Jun skipped his class because of Mazekin. Such a bad influence right?

"Why are you always mean to me?"

"1st of all, we are not friends. 2nd, you are my friend's enemy--"

"That saved him from a possible head injury. See? I am nice"

"3rd, You blackmailed me"

"Come on, nothing is free in this world. Like what you said we are not friends soooooo I don't need to keep your secret... unless you pay me"

"How about 50 million?"

"Or just do what I'm asking you to do. It's really up to you"

"Why are you doing this? Do you hate him that much?"

"Nothing, which is sad. Your friend did something to me, you were there, you saw it, yet you did nothing. You don't like me because I hurt your friend but because he's your friend it's okay that he hurt me? Honestly, I feel sorry that I have to put you into this situation but I want to let you know that you're not that innocent either"

"What do you expect me to do? I'm his friend, I will be on his side"

He sit on the other side of the bench "He only have us. He have no other friends that genuinely care for him. His dad hates him, his mom couldn't stand up for him. We are his family"

Mazekin didn't say anything, she just listen

"Deo is a good friend. He bully others yes he's childish but he will do everything to protect the people he care about. When Henry got beaten up and ended up in coma, he didn't stop looking for justice. He is willing to do everything for the people he love"

"It looks like you know him very well"

"I've been his friend since grade school. His dad and my dad are good friends too"

"Do you help him on his fights?"

"Whenever I can. Whenever we can"

"You're a good friend then"

"We want to show him that he's not alone but there are situations that we can't really help him even if we want to"

"Like when his first love broke his heart. He was in misery. I mean, Deo is a strong guy. You can punch him, kick him, hurt him and he will be smiling the next day. What she did was worst, he wanted to kill himself because of her. He loved her so much that it took him years to move on"

"Celine"

Jun and Mazekin looked at the girl who called her

"Crystal wants to talk to you"

"Krystal who?"

"My friend"

"I don't even know who you are. Go tell you friend to see me"

"She's in class right now. She asked me to look for you and tell you to meet her at the music hall"

Then the bell rang

"I'll go now, I can't skip this class" said Jun

"Same here" she started walking after Jun

"Celine, Crystal will wait for you. Are you going?" 

But she didn't even look back

Mazekin went to her next class. The room was full but Deo wasn't there 

"Ms. Maze can you come here for a second?" 

She went straight to his table "Yes?"

"This are your quizzes"

She took them. All of them are failed

"Ms. Maze I understand that it's hard especially you're a transferred student, you missed a lot of topics that's why I want you to have a tutor"

"A tutor?"

"Yes. One of your classmate volunteered to help you out" he looked at the guy sitting on the front row "Dyle come here"

"Sir?" Dyle greeted her too

"I already told her about the tutoring. I hope we see some improvements in the future"

"You will sir"

"Ok Good. You two can take your seats now"

But Dyle stopped her "Celine wait"

"What?"

"I need your number so that I--"

She didn't let him finish. She wrote down her number on his notebook then walk to the very back of the room to sit on the last row 

"Maze" a familiar voice called her

"Yulo?"

"Yosef" he said "We're classmates now"

*TING*

Hey it's Dyle 😊 Want to meet at the library later after class?

She saved his number, put a name, and replied back

To: Dan
Not in the mood to study

"You, that's my seat. Sit here" Yosef moved to the only vacant chair which is the chair next to Mazekin

Now he's in the middle of Mazekin and Deo. Like a middle finger, he's the only one up while the rest of the row are sleeping

"Why'd you do that?" She asked Yosef

They're now in the cafeteria 

"You wanted to sit next to him?"

"It pisses him more"

"Aaahhh. Next time" he eats his pasta "I didn't see you on our first class"

"I was with Deo's friend"

"Who?"

"Jun the . I had an interesting conversation with him earlier and now I get why I don't get satisfied whenever we do something to Deo"

"Why?"

"Hurting him physically doesn't work because he's used to it. He got mad for the other things we did but that's it"

"What do you have in mind?"

"I want to see him miserable again. To make him feel the pain everyday"

"How can we do that?"

"Celine" 

The two of them looked at the girl standing in front of their table with her 4 other friends

Mazekin pointed at her "She'll do it" she said to Yulo

"Do what?" Crystal asked

But her question got ignored "What do you want?"

"I was waiting for you at the music hall but you didn't come"

"I never said I will"

She sat across from her at the table "I need you to do me a favor. Don't go to the student ball"

"Why?" Even though she have no plan of going to the ball

"Because..." 

'Should I say it?' Crystal don't know if she could trust her

"Because what?"

"Because of Dyle"

"Don't tell me he's planning to ask me to be his date?"

"He haven't asked you yet?" 

"No, but he asked for my number"

"Celine, reject him if he asked you. This is our last year and I want him to be my date"

"I can do that... if Deo is your date"

"What? Didn't you hear me? I said I want Dyle"

"But I don't think Dyle wants you"

"So?!!"

"Calm down. I'll help you get Dyle"

"What do you mean? How?"

"Just go to the ball with Deo. I'll tell you what you have to do before the ball"

"Okey"

"Also..." she gave her a piece of paper

"What's this?"

"Do the research for me"

Crystal is just like Dyle, popular and smart but shes's rich

"Fine I'll do it" 

Everything is going according to her plan

Yulo gave her a glass of whiskey "I thought you don't have plan to go to the student ball?"

"I won't go"

*KRIIIING*

"Yes?"

"Hey Celine, I'm working right now and you'll probably sleeping when I get home. I should have asked you yesterday I hope it's not too late...
Celine can you be my date on the ball?"

"I can't. I have other things to do"

"Aww really? Then I'm not going"

"Are you serious?"

"Yeah because--"

"Alright"

"Alright what? You're going with me?"

"Yes. I don't want you to have regrets and blame it on me"

"Hahaha you're so thoughtful-- hey sorry I have a customer now"

"Mkay. I'll go to sleep now"
