Although she might not admit it, she was relieved to find out from her team that they did, for a fact, receive mints when they went to Whim yesterday afternoon. She was not able to go from being preoccupied with prior commitments but she did ask for updates.

It's not like she was slightly maybe conscious of the possibility that other people may be getting kisses when she wasn't able to. That's totally not what she was worried about. If she even was worried – she was not.

And although it's not part of the scope of their agenda, she casually asked Wendy what Mamamoo was up to. It's not like she couldn't ask Byul. After all, they have been messaging each other here and there. She just thought that maybe she'll get teased again for being jealous if she did ask.

And getting jealous is not something that Irene does.

I just don't get jealous.

Wendy Son: It's cute, they're giving people mints and dental kits outside. 2:54pm

Irene Bae: So there's no contest of some sort going on? 2:55pm

Wendy Son: Oooh is there supposed to be games or something? 2:56pm

She also confirmed this information by watching the Whimsikality's Holiday Of the Day video online. It was an informational video about dental health. She tells herself that she was just genuinely curious about that holiday in particular.

When she got off work, Byul was again in front of the SM Building, offering to drive her home. Their drive was more comfortable compared to the morning. Less teasing and more conversation, learning more about each other.

It was genuinely delightful and enjoyable that when Irene got inside her apartment last night, she just then realized that despite it being Fresh Breath Day, Byul had only kissed her on the cheek again.

So today, upon waking up, avoiding unnecessary surprises on her end, she messaged Byul inquiring what day it is.

Irene is glad that Byul couldn't see her face turning red right now. She closes the app and ignores her phone so she could prepare for the day.

When she's fully dressed up, she checks her calendar for today's agenda, noticing that there's a calendar invite for tonight from Seulgi.
