A week later ...

Ara parted ways with Kia and Disya at the airport. They both took direct flights from Chiang Mai to Singapore meanwhile Ara took a flight back to Bangkok. Ara got a night flight, because the other flights were fully booked. Ara already contacted her uncle that the flight will be on schedule. Arriving at Suvarnabhumi Airport, Ara saw that her uncle was waiting for her in front of the arrival door.

"Uncle ..", Ara gave her greetings

"Wow ... You've changed a lot, haven't you? How's your holiday? Fun?", His uncle returned the greeting, then takes her bag.

"Yeahh .. I brought you souvenirs. How are you uncle? Healthy, right?"

"As you can see"

"Anyway .. Did you only carry this bag? don't bring a suitcase?"

Ara sighed, "A lot of bad luck happened to me when I arrived in Bangkok last week."

Her uncle Ara took Ara to the parking lot to get his car. Ara tells what happened to him when she arrived in Bangkok. Ara told how her suitcase was swapped, the person carrying the suitcase which was difficult to reach, then in the end, the suitcase's lost. 

"Did that person compensate you for your suitcase?", her uncle asked.

"I just told him that if he can't find my suitcase it's okay, but if he does, I ask him to let me know."

"You are too kind, let uncle help you .."

"No need uncle, a few days ago he said that he found my suitcase. When he left my suitcase at work, the janitor kept it in the warehouse because no one knows whose suitcase belongs when he asked. So I'll take it tomorrow.", Ara explained.

They both decide to go out to dinner before they go home. Her uncle took Ara to a Chinese restaurant. During dinner, his uncle asked about Ara's education.

"Do you want to work for Uncle's company after you graduate?", her Uncle asked, "Singto is currently pursuing his career as an actor and his older sister is busy taking care of her family and twins. So no one helps uncle in the company."

"Singto is an actor now?", Ara was surprised to hear that, because the Singto she knew didn't talk much.

"You don't know? Aren't you close to him?", her uncle asked.

"It's been a long time since I had contact with him, and also I changed my number and didn't have time to tell him because of my study and ....", Araa sighed and fell silent.

"Ara ... I've heard from your father about your mother.", Her uncle spoke softly as Ara lowered her head and kept silent, "After your aunt's death, uncle also felt how your mother felt. Uncle can't believe your aunt left us so quickly."

"All this time, uncle did not dare to visit your family, because I'm afraid that if I meet your mother, it will remind me with your late aunt.", He took a deep breath, Ara heard a sad voice from him, "It took a long time for my uncle to accept your aunt's death, Uncle loves your aunt very much. I have talked about this with your father, and he understands uncle's decision to distance from your family. Unexpectedly 6 years have passed ..."

"I'm sorry uncle .. ", 

Ara continued to lower her head, not daring to look at her uncle. Without realizing it, all this time Ara had been judging her uncle with bad thoughts. Ara, who heard her uncle who loved her aunt so much, was touched. Her tears dripped down her lap. Also how sad Singto was, while Ara didn't even accompany him through the days of losing his mother and disappeared without a word.

"Why are you crying?", Her uncle rubbed her head.

She wanted to answer that she was very sorry that she didn't know how her uncle had felt all this time. Ara remembered her mother who was devastated by the death of her twin sister, she could imagine how sad her uncle had been. Ara wanted to say it, she opened but no sound came out of .

Her uncle smile and said, "It's okay, what happened, let it happen. Uncle can accept your aunt's death and the most important thing we all understand and know about everything. Is your mother better now?"

"Umh ..", Ara nodded.

"Uncle plans to visit your mother at the same time you return to Singapore.", he said, "I've also told your father about this. So .... you don't have to cry anymore.", he still rubbed Ara's head

"Okay ...", Ara nodded and wiped her tears.

"I'm grateful to be able to talk to you. You are like my own daughter so if you need anything you can tell uncle, understand?"

After that conversation, his uncle brought Ara to go home. Ara looked at the house with 2 floors in front of her. As far as she can remember, Ara visited her uncle's house when she was a toddler. So she doesn't really remember this house. And even though her mother is Thai, she rarely speak  Thai at home. She understands a little when her mother speaks Thai but she can't speak it. Her family doesn't have a problem she can't speak Thai, so she doesn't even think about it. 

"You can use this room. In front of you is Singto's room, but he's not home yet. If you need something don't hesitate to tell uncle.",Then her uncle left Ara alone in her room, "I'll let him know that you're here."

"No need uncle ... I want to surprise him tomorrow.", Ara said as her uncle shook his head at Ara's plan.

The next morning ..

"Morning .." Ara greeted her uncle who was eating breakfast.

"Morning. Did you sleep well?"

"Yes uncle ..", Ara smiled, "Is Singto awake?"

Actually, since over a year ago, Ara suffered from severe insomnia. Ara didn't think about it, because at first she could still get 5-6 hours of sleep. She only sleeps 2-3 hours a day, even she could not sleep in one day. She knows that she had enough stress with her study, then added to her bad breakup with her boyfriend which causes insomnia getting worse until now. Although Ara always looks cheerful and unable to keep quiet, she always kept his problems to herself, even when she's sick. 

"He called me last night that his schedule was going to finish really late and he had a schedule this morning so he said he was staying over at his friend's house.", He sighed, "Look at me often alone at home. "

"So how was the uncle offer yesterday? Want to work for uncle's company?" 

"I don't know yet, but I'll think about it. Thanks uncle", Ara smiled.

"You have a driver's license right? You can use the car in the garage if you want to get out or do you want to go with uncle?"

"Can I just go with uncle?", Araa didn't know her way around here,

"Of course, hurry up and get ready. Uncle will be waiting for you".

"Okay, give me 30 minutes to get ready"
