“How’s your day?” Hyewon started out, Eunbi couldn’t help but chuckle as she saw the younger trying to start small talk as they now were at the spot, eating calmly on a blanket as they just stared at the city view.

“My students are the worst, I know I shouldn’t say that but they're too much.” Eunbi underestimated, Hyewon and let out a sigh as she munched on a sandwich.

“How about detective job?” the younger asked, placing her hand on Eunbi’s shoulder.

“I have to look for this guy, he is suspected for over three murders.” Eunbi commented, Hyewon raises her eyebrows in shock.

“How about you?’ Eunbi asked about Hyewon’s first day.

“I’m almost getting to where I always wanted to be but..now my parents think I have a partner.” Hyewon sighed as she remembered her parents telling her to introduce Eunbi to them.

“Partner?” Eunbi asked, hearing that word, she felt a slight jealousy that Hyewon might be dating someone.

“Because apparently someone told them I was dating someone.” Hyewon clapped her hands together with her lips pursed.

“Yujin or Yena?” Eunbi asked, faking a laugh as her mood went down.

“Both.” Hyewon scoffed, Eunbi lowered her tone of voice before she spoke once again.

“Are you..?”

“Of course not!” Hyewon exclaimed as she waved her hands around, Eunbi couldn’t help but smile in relief.

After that, they were left again in silence, just letting the time pass, it was oddly relaxing, there were constant noises which were only cars honking being heard from the city and some animals making noises once in a while.

“Wanna go break the law?” asked Hyewon all the sudden, Eunbi turned to her with a slightly confused expression.

By a blink of an eye, Eunbi found herself in Hyewon’s car, drifting all over in a parking lot, leaving black rubber marks all over the parking lot.

Hearing a familiar sound, ringing her ears she looks from the window to see a police car arriving, Hyewon who wasn’t aware and was just trying to make art out of black rubber marks continued to drift around the parking lot.

Eunbi quickly jumps on Hyewon’s lap, taking the steering wheel from the younger as she started to take control of the car while Hyewon continued to press on the gas pedal, leading them out of the parking lot.

“Let me drive and we’ll be okay,” said Eunbi as she saw the police car following them with their lights on. “No time for questions, the police arrived and could give you a 1000 dollar fine or some jail time for drifting.”

“You know I can pay-”  Hyewon reasoned, as she slowly s her hands around Eunbi’s waist. Noticing how the girl on her lap face had now slightly reddened she let out an airy chuckle.

“Just keep pressing the gas pedal until I tell you to stop.” Eunbi commanded, Hyewon nodded as she was already pressing it as hard as she could.

Going full speed, Hyewon would constantly take little peeks from Eunbi’s shoulder to see where they’re going.

“We lost them.” Eunbi spoke all the sudden, Hyewon opened her eyes, not realizing she had fallen asleep for at least a couple of minutes while Eunbi helped her escape from trouble. Now pressing the brake to stop them from

“You didn’t have to do that.” Hyewon sheepishly said as she unwrapped her arms from Eunbi’s waist.

“I didn’t want you to be in trouble.” Eunbi assured, keeping them in silence. Unknowingly Hyewon had started to lean closer to Eunbi, going straight for the older’s lips once their lips were a centimeter from touching Eunbi backed away.

“Anyways, I’m tired.” Eunbi hoped of Hyewon’s lap as she came back to her senses not knowing what she almost did.

“Yeah, I-I’ll drop you at the school f-for y-you can get your car.” Hyewon stuttered, as she mentally facepalmed herself realizing the stupid act she did.

“I’m sorry for what I made you go through.” Eunbi apologized as she saw the fellow still processing it.

“It’s okay,” Hyewon gave her a small smile while Eunbi gave her the same type of smile as the two stared lovingly at each other.

“Take care of yourself.” Eunbi bid her goodbye before kissing Hyewon’s cheek, dangerously close to Hyewon’s lips.

Next afternoon

“I miss her,” Hyewon complained as she flipped through her binder of work, Sakura looked up from her video game, giving her a confused look.

“A couple hours passed and you already miss her?” Sakura asked in disbelief, Hyewon stopped looking through the papers.

“She’s special.” Hyewon spoke softly, Sakura stood up and sat in the seat in front of Hyewon.

“And what am I? A roach?” Sakura mocked, Hyewon gave her the side eye and scoffed.

“Well, I bet you miss Chae right now.” Hyewon betted, earning a nod from Sakura.

“I do!” Sakura exclaimed, laying her feet on top of the desk as she rested her back against the seat.

“Let’s change the topic, do you have everything ready?” hearing what they were saying, Hyewon changed the topic.

“Yeah, Mr. Son said he’ll be here in around an hour.” Sakura sat back to normal as she handed Hyewon another binder full of papers.

“Ms. Kang?” The secretary peeks her head through the door, The two girls look over at the door.

“Mr. Son arrived.” she spoke, Hyewon quickly became a mess as she gathered all the necessary papers she needed.

“Oops, an hour passed.” Sakura pursed her lips as she had already checked her watch.

“Tell him to wait for me in the conference room.” Hyewon ordered, the secretary nodded before leaving Hyewon alone.

“Good luck, you'll need it.” Sakura patted the younger’s shoulder before leaving the room, leaving Hyewon to get ready for herself.
