Civannah’s office - SM

“I’m glad you all seem to like my idea’s. I appreciate you guys giving me your opinion’s as well. I’ll get started on getting locations and clothes set.” 

“Thanks for taking this so seriously. We were all a little nervous having an american instead of someone japanese doing the creative.” Mikako spoke.

“It’s no problem. I was a bit worried about how i’d be received here.” Civannah said with a small smile.

“Well just know you’re doing fine so far.” Hina said agreeing with Mikako. “We’re all around the same age so lets not make this uncomfortable.”

“She’s right. Three music videos is alot of time spent together, you might as well become an unofficial member of Faky.”

“Thanks Mikako, but ill have to decilne that offer. I’m happy just being the creative behind the artist.”

“But doesn’t that get annoying. We’ve been in Japan for a while but Ryan filled us in. Ryan’s not the easiest to deal with but if you ever are in need of female company, you know where to find us.” Hina spoke as she and Mikako got up from their shared couch seats.

“Thanks. Really im alright for now but it’ll definitely be my pleasure to go have dinner or something together.”

“We know this Westen restaurant that’s not half bad. Ryan found it, when we came to Korea and she still goes from time to time.” Mikako said cautiously. 

“Then id love to go. Next week maybe. And maybe, Ryan would actually come. I know she doesn’t like me but-”

“Who said that Ryan didn’t like you?” Hina asked.

“Well she hasn’t come out and said it, but her other words and actions tell me enough..”

“I think you-”

“Oh hey Vanna. I see youre busy..” Taemin  stated as he entered Civannah’s office without knocking. 

“Oh no it’s okay. We were just leaving.” Hina assured Taemin.

“What’s up Taemin?” Civannah asked as she shut the door behind the girls when they left her office. 

“I need your advice.” 

“My advice? I know we’ve become friends during this week but are you sure you want my advice?” Civannah asked sitting in the chair across from Taemin.

“Well you’re kind of the only person I can talk to about this…” Taemin said looking down at his fingers as he played with them. 

“Okay. Shoot. What has the great Lee Taemin so worried?” 

“Well there’s this girl… and I want to see her when I go to the states next week...but I don’t know if she’d even want to talk to me….”

“Ahhh so you really like this girl. What’s so different about talking to her in person rather than text or call?” 

“Well the thing is I haven’t seen or talked to her in two years..”

“Two years!?” 

“We met at Coachella and I felt like we really had something. She wasn’t an idol and she didn’t treat me differently. We spent the whole night together, under the stars, and when I woke up in the morning she was gone..”

“So you’ve been thinking about her for two years …do you even know her name?” 

“Fern.” 

“Fern? Her name is Fern?” Civannah asked only to get a nod from Taemin. Civannah sighed. “I think you should let her go. I’d love to tell you to chase after her but I don’t even think that’s her real name. It’s Coachella, people use fake names all the time. It’s also been two years...I mean it might be possible but her name,if it’s really her name, will get you so far. Tae you don’t even know where she lives…I’m sorry but I don’t think I can help you..” Civannah said regretfully. 

“Don’t be sorry...I knew it was a long shot...it’s just that night we really connected...at least I think we did...and after seeing you and Changmin this past week I thought maybe I should pursue it…”

“I don’t want to seem hypocritical, but maybe you should try to be rational. Think about it realistically..”

“Think about what realistically?” Changmin asked as he walked into Civannah’s office without even knocking, only hearing the end of their conversation.

“It was nothing I just wanted to say bye to Vannah before my flight leaves tonight.”

“Oh right. You’re going to promote SuperM for awhile.” 

“Yeah...I’ll give you guys some time alone..see you guys when we comeback.”

“We?” 

“Taemin and Jongin are both in SuperM.” 

“Ahh.. then have a good promotion. I promise to treat you both when you comeback.”

Taemin only gave a small smile and a nod before heading out of the office.

“What’s wrong with him?” 

“I’m stupid.” Civannah said as she wrapped her arms around Changmin.

“For not knowing they were in SuperM? It’s fine. They’re still relatively new and you aren’t big into Kpop.”

“I should have just supported him like he’s supported us.”

“Okay you’re really not making any sense.” 

“He likes a girl but in my opinion it wouldn’t work. He hasn’t seen or talked to the girl since Coachella two years ago.”

“Ahh that..”

“You knew?”

“How could I not. He really hit off with the girl but she disappeared without a trace. We had full schedules when we came back to Seoul and there was never time to try and find her. I feel bad for him.” 

“I’m think I’m going to look for her. For him. Honestly he’s so sweet and hard working. He’s supported us and I owe him for accepting me.”

“Don’t be reckless. You’ve already got a lot on your plate. Taemin will understand.”

Civannah shook her head. “No. I have to do this for him. I told him to think rationally...to be realistic...Ryan told me the same thing about our relationship.”

“And she’s wrong about us.” Changmin said finally wrapping his arms around Civannah.

“And I could be wrong about Taemin and this girl. I at least have to try.” 

“This is why I love you.”

“Oh so you love me?”

“Baby, you have no idea.” Changmin laughed.

“Don’t get any ideas. I have a meeting with Younha at three.”

“That’s plenty of time for me to give you a taste of what you’ve been missing out on for the past two years.” Changmin said as he dipped his head down giving Civannah a passionate kiss.
