Unexpected 

“Jaemin, we need to talk.” Jaemin sighed, preparing himself for a scolding from Jeno. He figured this was going to happen eventually. Of course, Jeno would be pissed at him for leaving Chaerin at the party. He stared at his friend in confusion, waiting for him to say something. Jeno sighed and pulled down the neckline of his shirt a little bit, revealing a small bruised area on his skin, “So, this happened.”

Jaemin’s eyes widened in surprise, “You found some chick and hooked up with her and Chae didn’t know?” Jeno sighed once again. Jaemin was so slow sometimes. “Chae is the chick, Jaemin.” Jeno said, rolling his eyes.

“Oh.” The boy said blankly before properly registering the entire thing in his head, eventually shouting in surprise, “Wait what?! You guys ed last night?! How and why?!”

“I don’t know, Jaemin! I don’t know why! We were just having a heated argument and it just happened and we were drinking quite a bit at the party if that counts.”

“It must have been one heated argument, huh?” Jeno punched Jaemin on the arm as he caught the boy smirking at him teasingly.

“Why were you fighting anyway?”

“I didn’t like how all the disgusting men were hitting on her.” Jaemin smiled and elbowed Jeno’s side. “You’re jealous~” He watched his best friend immediately blush in response, burying his face in his hands.

“Okay, I might’ve been, but there’s a bigger problem. I think I’m the one more worked up about it. She freaked out of course, but then just shrugged it off saying it was because we drank. And for me...ugh. I don’t know! Just ing kill me already!” Jaemin hasn’t seen Jeno this stressed over a girl in a long time and it was honestly quite amusing.

“Look, maybe she is right. Maybe it was the bit of alcohol you guys had. I wouldn’t think much of it if she isn’t.” Jaemin said, patting him on the back.

Jeno honestly didn’t know what to do. He wasn’t used to this feeling. Typically, he never minded flirting with her. Anything that would normally be crossing the line never bothered him. Giving kisses and hugging her randomly was part of his way of teasing her. Showing affection was normal for him. He found it amusing. He didn’t think much of it; he never did. Well that is, until now.

After a couple of days, things basically went back to how they were before the party. Jeno convinced himself to just forget about it since Chaerin didn’t seem very concerned about it. They were back to being themselves around each other. Their bickering came back quickly and frankly, Jaemin wasn’t happy
