The very next day, Tiffany brought in a friend to work. She must be the Hyoyeon girl that she was talking about in the meeting last night. She seemed really peppy and motivated so she'll definitely be a great addition to Flower Power. I'm really glad that the staff is expanding. The more help we get, the easier things can get around here especially on busy nights. With more staff, there wouldn't be much strain on us either if someone wanted to call the day off at any point.

"Hello, I'm Hyoyeon. It is nice to meet you all," the blonde haired girl introduced herself before all of us.

After meeting all of the staff, Yuri brought Hyoyeon to the back office to have her sign paperwork. Half an hour passed by and Hyoyeon seemed ready to go to work immediately. That's the spirit.

Soon, one of the busiest days started. Not long after, customers started coming in as if they have been waiting for us to open. Most of the customers fawned over Jessica and requested to talk to her while Tiffany kept her clients entertained. Jessica was being pulled left and right while Yuri watched, amused to the show. I glared at her and she seemed to have noticed as she turned to me.

"What?!" Yuri scoffed, "I'm just happy that she's well-liked by the customers. You really did bring such a good addition to the team, my protege."

"I'm glad you're enjoying the scene happening in your very eyes right now," I mocked, "but it seems she took some of your clients. Aren't you upset about that?"

"No," Yuri shook her head, "this is my business. The more customers come in, the more profit I get," she laughed evily. I cannot even deal with this woman right now.

"Remember, Taeyeon," she pulled me closer with her arm over my shoulders, "it's all business. We could be the biggest host club around here if we want to be. There's not much competition either so I'm sure we can achieve the top."

"What happened to making sure customers feel welcomed?" I questioned.

"Obviously I want that as well, but think about it," Yuri responded as she waved her hand in thin air, envisioning a picture in her head, "the bigger we get, the more successful this bar gets. We'll be popular among gents and especially ladies. Do you even know how many closeted people there are in South Korea? Tons! And we are here to provide that service to those deprived of them."

"Don't tell me..." I murmured.

There was a brief pause before Yuri got my idea.

"Yah!" she pushed me off a bit, "never! And you guys are not ever allowed to, remember that. It will stain the rule we have in this bar. We treat every customer with respect and give them a relief through company... not the bed!"

"Good," I sighed in relief, "I thought you were going to head towards that path."

"Taeyeon, just what do you take me for?"

"I don't know... you were getting a bit greedy..."

"Aigoo..." Yuri shook her head, "of course I want everyone to have the most pleasant experience ever and relieve them of their daily stresses by coming over here and feeling at home. But business is business. Of course I also want some profit. But I also wouldn't stain my business like that. If any of you end up in bed with any of the customers, how would you think the other customers would feel? That's just a bit unfair isn't it?"

"Make sure you keep that word," I warned her.

"Do you want to keep your job?" she warned me back.

"Yes boss," I sighed.

"Now stop having those kinds of thoughts and get back to work!"

I looked over at Jessica and saw how much she was having fun with the customers with drinks and whatnot. It seems like she'll be drunk by the end of the night at this point. Hopefully she could hold her liquor. I focused back on making drink orders right after. Sometimes, Yuri had to help me but I could handle it myself. However, I couldn't help but get distracted about how much Jessica is enjoying it here. I guess it's good that she's a bit distracted.

"Taeyeon," Yoona called.

"W-What's up?" I turned my head towards her.

"What are you doing?" she asked, looking at the drink in my hand and back onto me.

I looked down and realized I've been overpouring my drink. I quickly tipped the glass over a little on the sink to help reduce some of the content on the glass and set it aside before I cleaned my hands off. I could hear Yoona snicker in the meantime. She must have noticed me getting a bit distracted.

"You're going to take her home, don't worry," she smirked.

"Yah! Leave me be, will you," I sneered.

"C'mon Taeyeon. At some point, you'll give in and realize you have an actual crush with Jessica."

"Over my dead body!"

"Right, right," Yoona nodded as she giggled.

Jessica is just a neighbor... well now a co-worker too. I will never have a crush for that damn creep!

The busy night has finally ended. We were now able to go home. We huddled over for our night meeting and discussed how successful and well-organized the night was. Having Hyoyeon as an addition was a definite benefit to the bar tonight especially with how busy it usually got, but busier more than ever this time as old customers brought in new ones just to have a chance to talk to Jessica.

"Thank you for tonight. Get home safe, everyone!" Yuri announced.

I escorted Jessica, who was clearly buzzed with all the drinks she was given or made to drink, upon going home. We stopped by the convenience store on the way first to grab her a bottle of water and a few pills that may help with a possible hangover she may have the next day. I also wondered if she wanted to eat so before I left her seated on one of the seats in the convenience store, I asked her if she wanted some instant ramen or anything.

"I'm fine. I just want to drink something else at this point," Jessica told me as her head was resting on the palm of her hand, her elbow resting on the table.

"Alright, I'll get something real quick. I'll be back so hang in there," I told her before going around the convenience store for necessary things.

"Okay," Jessica gave an 'okay' sign.

I searched around the convenience store for some headache pills, a bottle of water, and some electrolytes. I've dealt helping out my co-workers way too many times when they got drunk at work and couldn't help themselves after. After purchasing the items, I walked over to where Jessica was and handed her the plastic bag that contained the items.

"Here, hold it," I told her as she took the bag from my hand.

"Thanks," she simply responded.

I helped her get up from her seat as we continued our way towards the apartment complex. It seemed like a long way down as I was supporting her weight with all the strength and energy I had left within myself. The girl wreaked of alcohol and it really makes me want to puke. For however long I've been experienced in handling these situations, this is one thing I could never get used to.

Finally, we reached the apartment complex. I decided to let her sleep on my room instead of me dropping her off in her room. I feel to liable in case she vomits and chokes on it. That would be the last thing I want in my conscience. Zero greeted us as he wagged his little tail and I acknowledged his presence before I focused back into getting Jessica on the bed. She groaned as I laid her down and pulled the sheets off of her body in order to tuck her in. Either this girl is really heavy or I'm just really weak.

Zero barked in the background, to signal that he needs to go potty. I grabbed a glass of water for Jessica, setting it at the bedside table, before taking care of Zero's needs. I'm sure Jessica would be alright if I slip off even just for a few minutes, hopefully. I fed Zero and watched as he munched on his food. As soon as he was done, I put his leash on and took him outside, double checking on Jessica to make sure the girl is alright.

My nights alone with Zero is so fulfilling. Night time is so peaceful since there isn't much noise and people. The starlit sky is another thing that adds to the beauty and peace of night time. I watched as Zero did his business making sure he did a number one and number two. After confirming, I took a doggy bag to pick up his poop and threw it in the designated trash can before heading off back into the apartment.

As I got back, I took the nearby wipes and wiped his areas, his snout, and his paws, before releasing him off of the leash. He happily shook himself and adjusted himself in his own bed. I went to the bathroom afterwards to wash my hands and prep myself for bed. It was my usual routine on the days I worked. Before heading to sleep, I checked on Jessica again to make sure the girl is still doing alright. All I heard were light snores, which told me she was going to be fine. I smiled and walked over to my couch to prep myself to sleep.

The next morning, or afternoon rather, I woke up to Zero's kisses. I wondered what time it was and it was around 12PM. I groaned and stretched soon after I sat up from the couch. I wasn't used to sleeping on the couch and found my back aching a bit. Maybe I also slept wrong, who knows? I stood up to check on Jessica and it seemed like she was still sleeping soundly.
