The apartment next door recently became vacant. I've been living here for about two years now and have seen new faces every once in a while as rooms become available. I was used to my old neighbor with how quiet they were so I was sad that they were leaving. Now I'm just wondering how the next new neighbor would be once the leasing agents acquire someone and approve of them to stay in the community.

Not too long after the apartment next to mine got cleaned up, someone came in for a showing. I was sitting on my balcony, enjoying the afternoon sun with iced coffee beside me at my porch table while I'm relaxing on my porch chair, playing with the games on my phone. Suddenly, I saw a leasing staff at the vacant apartment's balcony. She seemed to be talking to someone, probably one of the people interested in the unit.

"Everything seems quite alright so far since I'm going to be living by myself anyway," a voice of a woman echoed. She had a sweet voice and is probably someone around my age.

"Did you have any questions?" the leasing agent asked. I was listening in to their conversation this time instead of focusing on my game.

"Can I have every details about the intial payments I need to make and an approximate monthly expenses if anything."

"Ah yes, here I printed one off for you," the leasing agent told the woman and handed it to her.

There was a short silence before the possible tenant erupted.

"This much for admin and community fee?!"

"Ah... yes ma'am. But the community fee is just a one time payment. You'll never have to worry about it anymore for as long as you stay here."

"Yes but the gym isn't even that well equipped. It needs improvement, more machines, and better equipment! Also, the pool isn't that big either! Plus you're already charging this much rent for a rather small room!"

"But ma'am you have to understand that we give top quality service compared to the other apartments around the area," the leasing agent told the woman and turned towards me, as if begging me to help her out, "Ms. Kim over here would also agree about our care we give our residents."

I nodded my head. After all, I'm sure it was the first time that the leasing agent dealt with someone as demanding as this woman.

"I must agree that I've received top quality service in this apartment complex. Everything I had a problem with, they dealt with in a timely manner," I raised my voice as I said good things about the community, hoping the woman could hear since she was inside the apartment.

I saw as the woman peeked outside to see who it was saying all these things. I was shocked to see a face of a really good-looking woman. Her eyes were cat-like and she had straight golden brown hair.
