The next morning...

Most students that went to the camping didn't go to school today, some of them got traumatized but most of them used that as an excuse to skip classes 

Mazekin on the other hand is in school, she didn't skip any class. She's a good girl, a good role model-- Just kidding, she's smoking right now in the garden

She's still thinking about what happened in the forest

~ Felix Calling ~

"Hello Felix"

"Hi Mazekin. Are you busy? Can I see you today?"

"Um..."

"Please~ I miss you so much"

"Today..." she have no plans "Yeah sure. Same place at 5"

"Awesome! I'll see you later"

"Yeah"

She put her phone in her pocket. She closed her eyes to enjoy the sound of the gentle wind

She had no idea that someone is hiding behind the bush, watching her every move and listening to her every words

~ Yulo Calling ~

"Yes?"

"Boss, Felix called he said he wants to see you"

"Yeah I already told him I'll--"

She stopped when she heard something from the bush. She looked at the direction 

"Boss you still there?"

"Yeah" she continued but still looking "Where you at?"

"On my way to class. Why?"

"I can't wait to give you this important thing that I'm holding"

As soon as she raised her empty hand,  the guy hiding behind the bush peeked 

She ended the call and turned her Tracking on

"What do you want--Wait!"

He immediately run away and she went after him

Both of them run as fast as they can. They push whoever's on their way. He keep running, she keep chasing until he stopped on the alley 

He kicked her on the leg, she fell, she got up, kicked him too and he fell

She punched, he blocked 

He kicked,  she blocked

They keep attacking and blocking each other

She picked up a wood and hit him with it 

1 hit on the shoulder, 1 on the arm, and 1 on the head. He fell but immediately got up

He kicked the wood off of her hand and pulled out a knife. He swing it but that didn't scred her

Now he's on the attack mode and she's on the defense mode

She keep blocking and managed to go near him. She grabbed his mask but before she even pull it off, a cold sharp blade stabbed her 

He pulled out the knife and looked at her with wide eyes 

"Maze!!" 

He saw Yulo running towards them. He looked at her then he looked  back at Yulo before he run away

"Boss what ha--"

"Go after him!"

Yulo hesitated first because he saw her bleeding but he still went after the guy because she ordered him to do that

Mazekin walked on her way to the apartment, surprisingly the alley isn't that far

Good thing Mrs. Perez went out because she doesn't know what excuse to give her

She left the gate and the door unlock. She went straight to her room and looked for the medical kit 

*KRRIIIIINGG*

 

~ Yulo Calling ~

"You got him?"

"He got away Boss"

''

"Are you still--"

"No. I'm at the apartment"

"I'll be there right away"

She put the Medical Kit on the table, opened a bottle of scotch and chugged it while leaning on the bed

"Boss!" She heard Yulo's voice

Yes he run super fast 

"Lock it" she said and he did

He put the gloves on and ripped her shirt to see her wound clearly 

He injected her with Lidocaine to numb her before he start suturing her wound  

"Sorry I lost him"

"It's alright, he's good. He's very familiar with the streets, even the alley. It seems like they've been following me for days"

"What should we do?"

"We'll catch one of them. I'm pretty sure they'll be back"

After stitching her wound, he put an ointment then cover it with a fabric bandage "All done"

"Thank you"

He gave her an oversized shirt "You have to change, do you need help?"

"I can do it" 

He cleaned up all the mess while she's changing

"Yulo"

"Mmm?"

"I need you to go to Libero HQ tomorrow, I want to know what's happening there cuz Kiall haven't updated me since two weeks ago. Also tell them what happened today and tell them to be careful"

"I will"

Yulo left after that.

4:00 pm 

 

*Knock Knock*

"Whaaat?" She didn't shout but it was loud enough for him to hear it

"Hey it's Deo"

*Knock Knock*

"Yea I'm coming"

She slowly got up to open up the door

"Hey, I didn't see you in History class so I-- are you alright? You looked pale"

"I'm fine. What do you want?"

"Here. I wrote down some notes, you can copy it"

"Thanks" she took the notebook, she was about to close the door but Deo stopped her

"What"

"Can you please leave your door unlock?

She nodded before she closed the door

"She's not picking up my calls!"

"Felix, maybe she's busy"

"Busy of what!! Kiall's running Libero right now she have all the time in the world!!"

"Calm down brother"

"Shut up Crystal!"

"Celine..." Deo said in a low tone, he doesn't want to wake Dyle and Mrs. Perez up

What will they think if they see him on her room at this hour 

He opened the lights 

"Hey..." 

He walked towards her when he saw her sweating while breathing heavily. He sit on her bed and touched her forehead "You're hot"

He tried to wake her up "Celine"

"Hmm"

"Hey... you need to drink a medicine. You have a high fever. Come on let's go to the kitchen I'll make you a soup"

"I don't want to eat" she's too weak to even stand

"You have to drink medicine, you have a high fever. Hold on I'll make you a corn soup"

He just boiled water then put the ingredients from the packet soup. It only took him 5 minutes then he went back to her room a bowl of soup

"Celine... wake up"

"I said I don't want to eat"

"No just eat a little so that you can drink the medicine. Come on I cooked this for you"

"Fine"

He helped her sit up and feed her "Say Ahh"

"Stop I'm not a kid"

"Well you do look like a kid right now... cute"

"I'm full"

"Ok. Now drink this" he gave her 1 tablet and a glass of water "after that you can sleep"

"I'm fully awake now"

Deo giggled "because you're full. Do you want more food? I have many just tell me"

"Many?"

"Yes. I noticed earlier that you're not feeling well so I went to the convenience store to buy some snacks and medicine as well"

"You did that for me?"

"Wha--no no not for you but for me. I eat snacks and I drink medicine sometimes"

She smiled "Where's the snacks?"

"It's in my room, I'll go get it"

He bring a whole bag of different snacks "I don't know what you want so I bought different types of snacks and juice. Do you like chocolate milk?"

"I haven't tried them"

"Here, try it. It taste good"

She did and she loved it "you're right, it does taste good"

"I told ya. Here try this one"

"Hmm it's ok. I prefer the chocolate milk can you buy me more of this?"

"Sure when you don't have fever anymore"

1:30 am

"That happened to you? HAHA--"

"Shhh!" Deo covered . He's trying not to laugh too "I was just a kid"

"I know. I've been a kid once but i wasn't that dumb"

They talked about many things until they lost track of the time

"No~ I was like her unofficial boyfriend because we had no label but she said she love me and that was enough for me"

"And then what happened?"

"Her ex came back"

"And she left you"

"Yeah... then she got pregnant and the jerk left her. She wanted me back but Henry told me she'll just use me"

"Obviously. She made a wrong choice"

"Well I couldn't blame her. I'm nothing compared to her ex. He's like the good looking guy in a kdrama and I'm like--"

"Cute. You're cute like a bunny"

"Stop"

She pinched his cheek "I'm not lying just to make you feel better. If I were her I would pick you"

"No you won't"

She laughed "Your confidence is so low. Trust me, look is not everything.  I know a lot of good looking guys and they're a mess"

"Did your ex broke your heart that's why you don't date anymore?"

"No... he just left me"

"Why is that?"

"Maybe because I am not worth fighting for"

"That's not true. If I were him, I would be by your side 24/7" he gave her a genuine smile

She smiled but her eyes are sad. She remember him...

"No really. I will fight whoever try to hurt you. I will always be there to protect you. "

"Stop" she said as her tears fall down 

"Hey are you crying? What did I do, did I say something?"

She wiped her tears "He said the same exact words"

"But he didn't do it sshhh" he helped her wipe her tears "You look cute when you're crying but you're beautiful when you don't. I prefer to see you smile. How I wish he didn't hurt you because you don't deserve that. If I were him, I will do everything to make you happy everyday..." He stopped 

They're both gazing at each other. She slowly looked down to his lips

And the next thing that happened was  her lips are on his lips
