuhua stood in the entrance. When Soojin emerged from the room, head down as she wandered down the hall to choose a pair of shoes, Shuhua brightened. "Jagiya!" The smile was ear to ear.
"Yeah, yeah," Soojin mumbled, accepting Shuhua’s hand after she put on her shoes, "I'm here."
