Baekhyun has a theory, but he doesn't know how to confirm it. It took him maybe a little bit too long to come to the conclusion, but when he finally did, he was extremely sure of it.

     I love her. 

     Baekhyun has had his fair share of crushes and infatuation during his past. He might look cold on the outside, he even acts like a tough guy, but of course, he's had a crush. Back in elementary, when Baekhyun was having his lunch alone on their school's playground, Naeun sat with him. And every single day for the rest of that year, they eat together. That was the earliest memory of Baekhyun with romance because, by the end of that school year, he's had his first kiss--an innocent peck on each other's lips that tasted like the strawberry lollipops that they bought from across the street.

     When he was in middle school, Baekhyun liked a girl named Hana. Long story short, she cheated on him with his basketball playmate. He wasn't all that affected by it, though. Baekhyun didn't love her that much to affect him so much that he ended up suddenly sleeping with people and developing his commitment issues. What Hana did to Baekhyun was teach him a valuable lesson in life, at least that's how Baekhyun took it.

     His realization goes like this: Why should I bother dating people exclusively and deprive myself of all of the fun? He never forgave Hana. He didn't think she did anything wrong in the first place. The only mistake they made was believing that they were in love and actually have with only each other. Baekhyun couldn't do that, there are too many choices in the world to choose only one and settle with it. Baekhyun wants to taste them all.

     After graduating high school and finally being an adult, Baekhyun let himself go. He's had a taste of freedom and he wants more. He ended up trying lots of recreational drugs. Nothing gave them the satisfaction he expects. He started sleeping with different people, never the same person twice. And somehow, if he's lucky that night, he'd be extremely satisfied.

     Unlike most girls would hope for, Baekhyun doesn't have a tragic backstory. He ended up the way he was because he wanted to. That was why he assured Seolhee during their first encounters that he never needed saving. No one can fix him, there is nothing to fix. His father is a businessman while her mother is a marketing manager, just an average household if you put it. He didn't grow in an abusive home nor absent patengs. His parents even bought him the house that he's living in for his 21st birthday. So when he moved out, he just became who he is when Seolhee met him.

Seolhee... Speaking of her, Baekhyun is in love with her. He doesn't know when it started. Was it when Seolhee tried to stop him on his motorcycle by using her body, completely unaware of how dangerous it was?
