I've been thinking about getting a job for Jessica. I don't even know why I'm this concerned about this girl as she's a complete stranger that just so happens to be my new neighbor. Having her join in as a janitor in the Flower Power bar will definitely benefit me. In all honesty, Jessica doesn't look bad herself so she may be able to bring in new customers and possibly have them stay as a loyal Flower Power customer. Won't be a bad idea for the business but it will be a bad idea for me since I know she's going to be bothering me at work everytime. Eitherway, I've decided to help the girl out and reach out to Yuri about possibly bringing her in as our new team member.

"Hello?" Yuri answered the phone in a groggy voice. It is now 2PM. I wonder if she's been up late or if she normally sleeps in until opening time. "Kim Taeyeon, why are you calling me at this hour?"

"I'm really sorry but hear me out real quick," I told her in an apologetic tone, "remember Jessica, my new neighbor?"

"Ahhh yes, that one y neighbor you have that have the hots for you," Yuri said in a sleezy tone and laughed out loud afterwards.

"Hush, I'm here to talk about business."

"Alright, alright. So what is Jessica going to bring to the table, my protegee?" Yuri fixed her joking tone.

"She's interested in becoming a janitor at our bar," I told her, going straight to the point, "with her addititon to the bar, I'm sure we could bring in more customers."

"More like she will be my new competition," Yuri giggled, "but I'm down with the idea. Come in with her during opening so we can get her introduced to the rest of the crew."

"Really?" I asked, surprised she immediately accepted the idea, "thank you. I'll let her know."

"Mind sending her phone number over so I can add her to the group chat as well? Unless she has Kakaotalk and I can just add her through her ID."

"I don't think I have her details. You'll just have to ask her when she comes in." Why would I have her details anyway?

"Seriously? You didn't get her number yet or she never gave you her details at all?" she seemed so flabbergasted about the fact that my new neighbor and I aren't that acquainted yet. Again, she's my new neighbor and I don't know how I can trust her... Meanwhile she's already been inside my apartment.

"You can ask for her details later, Yuri. Go back to sleep!" I yelled and hung up on her. I know she would just continue to tease me about the fact that I don't have Jessica's information. Again, I don't need it. The girl bothers me everyday I'm trying to relax in my balcony or at the dog park within the apartment area anyway.

Night time was coming and it was time to go to work. I knocked on Jessica's door to let her know the news about coming in as a new staff member in the bar so she can start getting ready for her new work. As soon as the door opened, I saw Jessica in a ponytail, white top and black ... wait what?!

"Jessica!" I yelled and pushed her inside, immediately closing the door behind me, "just what are you thinking?!"

"What do you mean?" she sounded confused.

"Do you just open the door in your underwear?!" I asked in a reprimanding way.

"I don't think anybody else would be knocking on my door besides you since you're the only one I know of around here," she told me nonchalantly.

"What if there's strangers coming in the apartment?! You're ridiculous!"

"They have to enter with a card to go through the apartment complex?"

"What about the neighbors?"

"Again, you're the only one I know of and I haven't done anything to annoy the other neighbors."

"What about the landlord?!"

"If the landlord needs anything, they would usually send paper mail or call me through my phone number."

I stood in front of her, all quiet. I am out of ideas. Even so, is this how she wants to greet me or does she just not care at all about modesty?

"Alright, I'll go put on some shorts," Jessica sighed and walked to her bedroom, "make yourself comfortable."

I sat on her couch. The room seemed to open up a bit more. When I saw her room the other time, boxes were still piled up. It seems like she's already adjusted all her belongings in the apartment. It looked like someone actually lived here now.

A few seconds after, Jessica came out of her room and went to her kitchen. She brought out two cups of coffee and set one in front of me while she went around the coffee table to sit at the open space next to me, leaving some distance between me and her.

"What's up? Did you finally want to do the y?" she giggled.

"Stop joking around," I sighed, "anyway, I came here to tell you that I reached out to my boss, Yuri, and got you in for that janitorial job we talked about."

Jessica seemed delighted and took a sip of her coffee.

"So, you were concerned about me," she giggled once again.

"I'm walking out the door if you don't stop," I threatened.

"Fine, fine. Thank you," she smiled genuinely.

"With that said, I need you to hurry up and get dressed. Work starts in an hour and it's a 30 minute walk from here if you remember."

"I wouldn't know. I took a cab over there since I was still unfamiliar with this area. Maybe you should take a stroll with me and show me around some time," she suggested.

"Are you asking that to be sleezy or did you really want me to show you around because you actually want to know the area?" Knowing her with the personality she's shown me for some time, she may just be fooling around.

"How about both?" she giggled, "I'm just trying to be sleezy with you because you piqued my interest, but also the fact that I want to know my ways around the area in case I need something, like groceries, medicine, or just a quick convenience store stop."

Aigoo this girl... Piqued her interest? What the hell is interesting about me anyway? Wait, why am I doubting myself?

"We can plan for that later but I do need you to get ready. We can walk together over there so you know your way around," I told her as I stood up to get back to my apartment.

"Wait," she stopped me, "you can just chill here for a second and finish your coffee. I know you'll need it for tonight," she smiled and chuckled, "I promise I won't do anything you don't want. Since you seem ready to go to work anyway, you can relax for a bit and we can start heading out."

As much of a sleezeball move that was, I agreed to stay in and finish the coffee she has offered as long as there wasn't any tricks up her sleeve. She's also right with the fact that I do need the caffeine for tonight even though I already drank my cup of coffee earlier. Hopefully I don't need to run to the bathroom with two cups of coffee in my system.

When Jessica got done getting ready for work, we started our 30 minute walk towards the bar. Jessica seems to like white tees as that's mostly what I've seen her wear the whole time I've seen her. It's not that she doesn't look good on it, but she seems to have a preference. She wore light make up and skinny jeans. Her hair was up on a neat poyntail. The smell of roses surrounded her.

"Since, we're walking there anyway, you could also see what's around you so count this as my way of showing you around the area," I told her. I thought of it last minute. It would only make sense.

"But you're not showing me the whole perimeter," Jessica was disappointed, "what about the stuff on the other direction?"

She's not wrong.

"I'll show you around next time I guess. Meanwhile, you can see the things in this direction. As you can see from here, there's a convenience store on your right so if you need some quick meal, or anything or a small emergency, you can stop by there. If you don't know yet, you can also sit in and eat the quick meal you bought from there," I added. Since she's from the US, I doubt she really knew about that.

"That sounds like a date to me," she giggled.

"A date?"

"Yeah," she smiled at me, "I'm sure we'll be tired from walking so we can have a small date at the convenience store. Or maybe even tonight after work. My treat!"

"I don't pass down free food... but I usually just go straight home, drink a cup of tea, and go to sleep for the night."

"Then we can possibly do that next time. We could even bring Zero so he can have h
