"You looked tense" solar said while looking at moonbyul with concerned eyes

-- "No... it's just that.... because.... nevermind" Moonbyul said, failing to speak coherent phrases 

"You know you're lucky I saw you, it's really dangerous here at night" 

Solar smirked "Where do you live?"

-- "Just drop me off at jeonpo- dong station, I will walk my way on my apartment" 

"You don't really trust me huh?" She left out a chuckle

-- "Yeah, I don't, and please stop babying me, I can take care of myself" 

a minutes of silence filled the atmosphere 

"You know I live near jeonpo-dong, you don't really need to worry, it's convenient though" Yongsun said breaking the ice 

Moonbyul just nodded -- "But what are you doing at the museum? You said you need to leave?"

"Yeah, my dad asked me to do some stuff" 

Moonbyul looked at her with a puzzled expression

Yongsun laughed before she spoke "I thought you knew, my dad is the director he's also kinda involved in politics these days"

-- "Director? What do you mean?" 

Yongsun looked at her in disbelief "Kim hyun soo, my Dad, the director of that.....museum. Busan isn't even that big, byul"

Moonbyul covered mouth in shock -- "Whoa I told you! I was right! You're hella rich!" 

"Hey, don't say that! I'm not rich, my parents are" 

-- "I know, but I am aware that almost all politicians here in busan are from kims and joos, I'm just surprised that your father is one of them"

Yongsun just hummed and went back to focus on the road

"Thank god it's not rush hour, there's no traffic"

Moonbyul is looking at the window and she nodded

"By the way byul, I have a feeling that you're smart, why didn't you studied at Seoul? I think you are also qualified at SNU"

-- "My first choice is SNU, I even passed the exams" byul smiled bitterly "Its just that, life has different plans for me and life was hard back then. I'm the eldest so I need to take care of my sisters, and moving to Seoul will cost us a lot of money. No one can support me specially when my dad's not even supportive about the program I chose" she said, still looking at the window 

"That's sad, but I'm happy you still took the program you like, good for you" She glanced at Moonbyul to check on her

"I was also qualified in SNU, you might be wondering why I'm not in Seoul despite all this wealth"

Moonbyul looked at her this time -- "Yeah, why didn't you chose SNU"

"I actually passed the exams too, but my mom bribed someone to get my name on the top 10. It would be ironic if I will become a lawyer, but a product of bribery. I also can't leave Busan, this is my home and I have a huge responsibility here"

Moonbyul looked at her in admiration, she thought if she were in her place, she will not back down, many people are dying to study in SNU but Yongsun gave it up. 

-- "Why? Are you gonna be a politician too?" She said, making yongsun laugh

"You're good at guessing huh? Maybe yes? I don't know"

In a short time they reached jeonpo-dong station. Yongsun was about to stop the car at the side of the road when she noticed a group of drunk men walking in a zigzag direction, she assumed byul might walk across them if she let her leave alone

"Tell me the direction to your apartment byul-ssi"

-- "No, just drop me off here. It's just a few blocks from here"

Yongsun pretended not hearing anything and went to drive past the street. Byul had no choice but to tell Yongsun the directions to her apartment. 

"Are we here?" Yongsun said

-- "yeah, thank you for the ride" she took her bag and gave Yongsun her remaining club sandwich she bought "Here, I heard your stomach growled, it's not fresh but you can heat it when you got home" she said looking at the ground, avoiding Yongsun's eyes

"You don't really need to, but thanks anyway" she replied feeling flustered after hearing what byul said

'Oh my god that was embarrassing' she thought

Moonbyul left the car and walked her way to her apartment.

Yongsun felt that she needed to do something. She looked at byul and she left her car and ran to her

"BYUL!"

Mooonbyul was taken aback and looked behind her, she was shocked to see Yongsun shouting her name and running towards her.

"Your number, please" she said reaching Moonbyul's hand while giving her phone. She was panting, chasing her breath

-- "What?!" Moonbyul almost shouted 

"I'm interested in you" she observed Moonbyul's reaction to her words "You're cute and I want to be friends with you. I won't bother you, I promise"

she was flustered, her cheeks flushing red. She took the phone and entered her number. 

-- "Friends?"

"Yeah, so you won't call me a stranger the next time we meet"

Moonbyul bid a goodbye and went on her apartment running 

'Oh my god, i freaked her out. She looks so straight what should I do?' 

Yongsun went to her car to scream internally, covering and face, and smiling throughout her ride back home.

'Oh my god she looks so cute' 

Moonbyul's POV

'She's intereste- what? Oh my god'

'I must be crazy, she said she wants to be friends with me'

'What's happening to me oh god'

'Stop overthinking byul'

I ruffled the insides of my bag to look for the key. I slowly opened the door and I was shocked to see mom laying on the couch, waiting for me

"Moon byulyi, do you know what time it is? You should've texted me. Have you eaten dinner?"

-- "Not yet mom, I will shower first"

'Thank god, Mom didn't scold me' 

I finished my dinner and immediately went to my room to finish some work and requirements. *yawns* 'I'm so tired, gosh, I can't feel my legs' 

I propped myself to bed and closed my eyes. 'I really need to stop thinking about Yongsun'

The next morning

Moonbyul woke up to the sound of her phone vibrating. She checked the time 'it's too early' she checked her phone to see a message from an unknown number

Hi, good morning this is Yongsun.

I hope you slept well last night 😊

Hi, this is Byul. Thanks for the ride

You must be busy. Do you have

have any classes today?

I don't but I have rehearsals

Moonbyul saved Yongsun's number to her contacts before taking a bath

Moonbyul checked her phone immediately after taking a bath. She smiled upon seeing the last message

"Hey, Ahn hyejin!"

-- "Oh unnie! Come here, I'm gonna introduce you to my friend. She's from the same program as me but we're not on the same class"

"Is she in charged with the music too?"

-- "yeah, we're going to sing for you so do your job properly Ms. Leading lady" 

"Stop! You're pressuring me"moonbyul said, laughing as her indian dimples were appearing 

Hyejin went to look for her friend, she waved her hand as their eyes meet. She grab her friend by the hand and ran to where byul is

"Unnie, this is my friend wheein"

-- "Hello, I'm Byul, I'm gonna be the main lead of the prod" she smiled shyly

"I'm Kim Wheein, you're really a good actress unnie. I've been watching you since day 1" 

-- "Oh really? Thank you!"

Suddenly the stage director called Moonbyul to instruct her about something. She went back on her rehearsals when one of the actors called her backstage.

"Byulyi-ssi, your phone is ringing"

She mouthed a thank you and rushed to the backstage to check who's calling. 'Is that Yongsun?' She thought to herself

She grabbed her phone and her smile disappeared upon seeing who the caller was. 'Kang Seulgi'

"Hmm?" She asked in monotone

-- "Can I copy your work in contemporary arts?"

"B*tch you interrupted me for that? You didn't even pick me up last night!"

-- "okay I'm sorry, I will treat you luch for a week"

"Nah"

-- "for 2 week?"

"Bye"

-- "how about for a month?"

"Deal, come here before 4pm"

-- "Thanks byul! Love you"

"Eww" and she hang up her phone

she casually looked at her phone to see if Yongsun texted her but there's no traces of Yongsun. She continued her rehearsal and helped other actors about their difficulties. Seulgi came and went to Byul.

"Check my bag, at the backstage. Ask the people there if you can't find it"

Seulgi nodded while signing her hand to byul to go away. Seulgi found Byul's bag in no time and surprised to see byul's phone inside.

'She didn't even tried to hide her phone, she's not afraid to get her phone stealed' seulgi said nodding her head. She took byul's notebook and was about to close the zipper when the phone vibrated. She took it, thinking it's an important message but she was surprise to see the name of the sender

Hi byul! I'm done with my classes

I'm bored, are you busy? 

'Kim Yongsun? Sounds familiar' and her eyes widen after remembering Yongsun. She rushed to byul teasing her.

"Hey! How come you're close to yongsun of Dong-A University and I have no idea?"

Moonbyul panicked and grabbed her phone from seulgi -- "I don't need to tell you everything"

"Well I'm going to tell everyone"

-- "Stop! What's wrong with you?"

"Hey b*tch, everyone's dying to date yongsun. Can I get her number, for future references" then she winked

-- "In your dreams!"

"Why? Are you jealous?"

-- "jealous? Please, I'm straight"

"Yeah, straight as a circle" seulgi said while laughing

Moonbyul glared at her and asked her to leave.

Yongsun smiled after seeing the cute emoji. 'She still can be cute through text, I'm melting' she thought

Yongsun can't help but smile from ear to ear after her small conversation with byul. She wished it's 6pm already. 

"Unnie, would you come with us at the club, we're going to stay for an hour only" Hyejin said approaching byul

-- "Ah, I'm sorry hyejin-ah I already have plans" she said pounting

"To study?"

-- "Well no, I'm going to meet a friend at-" 

before she can complete her sentence she was interrupted 

"UNNIE!!!! YOU PROMISED!!!" 

-- "I know, but I already said yes to this friend"

"Wait, 6pm to meet a friend? But meeting me at 4pm is late for you? Okay I get it unnie" 

-- "Hey, don't get mad"

"Who said I'm mad? It's obviously a date! I've never seen you sacrifice your dear schedule for a friend so I think this is someone really special" she said raising her eyebrow

"Who is he?"

Moonbyul just stared at hyejin and didn't reply. She contemplated on hyejin's remark about going on 'the date'

'Am I really crossing the lines?'

'Is that a date?'

'She would've tell me if it's a date'

'But it's her favorite cafe'
