"Boss"

His voice and the beeping sound woke me up

"Boss you're awake!"

My body hurts

"Where am I?"

White room

Smells terrible 

"Hospital" 

That voice...

"Kiall"

He's looking at me, he's sitting pretty there. Crossed legs and crossed arms 

"What?" I asked 

"You almost died"

"I know but I'm not needed down there yet" I winked to show that I'm just joking but he's too serious 

"Mazekin..."

*Knock Knock*

The door opened and...

Deo!!!

I looked at Kiall... I was expecting him to be surprised but he's not

He's calm

He knows already 

"Deo" I gave him a smile

My Deo, thank god he's ok

"Celine" he smiled and held my hand "How are you?"

"Good. You?"

Kiall cleared his throat. When we looked at him he didn't say anything,  he just started at us

"I feel better now" said Deo

Demn I feel so awkward

"Who are you?" He asked Kiall

Good thing Yulo came in "Deo! You're awake!"

"Who's this guy?"

Yulo lied "Her Brother"

Deo's face expression is funny

Earlier he's looking at him as if Kiall is my ex but now that he knows he's my 'brother' he's looking at him as if he's my dad

"Hi, sorry about that" Deo extended his arm "I'm Deo, her boyfriend"

As usual, he's impolite 

"Don't be rude" I told him

"It's ok Celine" Deo looked at him "I understand that you're upset. I'll take all the blame for this one, as her boyfriend I should be taking care of her. I'm sorry but this will be the last time that you're sister will be in trouble. I will protect her with my life"

"With your life?"

"Yes"

"Then you'll end up dying just like her ex"

"KIALL!" I couldn't control myself

I didn't expect that my wound will hurt just by shouting!

Kiall locked the door when they got out

"Why'd you stop me? Don't tell me he doesn't know?"

And that's what I did for 2 weeks

I stayed at my Villa. I barely talk to Deo, I told him that I'm resting which is true but I was also thinking hard. I need to decide

"No. I stayed at Chan's place we had to finish a project last night"

I tried to call Deo but he's not picking up. I sent him a message, no reply

Even his friends don't answer my calls

You missed a lot of classes but I took notes for you. I put my notebook on your locker. I won't go to school today 

I took his notebook and looked at his notes

Demn, he wrote a lot. I will not copy this but it's interesting, it has drawings and letterings

I scanned all his notes and I also wrote an apology letter at the back of his notebook

I didn't notice the time

Schools done already?

"Anything for you. By the way, tomorrow I'm planning to visit my aunt, she bought me ticket already would you like to go?"

"How long are you staying there?"

"3 days"

3 days... I guess I have to do it now

"Deo where'd you put the drinks?"

"Hold on! I'll be right back Celine"

I watched him talk and entertain his guest, I don't know most of them but Jun, Kyle, Chan, and Yong are here

Where's Dyle?

Doesn't matter. He won't help me on my situation anyways

"Hey what's wrong? I noticed you've been quite. You didn't like my surprise?"

"Deo, can we talk in private?"

"Talk about what? You're making me nervous"

"Let's go to my room"

He followed me to my room. The first 10 seconds was just me trying to figure out how to start

But he's very impatient

My phone rang 

It's Shaun. I was about to reject the call but Deo took my phone

"Deo!"

He answered and put it on speaker

"Are you done? Did you break up with him already?"

He immediately ended the call and give me a furious look

"Deo..." 

It's not what it looks like

"Is he the reason why you're breaking up with me?"

No. I want to say No Deo, I won't do that to you

"Is he!"

"Yes"

Forgive me Deo but I have to do this

"He's way better than you. Unlike you, he protects me. I feel safe when I'm with him. I guess what I felt for you was just temporarily"

He didn't say anything but his eyes speaks a lot 

He's hurt and I'm the reason of his pain

I hurt the man I love

"Fine" he wiped his tears "I'll let you go"

He got out of my room

"Everyone" they all looked at him "The party is over"

I can't bare to listen to his cracking voice, it makes my knees weak

I have to get out from here but

I couldn't look him in the eye 

"I gotta go"

I walked straight out of the house and Shaun was there waiting for me

I stopped in front of him

Still trying to control myself. I don't want to cry

"Shaun..." 

"Maze"

I don't know what to say but he looked at me as if he understands me 

"I... I broke up with--"

I couldn't finish my word. My tears betrayed me I don't  want to cry right now! I will do it later at my room but look at me now! 

I broke down in front of him

"Come here"

He hugged me and I hugged him back while crying on his chest 

Why does it hurt so bad? 

It feels like my heart is literally breaking 

"I'm sorry" he said "I want you to be happy it's just--"

I heard the gate opened

*ehem*

"They're looking" he whispered so I wiped my tears away and casually walked towards his car

"Shaun let's go"

Shaun got in the car and started driving

He didn't talk to me but he turned the radio on really loud so I can cry as loud as I can

I'm crying as much as I can but why does it not lessen the pain that I'm feeling?
