The board meeting is over and Yuri walk out to meet Suho waiting for her.   “Suho-ah, you can have the day off. I’m going to see my grand father then I’ll just hang out with Yoona.”   “Dae Miss Kwon! If you need anything, just give me a call.”   “Ok.” Yuri said and Suho bow politely and left.   “Yuri!” Yuri heard her name and turn around to see her father walking toward her.   “Nae?”   “Come to my office.”   “Wae? I already did what you told me to do.”   “Let’s have a coffee together.”   “Nae.” Yuri follow her father to his office.   “Sit down.” He said once they are inside the office.   His secretary came in with a tray of coffee and put it on the coffee table and left.   Yuri didn’t say anything, but it feels very awkward when her father suddenly acting this way.   “I just want to say thank you for voting for me.”   “You don’t have to say that. I just did what I should do. Grandpa build this empire by himself and as his grand daughter, I should do whatever it takes to protect it.” Yuri said and sipped on her coffee.   “He never trust me enough to hand it over.”    “What make you say that?”   “He made you the biggest share holder, isn’t it clear enough?”   “He has his reason.”   “And what could that be? He just couldn’t trust me and he wants you to be the one who get to decide if I could do it or not.”   “And that make you hate me even more?”   “I never hate you Yuri-ah. You are my daughter. Who in their right mind trying to hate their daughter?”   “I don’t know Appa! You cast me away when you get divorce. Then you tried to break me apart from the girl I love. If this isn’t hate, then I don’t know what is.”   “I’m sorry about that. I just want you to know that I just did what every parents in this world trying to do to protect their children. And I didn’t cast you away Yuri-ah. I’m sorry I made you feel that way, but I just can’t stand looking at you. As you were growing up, you always remind me of your mother when I first fall in love with her.”   “So you hate that I look like Omma? Why did you hate her anyway?”   “Your mother never love me. She marry me because of our family. She was desperate and need money to save her family. I fell in love with her the first time I saw her, and I was crazy to believe that it was all true. She tried to get divorce ever since you turn 3 years old, but your grand father paid her and made her signed the contract to stay until you turn 18 before we could get divorce.” Mr Kwon said and Yuri tried to maintain her reaction. She was shock to hear the story from her father.   “And you thought that Yoona is the same as Omma?”   “Part of it yes and I couldn’t believe that you are in love with a girl. I thought it was foolish and that you two will grow out of it after being separate. I didn’t know that she’s such a capable person.”   “Not every girl is the same as Omma. You should know that when you remarried.”   “I admit that I let emotion gets involve with my judgement.”   “If you say all these just to get me to give you all my share, you don’t have to do it.”   “Aniyah. You can keep it. I’m getting older too. I will need my daughter to help me in the future.” Mr Kwon said and Yuri could feel the sincerity from him. It was surprising, but Yuri was glad to hear it from her father.   “You know that I have no interest with all those thing. I will still give the management right to you Appa. Just ask Mr Kim to give me the paper work.”   “Just keep that option open Yuri-ah.”   “I will go and see grandpa now.” Yuri said and get up from her seat.   “You should come home more often. Krystal always looking forward to see you. You should start bonding with your sister.”   “So you don’t mind seeing Yoona more often?”    “Since you are going to marry her, I don’t think I have other choice.”   “I will try to get to know Krystal, so you should give Yoona a chance too. You will love her when you get to know her. Plus, we are getting married after Grandpa gets better.” Yuri said and bow politely then left.   What she didn’t know is that Mr Kwon has observed Yoona for a long time. It’s hard not to notice her when she’s very well known during her school year, not just for her beautiful face, but the girl always come first in every subject.    Mr Kwon has a lot of friend who teaches in Seoul University and all his friend told him to scout her and but Yoona applied even before he did, so it’s a win win for Mr Kwon. What surprise him is that those two would still attach to each other even they didn’t contact each other for 10 years. It’s fascinating. He didn’t want to believe that it’s true love that they have, but to his expense that two really love each other and they are just meant to be together.    He finally give up on trying to marry Yuri off to a guy. He decide to let his daughter have the happiness that she deserve. She never thought that her father had gone through such heartache before. She walk out of the elevator and saw Yoona waiting for her.   “Yoong!” Yuri run toward Yoona who sat in front of the VVIP room.   “Yul!”   “What are you doing? Why did you just sit here by yourself? You should go inside.”   “I was waiting for you to greet him together.”   “You were shy, weren’t you?”   “Aniya. I just want to wait for you. Come on let’s go inside.”   “Let’s go!” Yuri hold onto Yoona’s hand as they enter the room. “Good morning Grandpa!”   “Yuri-ah You came! Oh you even bring a beautiful woman with you today.”   “Anneyeonghaseyo chairman!” Yoona bow politely at him.   “How’s your trip Yoona-ah? I hope Yuri didn’t bother you while you were on vacation.”   “No not at all sir! I’m so happy that she could come with me to greet my late parents while we were in Jeju.”   “That’s great.”   “Of course grandpa. I’m not a trouble maker.”   “Well you can be such a baby sometimes.”   “Grandpa! I never did that.” Yuri whined.   “Uh oh you just did.” He said making Yoona laugh along with him. Yuri just pout cutely and hug her grand father.   “How are you feeling today?”   “I feel good Yuri-ah. You don’t have to worry.”   “I’ve talk to Taehee unnie and we’ve come to the conclusion that you will need a minor surgery. Unnie and Yoona convinced me that Dr Lee will do a good job with your surgery. What do you think grandpa?”   “I know and heard a lot of good thing about him Yuri-ah. I don’t trust him just because I’ve been friend with his grand father for a long time, but I trust him as a doctor. So you don’t have to worry about it ok?”   “If you say so, then it’s decided. Yoona will be his assistant in the OR.”   “I’m in a good hand then.”    “Grandpa, actually we have something to tell you.”   “Oh really? What is it?” He asked. Yuri hold onto Yoona’s hand and stand next to her.   “I proposed to Yoona and she said Yes.” Yuri announced proudly and Yoona shyly chuckle next to her.   “Wow! Congratulation you two. I can’t wait to join your wedding. Have you choose the date?”   “Not yet sir! We will wait until you are fully recover first.”   “Yes Grandpa, so you have to recover fast so that I can finally marry my girl.” Yuri said jokingly making Yoona and her grandfather laugh.   “You guys give me such a great news, I feel like I’m all heal. Why don’t you just do it before the surgery?” Mr Kwon was scared that something bad happen during the surgery and he couldn’t walk Yuri down the aisle.   “Hahaha.. you are so funny grandpa. You will be fine after the surgery. We will be waiting.”   “Okay fine!” Mr Kwon said in defeat at the end and Yuri chuckle at him.   “So grandpa we will go and see Taehee unnie and Dr Lee to discuss about the detail and choose the surgery date. I will come and see you again tomorrow okay?”   “Ok. Have a good day you both.”   “You too sir! Have a good rest.” Yoona bid him goodbye while Yuri kiss his cheek before finally leave the room to talk to Dr Kim and Dr Lee.     * The meeting ends well and the two decide to have lunch at the hospital’s cafeteria.    “Let’s call Jessica to have lunch with us.” Yuri said.   “Sure!”   Yuri texted Jessica to meet them at the cafeteria. After 15 minutes Jessica join them with her lunch tray.   “Hey Yoona! Kwon Yuri is such a cheap person don’t you think?”   “Yah!” Yuri scolded her, but Yoona is amused.   “Haha wae?”   “You two are on your day off and she should invite you to a nice place, but instead she take you here.”   “Aniya. I like the food here.”   “Omg! You both really meant to be together.” Jessica said in defeat while Yuri just laugh in her face and snuggle closer to Yoona.   “Hey Yul! We are in the hospital.” Yoona scold as Yuri forgot that it’s their work place.   “Hehe sorry! We are on our day off, so I forgot.” Yuri said and wink.   “Oh please stop all the sweetness. I’m going to get undigested.”   “Bear with it. Sooyoung will give you some later.” Yuri stick her tongue out at Jessica.   “Can you two just eat in peace for once?” Yoona finally said and the two stop fighting. Yoona just shake her head at the two kids.   “So Yul, I went to see your grandfather this morning. He seems to get a lot better.”   “Yeah I just came back from seeing him. He seems good, but we still have to keep him here
