Chapter 1

Dahyun has been waiting for Momo for an hour in the coffee shop just inside the port. Dahyun arrived early as expected, it was quite a journey as she needed to take the bus from Namwon to Gwangju first then took another one from Gwangju to Wando port. But it will be all worth it when they arrive at Cheongsan-do, especially because there will be Momo as well with her. Her best friend of 10 years. It has been 3 years since Dahyun was assigned to Namwon Public Prosecutor's Office. They have never met each other ever since. Momo traveled in her car from Busan, they are going to meet at Wando port and will take the ferry together to Cheongsando.

Dahyun insisted on traveling to the island with Momo, a month before she pushed Momo to take a break from her dance class to come to the island with her. Dahyun booked a place a month ago and asked Momo to come with her. The past 10 years, it has been the longest period Dahyun and Momo parted with each other. They met at high school and went to the same university together though they took a different major. Dahyun, who always wished to be a lawyer, took Law School while Momo learned about Business Administration in Tourism. Dahyun graduated on time and passed the bar exam in the same year while Momo graduated one year behind Dahyun. Dahyun applied to be a civil servant a year later and was assigned to the Prosecutor's office in her hometown. Soon after Momo graduated she was scouted by one of the big hotels in Busan. Both are busy with their work but still make time to meet up at least once a week, but ever since Dahyun moved to Namwon they weren't able to meet each other, and it has been 3 years now.

As the long holiday was coming up, Dahyun asked Momo to make time for the holiday.

"KIM DUBUUUUUU" Momo shouts from the top of her lungs and doesn't even care when there are so many people at the coffee shop.

"MOMORING!" Dahyun also shouts.

They run towards each other and give a big hug.

"Can't believe that I might say this, but LONG TIME NO SEE" Dahyun said.

"I know right we used to see each other but look at us now, 3 ing years? Gosh, you're too busy, Dahyun-ah" Momo complained.

"I am so sorry, I can't believe that a small city has so many cases every day. But hey, I'm here now. Speaking of having no time, please you are also traveling a lot! You don't have time for me" Dahyun pouted.

"Hehehe you and I both" Momo said.

"Okay, let's go catch the ferry then!" Dahyun said.

Both then head to
